MHA: Blood Drive

So I died, big surprise. The real surprise was discovering that I was reincarnated in a world full of people with powers, villains and heroes. Oh, I was also the twin brother of a villain. This is going to be fun. I'm doing this for fun, don't expect me to upload daily. the most I can do is once a week if I don't get lazy Also, the fanart doesn't belong to me, just like BNHA, so if the artist want it removed, it shall be done.

Chapter 4: Bad Apple

You know that bad feeling you get when everything seems to go to shit?

Well, my friends, that's exactly what I'm going through right now.

The years I spent in this world made me forget a lot of information about my past life, one of which was my twin sister's quirk.

So imagine my surprise when one day, she came to me when I was practicing with my quirk, secretly of course, I didn't want to get in trouble with my mother about what she had told me about being forbidden to use my quirk.

It's hard to keep things hidden from your sibling when you sleep in the same room after all. Oh, and she can be reaaaaally clingy at times, like, really clingy. It was totally normal for her to just climb into my bed to sleep next to me. I lost count of how many times I woke up only to see her drooling on my shoulder with a huge smile on her face.

I don't care if that's what she likes to do, as long as she's happy, I'll put up with anything for that little golden energy cookie.

Lately, my intake of iron-containing foods has increased over time as I use my quirk, something that has basically become a requirement, but no matter how much I eat, my quirk always seems to demand more.

So there I was, with a knife made of blood in my hand. Yeah, kind of weird reading that sentence out loud, isn't it?

Apparently the weapons I make don't need to be connected to the veins in my body so I can control them, it's like I can control them with some form of psychic power, but it only works with my own blood.

Something I've noticed is that the amount of weapons I can make, along with their quality, is directly linked to the amount of iron in my blood.

I realized this just a few months after I almost got first place in the speedrun of turning a child into a skewer.

Yeah, going back to kindergarten wasn't much fun after that. Everywhere I went, there was always someone watching me, as if I were a rabid animal. It was getting pretty annoying, but I understand why, but that doesn't mean I'm just going to explode out of nowhere, at least I hope not.

By the way, that voice hasn't come back until now, I don't know how or why, but I believe it is related to my quirk, I was called host by it after all.

I've been practicing with things other than knives and small spears, the internet is a great source of inspiration when you need something to practice with, so I started gathering ideas from old weapons. Ever since quirks started to appear, firstly in China with that shining kid, ancient times started to become more and more obsolete as the age of heroes started to occupy basically all forms of entertainment in this world.

Seriously, everywhere I went there was something to do with heroes.

Games, clothes, restaurants, hell, there were even television shows based on that sort of thing. I was quite fond of things related to heroes and villains in my previous world, but seeing this every day was starting to get more and more boring.

Oh, by the way, that famous guy that everyone has heard about even for those who haven't seen MHA, All Might or something like that, was starting to gain popularity.

This guy had a lot of charisma, you could see why he's going to be ranked as the number one hero in the future, he's really something else, some might say he was built differently.

Capitalist machinations and attractions aimed at heroes aside, there I was, in the room I share with Himiko, simply transforming the floating blood in front of me into all sorts of shapes, going beyond weapons. It felt like there was no limit to what I could do with it, it took the form of furniture, clothes, jewelry and more, it wasn't just limited to weapons.

Very helpful that I can just get the blood back into my body, it would be very difficult to explain to my parents why my room was soaked in blood. However, I can't do too much at once, my current limit is five knives I can control, or something big like a sword.

Yes, I almost passed out from the sudden dizziness I got after so much blood left my body. I have to be careful with that, something like that might casually spell my end in a fight, and there was no way in hell I was going to leave Himiko alone.

Speaking of which, she's been pretty quiet lately, I thought as I looked at the bed, where she was sitting watching me. Unusual for how much energy she has.

Seriously, did she even blink? At least I can count on her to keep this secret between us.

I raised an eyebrow, it was about time I asked her what she wanted.

"So Himi, do you want something? You kind of…stood there for a good half hour."

Oops, she blinked, finally, her eyes can really get dehydrated if she does this often.

"Oh, it's nothing Haru! It's just…it's so amazing to see what you can do with your blood!"

I couldn't help but laugh, she was too adorable for her own good.

"Are you sure? A lot of people find that scary you know?"

She clenched her fists and brought them to her chest, as if she was going to punch someone, her gleeful face twisted into a frown.

"Well, they're all idiots then! I think your quirk is amazing Haru!"

I smiled, glad I had someone who at least supported me. Even though it was a 4 year old, it was nice to know that my sister didn't think anything bad about me.

"Imagine when you get yours then huh? We can practice together!"

Suddenly, her features returned to a huge smile, a blush on her face. She blushes very easily, in fact, it tended to happen when I used my quirk around her, she was fascinated by the control I had over my blood.

"Yes…together!"

She got up off the bed in a quick jump, heh, if I tried that in my past life, my vision would start to spin really fast.

"Well Haru...I've been feeling something, could you help me?"

My eyebrows rose in surprise. Already? It hasn't been that long since my quirk came along, I think her tendency to repeat the things I do is still there.

"Of course Himi, what have you been feeling? Don't tell me you're hearing a voice in your head?"

All that appeared on her face was confusion. Phew, at least something good came of it, it would be too weird to explain why we both have voices in our heads. That would certainly be reason for us to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital back in my world.

She shook her head.

"No, it's not that... it's like something is trying to tell me something"

Well, that's a good sign, at least it's not a bloodthirsty voice that wants you to impale a child with a spear.

"And what does that say Himi?"

I will help her as much as possible, if her quirk is anything like mine I will be the support she needs as I very much doubt our parents will want to help us with this based on their reaction when my quirk showed up and everything else.

She got closer, closer and closer. Okay, now she was a little too close, I thought as I took a few steps back.

"I don't know, but whenever I see your blood, something tells me to taste it... it seems strange, doesn't it?"

Her face got a little sad when she said that last part. My protective instincts quickly kicked in, nothing in this world is going to make my sister sad, not even herself, not if I can help it.

I took her by the shoulders with my small hands, her golden eyes meeting mine, surprise evident in her features.

"Of course not Himiko! You're my sister, nothing you say is going to be weird for me, okay? So you can always tell me whatever you want!"

She looked at me, delighted for a few seconds, until she smiled, one of the big smiles she always does, and jumped up to hug me. I had to steady my posture so I wouldn't be knocked to the ground, the fragile appearance she had could fool people about the strength she had, I've been knocked down for her several times because of that.

"Thank you so much Haru! I knew I could count on you, thank you so much!"

I returned the hug. Geez, I'm not leaving you that easy, you know? But I can understand where she comes from, kids wear their hearts on their sleeves, so she must be afraid I'll find her scary or something. Heh, as if I was capable of thinking such a thing about this adorable little golden creature.

"Hehe, no problem at all Himi, so all you need is some of my blood right? Well, here it goes"

I reached out a finger towards her, causing my blood to start to flow from my finger towards her. My intention was to make her not need to touch her mouth where the cut was coming out, it was pretty unhygienic after all, the mouth had a lot of bacteria that I really didn't want to have to deal with.

Imagine my surprise when she simply took my hand and put her finger in her mouth.

I widened my eyes. Okay...that was definitely unexpected. I was tempted to take my finger out of her mouth, but looking at the happy expression on her face, I was content to let her have her way.

A few seconds passed. She still had my finger in her mouth.

Okay, I think that's enough.

"Right, right. Guess that should be enough, don't you think?"

I took my finger from her mouth, her expression was disappointed for a moment, but then her smile returned in full force.

"Yea! Thanks again Haru!"

"You're welcome Himi, sooooo...any idea how to use your quirk?"

"Hmmm, yes, I feel something…I just need…yes!"

Her face formed a grimace of concentration, I had no idea what my sister's quirk would be like, it's been a long time since I was in this world, so naturally, some information would get lost to the sands of time.

Then, right in front of me, she began to transform. No, that wasn't it, there wasn't anything flashy going on, it wasn't like a Pokémon evolving, one moment it was Himiko and the next it was me. I could only watch when a mud-like substance covered her entire body as a perfect copy of me.

It was like looking into a mirror, that is, if a mirror could make expressions different from yours.

Heck, this would be really useful for stealth activities, she would be a hell of a stealth character.

Her eyes opened, her yellow eyes glowing with happiness.

"Yea! It worked, what do you think Haru!?"

It was kind of weird to hear my voice so enthusiastically, quite different from my usual calm voice.

"This is amazing Himiko! I can already imagine how many cool things you can do!"

The huge smile she normally wore was quite different to see on my face, along with the blush. Geez, she blushes so easily, in my two lives I've never come close to the level of blushing she can casually get.

"Hehe! Glad you liked it Haru!"

I smiled, ready to respond to how incredible I thought her power was, when the knob on our bedroom door started to turn.

Then Mom came into our room. We didn't have time to do anything but look at her with our surprised faces.

Something that was quickly mirrored in our mother's face, as she saw in the room, not one, but two Harus.

Damn, that would be one hell of an explanation.
