Death

This is my first book I've written and I'm only doing this to pass time while waiting for the books I'm reading to publish new chapters please be nice to me😁

Smoke, all I can see and smell is smoke running through flames, our mc raged and out of breath.

'You're probably wondering how I got into this mess. Let's rewind back to this morning.'

In the morning, our mc is woken up by a shout, "JACK WAKE UP YOUR GONNA BE LATE FOR YOU INTERVIEW," our mc now know as Jack scrambles out of bed and rushes to his closet looking for his tidiest clothes he can find

Jack walks towards a mirror to make sure he looks good for his interview. In the mirror, we see a 6'3 young man dressed in a business suit. He is an average looking man apart from his height with brown hair and brown eyes

Jack heads down stairs "thanks mum for waking me up," Jack said, still looking a bit groggy from just waking up

Jacks mum replies "your lucky I remembered eny later, and you would be late to your interview, here have some breakfast."

Jack scarves down his breakfast and rushes towards the door "thanks mum your the best!"

Jack's mum shakes her hair while watching her son leave. "What am I going to do with that boy?" she says

back with Jack, we see him bolting down the street rushing to the bus station, hoping he makes it on time.

just as he sees the bus station, he notices the bus departing the bus station and screams, "WAIT!" unluckily, the bus did not stop for him, and he had to either wait for the next bus or run to his interview and hope he makes it.

Jack decided that it would be best for him to run as the next bus is 1 hour away from stopping at the bus station 'shit' thinks Jack as he has fifteen minutes till his job interview and he is only half way there.

just has Jack turns the next corner, he hears cries for help, and he could smell smoke coming from the building next to him

Jack looks up and sees smoke coming out of one of the windows in the apartment complex and shouts, "crap someone call 911 there's a fire in that building."

all the other people here's him shout and look at the apartment and notice the smoke, and now flames spewing from the window, everyone starts shouting and calling 911 for help

while this is all happening, our mc Jack is staring at the apartment and contemplating how long it will take for the fire department to get here but then overhears one of the people talking to the 911 operator and here's them shout "45 minutes that's way to long very one in that building will be dead before they get here"

when Jack heard that he didn't know what happened, all he knew was his legs started to move on there own and he ran into the burning building as soon as he got inside all he could see was some and flames

Jack ran around the building, being careful not to get burnt by the flame or fall through the floor on higher floors

as he was reaching the third floor, he heard a woman's voice shout, "HELP, PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!" he rushes over and sees a woman trapped under a collapsed wooden beam

before even thinking he ran over and said, "Don't worry, everything is going to be alright." Because of the smoke all the woman could say was "please help me" before passing out from inhaling to much smoke

Jack starts looking around for something that could help him get this woman out from under neath the beam and notices a broken bar not too far away and grabs it

he wedges it underneath the beam and uses it to push the beam off of the women. He picks the woman up and rushes back outside, and notices some ambulances have arrived but still no fire fighters, so he rushes over to one of the paramedics and passes them the woman

before the paramedic could say anything, he rushed back into the flame to look for anyone else stuck inside little did Jack know was that a news crew had showed up to the seen and had filmed him rushing into the flames

later on, he had saved another five people and was just about to rush back into the flames, but before he could go the fifth person, he saved shout at him, saying "PLEASE SAVE MY DAUGHTER SHE IS TRAPED IN MY APARTMENT ON THE FIFTH FLOOR!"

just as Jack enters the building for the sixth time, he shouts BACK " DONT WORRY MA'MA ILL SAVE YOUR DAUGHTER" and disappears into the smoke

as this is being filmed by a news crew, millions of people are watching after being told to watch because their friend or family has seen it

back at home with Jack's mum, we see her turn on the TV and switch the channel over to news just as Jack places the fifth person down

Jack's mum gets confused and checks again to see if her son is one the news and watches the conversation happen between Jack and the fifth person he saves and starts crying and worry for her son but deep down she also as the feeling of pride for her son and is proud that he has saved so many people from a burning building while others just watch and film what's going on.

back with Jack he has just reached the top floor where that person's daughter is and is search each apartment for the child just as he was about to enter the next apartment he hears "CAUGH, CAUGH, help!" and instantly kicks the door down.

just after he kicks the door down he slips and lands ontop of some broken glass and sharp bits of metal cutting his ands and legs open, one of the sharp bits of metal even gets stated into Jack's stomach causing tremendous pain to shoot through Jack's body causing Jack to scream "AGGHHHH"

Jack pushes through the pain and stands up continuing his search for the child as he goes to search one of the rooms In the apartment flames shoot out of the room and burn his skin causing more pain to shoot through Jack's body

Jack collapsed due to the pain running through his body and because of the smoke in his lungs and exhaustion due to running back and forth the apartment

just as Jack was about to lose concessions he here's the child again in an even weaker voice than last time say "please help me"

instantly Jack got back up thinking to himself 'come on Jack just one more, save this little girl and you can finally rest'

Jack rushes into the room ignoring the flames burning his skin. he grabs the little girl who just lost consciousness and Sheila's here from the flames attempting to burn her

Jack races through the building getting even more injured on the way, he keeps running ignoring the pain and only focusing on saving this little girl and before he even bew it he was outside covered in blood wounds and burn marks

everyone at the scene stops what they are doing and just stares in shock at this man hold coverd in blood and loking like a warrior.

a woman rushes out of the crowd snaping everyone out of their trans and runs up to Jack and hugs him bowling her eyes out

it's Jack's mum after she saw the news she rushed right over worrying for her sons life while she was hugging him she remembers his injuries and instantly let's go and starts apologising

before she could react he passes her the child and says "mum stop worrying about me and get her to a paramedic, please!" without a second thought she rushes to a paramedic forgetting about her sons injuries because of his calm voice and gets the girl checked and sent to the same hospital the mother is at

just as she finished she remembered her son and his horrific injuries and turns around, just as she turns around she sees her son collapsed to the ground

she runs over tears appearing in her eyes and nears next to her son she hugs him, Jack tries to get back up but she stops him

she says "Jack, that's enough now the fire fighters have gotten the rest of the people out of the building, you can rest now"

Jack replies "mum..., I'm so sorry, I don't think I can make it, sorry I couldn't get a job and make you proud" Jack starts crying

Jack's mum says "you idiot boy I was always proud of you, you didn't need to prove to me by getting a job I am and always will be proud of you" she starts crying even more and hugs him

just as Jack reaches his last breath he wispers to his mum "I love you mum sorry that I you can't see me grow older" and passes away leaving his mother to start whaling and hugging his dead body as paramedics rush to try and save his life

just as Jack passes all he could see was a bright light before it turned into a.....
