A week has passed since the incident...

You could see two teenagers walking back to a house, and while they were walking...

"Yusuke. I actually have something to tell you..." said a teenager with a buzz cut, in a somber tone.

"Hm? What is it, Inacchi?" asked a blonde teenager.

"A hero that Dad was training... managed to put me in U.A.'s Recommendation Entrance Exam..." Inasa said hesitantly.

"I can't believe you! You said we wou- Pfft! Puhahaha!" Yusuke laughed.

"Eh?"

"What? Did you really think I would get angry because of that?" the blonde teenager asked with a smile, wiping a tear from his eye.

"No- I just-" Inasa rambled, but Yusuke stopped him.

"Look, I'm happy for you! That's a great opportunity, Inacchi!" he said, with a reassuring smile.

"I should've known! I'm sorry for assuming that, Yusuke!" Inasa said with a bow that reached the concrete floor.

"Hey- It's alright. No need to sweat it. Come on."

...

A few hours later, when Inasa and his parents left, Yusuke went up to his room, a can of soda floating behind him.

He sat on a chair, facing his study table. He then took the empty can and tried to crush it, only using the wind pressure. After a few seconds, he managed to crush it.

He sighed and thought about his training. His destructive power is not that strong since he prioritized precision over power. Power does not equal strength, as it seemed. Using the air, he could carry a person, or two if he focused enough, but even after that, his destructive power was still not that strong.

Considering the exam was going to involve heavy robots, he was starting to worry about his Quirk's destructiveness.

...

Yusuke then opened his drawer and grabbed the lighter. He opened it, and a small fire was created. He raised his free hand, and the fire slowly kept getting bigger and bigger. A few moments later, he stopped, as to not burn his house down.

...

Over the years, even though he trained his Quirk's strength, he primarily focused on precision. Meaning, that he could do things like adding oxygen to a fire, making it hotter, and bigger.

But that's not all. By focusing on precision, he could also create rough weapons using air. Though, he doesn't see the effectiveness of the air weapons, not unless he could solidify them.

The teen suddenly stopped. He hit his head with his palm and smiled wryly. Why didn't he try 'that'?

'I didn't try compressing the air to make the weapons... Sigh, I should really up my game if I want to survive this world and have fun.'

...

And so, the first thing he did in the morning, after eating breakfast, he went outside, to the woods. The forest has now become his training grounds, more or less.

Arriving, he looked at a big tree and exhaled. Air started gathering in front of the teen, and he slowly compressed them to make a curved slash.

Not wasting any time, he hurled it towards the tree. Making contact with the tree, it slowly dissipated, leaving a shallow gash.

"Idiot. I'm an idiot! That's Basic Aerokinesis 101!" the yellow-haired teen shouted, smiling in joy.

Immediately after that, Yusuke tried to create a swirling ball of air and a protective dome made of wind. He even tried to construct animals using air. The teen succeeded, but it wasn't that detailed.

Yusuke grinned as his hair flowed freely with the wind, and said,

"I'm really going to have fun today."

As the sun was rising, it cast an orange hue on the dark sky...

Since it was Summer, Yusuke, alongside Kida, went to their Karate Classes. They started going to the classes a year back when the Dojo was built in their town.

Mina originally went with them, but only a week later, she dropped out, finding it boring and wanting to focus on her Dance Lessons.

Going inside the Dojo, you could see various equipment, either hanging on the wall or on the floor. There were also several mats designated for each student.

After changing into their uniforms, they were performing some warm-ups when an elderly bald man came in. He was surprisingly full of life and energy for his age.

All students bowed, shouting, "Sensei!"

He bowed, and said, "Let us begin."

...

After two hours of performing various Karate techniques, the students changed out of their uniforms, thanked their teacher, and left the Dojo.

"Is your decision final, Kicchi?" a blonde-haired teen asked his black-haired friend.

The teen in question scratched his cheek, replying, "Yeah. I'm just not suited for Hero Work, you know?"

"But then why did you take up Karate Lessons?" the blonde teen questioned.

"Well, I still want to be able to defend myself and... and Kowai, if we're ever in danger," Kida replied.

Yusuke tilted his head sideways, and said with an innocent smile, "But she's going to be a Hero... the only one who's going to get protected is... you."

Kida's face reddened in embarrassment as he cleared his throat, "S-shut up, Yoa-san."

...

A few minutes later, they separated and went back to their homes. Arriving, Yusuke greeted his mother before immediately going to the "Training Forest", as he labeled it.

He approached a relatively big tree. It had shallow gashes along its trunk and one slightly deep slash mark.

"I've completely destroyed this tree... I should practice on a different one..." the teen sweat-dropped as he stared at the tree in front of him.
