7: Dangerous Encounter

~Yusuke POV~

Hm? Where am I?...

Why am I in a hospital room?

This is strangely familiar...

"You're here...?" said a sickly voice.

That voice...!

"Hello... Uncle..." I reply, no control over my body. It's as if I was simply watching a scene.

This is... just a dream, right? But...

"Kiddo... You have... school, today... Why did you... come here...?" he asked with a weak voice.

"I just... I wanted to see you..." I replied, tears forming in my eyes.

This is a rather... unpleasant memory... Sigh.

As I looked at his pale face, he tried forming a brave smile, and said, "Heh... Looks like this is the... end of my chapter..."

"Don't say that!" I exclaim.

"I hope... you don't make the same mistakes I did, kiddo..." My Uncle continued.

I couldn't say anything about this, at all... My words got stuck in my throat...

"Enjoy life... Be kind. Have friends. Be honest... and, most importantly... Even though you're growing up... you should... never stop having... fun... Because, if you can't have fun... there's no sense in... living... Always... remember, that..." he spoke, one last time, the smile never leaving his face.

A long noise followed that, but that noise turned into beeps, and I was woken up.

"Sigh, this alarm clock never fails to wake me up..." I say exasperatedly.

I should take a bath, now that I'm awake... Remembering that memory... is not enjoyable whatsoever, sigh.

But, it makes me think... It's almost been fourteen years since I reincarnated here... And it's been really fun!

It seems that I was really lucky to be born to a loving mother... I'm also lucky that I didn't meet any Villains, living here in this town...

I guess Springer Hero: Spring-Man is doing a great job...

[A/N: Don't bother searching that name. Springer Hero's only been mentioned once in the entire show (if I remember correctly), so I doubt you'd find anything about him.]

Well then, it's time to go to school. Don't wanna be late on the first day!

~General POV~

After saying goodbye to his mother, Yusuke started heading to Mustafa Private School. On his way there, a pink-skinned girl waved at him.

He waved back, and they continued going to school.

...

A few minutes later, they finally arrived. Yusuke looked around and suddenly felt nostalgic.

He took a deep breath, and thought, 'I can't wait to enter U.A!'

Months passed by, with every day being the same; children going to school, learning, and having a danger-free life.

But... on the last week of school...

Classes had just ended, and the students were making their way to school. Four students, however, took a different road, going to an Ice Cream Shop.

"What flavor of Ice Cream are you going to buy?" asked, the new addition to the group.

"I heard they have a whole new set of flavors this week," said Kida.

Yusuke nodded, and said, "Yeah! I think I'm going to try their Lavender Ice... cream...", but he trailed off as they were covered by a huge shadow.

"Where is the Springer Hero Agency?..." asked an enormous man, towering over them.

They couldn't see the unknown man's face as it was covered by a similar-sized cloak. But, even his voice was able to scare the students.

"You're not going to tell me...? Why won't you... tell me?" he asked, cracking a part of the building beside them.

"T-take a right at that corner..." Yusuke answered, pointing the way, but his eyes were flickering.

"and... and make a left at the big street!" Mina continued.

After a long silence, the man said, "Thank you...", and finally left the group alone.

When the man was gone, the group fell down in fright. While they exclaimed in fear and relief, a certain blonde student was still standing, contemplating.

'What... was that? No, wait. He seemed familiar... But, that's beside the point... I felt that feeling, again... The feeling I felt when I was falling from the sky. The feeling I felt, right before I died. But this time, it was only... fear. I-I don't know if that's a good thing or not, but... this is certainly eye-opening...'

Growing up again for the past fourteen years, danger-free has made him complacent, the boy thought deeply. However, this experience had opened his eyes to the dangers of the world he was brought in. He had finally remembered that this new world is not just rainbows and sunshine.

'Shigaraki... Stain... The League of Villains... and the worst being in Japan; All For One...' thought Yusuke.

'If I want to continue having fun living in this world... I, at the very least, need to be strong enough to not be in danger. Strong enough, so that I can survive in the future... I-... I need to train harder.'

The boy sighed, smiled anxiously, and thought, 'Of course, I shouldn't forget having fun while doing so, because I promised Uncle... that I would have fun in everything I do.'
