The afternoon sun shone a mellow tint of yellow on a small forest.
In that forest stood a blonde teenager, his body glistening from sweat. As he exhaled, his hand was held out toward a tree that was roughly cut in half.
"This... isn't illegal, is it?" he said to himself with a nervous chuckle.
He put his hands in a prayer position and bowed slightly.
"I promise to plant a forest-load of trees once I become a Hero. Thank you for serving your purpose to me."
Looking at his own body, he decided to go home and take a shower, since he is supposed to meet up with Kida, Mina, and Kowai at an Ice-Cream Parlor.
It was their last time hanging out as normal students. He and Mina would go to U.A. to become Heroes, while Kowai was going to go to Seiai Academy. Kida on the other hand was going to attend a Business School to work in his father's company and also to satisfy his parents' hopes of one day taking over it.
...
Yusuke headed home, and after taking a shower, he made his way to the Ice-Cream Parlor.
...
A young man entered the building, wearing a simple outfit. He had dark blonde hair that was swept to the right. He searched the room, finding his friends sitting at a table.
[Yusuke Image]~
One has straight black hair and glasses that seemed to fit his oval head perfectly.
[Kida Image]~
The other had flaxen-colored eyes that complemented her long brown hair.
[Kowai Image]~
The last one has short unruly pink hair, which was a shade darker than her skin, covering a part of her two thin yellow horns. Her eyes, which had black sclera and yellow irises, scanned the room for Yusuke.
[Mina Image]~
Their conversation halted when Mina spotted him.
"Yukkun! Over here!" she called out, waving her hands.
He greeted them with a smile as he approached the table.
"Hey, guys."
"Heya! Are you nervous about the Entrance Exam tomorrow, Yusu-tan?" Kowai asked him.
He sat down, replying with a smile, "A little bit, but I'm sure I'll ace it just like you did with your exam."
Yusuke then turned to Mina and asked her, "What about you, Minacchi?"
"Not at all!" she answered excitedly.
...
The gang talked for another half-hour until they decided to take a stroll, exploring the town.
Noticing that it was starting to get dark, they decided to say goodbye and start heading back home.
"Good luck on the Exam tomorrow, Minacchi!" Yusuke exclaimed as they separated.
"You too, Yukkun!" she shouted, waving her hands goodbye.

The sun rose above the horizon, giving the sky a rosy hue.
Yusuke went out of their house, but not after kissing his mother goodbye.
Wearing his Middle School Uniform, he started heading to the Train Station.
And, one train ride and walk later, he arrives in front of U.A. High. Stepping inside, he could see dozens of students heading towards a building. He scanned the crowd, but he didn't find any familiar face. They were either inside the building already or they simply haven't arrived yet.
He shrugged and went inside, not wasting any time.
Inside was a spacious room filled with countless seats. In front was a podium for the speaker. He sat on one of the seats and waited for the seminar to start.
...
The room gradually filled with people, and ten minutes later, a tall, slim man with long blonde hair that was spiked upwards, came into the room.
He cleared his mouth and talked loudly.
"Welcome little Listeners! I'm Present Mic!!! Can I hear you say "Heyyy!"?!"
"Heyyy!!" Yusuke shouted with a smile, but the rest were silent.
"Thank you, that one examinee listener! Anyway, I'm here to present the guidelines for your Practical Exam!" he talked loudly, which he quickly followed in English, "Are. You. Ready?!"
"Yeah!!!" Yusuke shouted, and once again, the rest were silent.
"Alrighto!!!" Present Mic shouted, pointing at the blonde teen.
"This is how the test will go!" the adult informed them as the screen behind him turned on. He continued, "You'll be experiencing a ten-minute-long Villain Attack at our replica city district!"
"After this, you'll each head to your assigned testing location! Now, each site is filled with three kinds of Faux Villains! You'll be awarded points for defeating each, according to their respective difficulty levels!"
"Your goal, listeners, is to use your quirk to disable these Faux Villains and earn the most points as possible!" he shouted. He then continued with, "And of course, attacking other examinees is prohibited!"
Present Mic was about to continue, but someone raised their hand.
"Sir, may I ask a question?!"
"Yes?"
The student cleared his throat and said loudly, "There appear to be four varieties of Faux Villains, on this handout! Such a blatant error, if it is one, is highly unbecoming for U.A., Japan's Top Academy!!!"
The adult was about to talk again, but it seems like the student wasn't done. He looked at a certain green-haired teen and said, "You, with the curly hair! You've been muttering this whole time, it's distracting!"
He glanced at a blonde student, but he didn't say anything about him, and instead added, "If this is some sort of game to you, then please leave immediately!"
'I forgot that Iida was this haughty...' Yusuke thought with an uneasy smile.
...
After Present Mic cleared up the misunderstanding, all the examinees were given a piece of paper, indicating which site they were sent to. Yusuke was sent to "Site C".
He didn't bring any equipment since he doesn't need them. He only brought a change of clothes. So, after changing into a white combat shirt, he headed to his assigned site.
