Even though my face radiated the aura of someone who hadn't slept in days, with my eyes closing on their own and my neck looser than usual, I didn't stop.

I had discovered a couple of very interesting topics that kept me away from the realm of Morpheus.

"Hero Academies" and "Hero Agencies."

The first was about the places where aspiring heroes went to study and professionalize.

This world had already fully adapted to these Quirks and, therefore, things like academies dedicated to heroism were common all over the world.

Out of curiosity or nostalgia, it didn't matter, I inquired about my beloved England. It was strange to think that a week and a little more ago I had woken up in my apartment about 10 km away from here.

But now, everything was different: not the same year, not the same country, not the same reality.

Was my old home still standing? Yes, the answer was more than obvious. But still, this certainty comforted me and also prompted me to continue the next topic. Moreover, I decided that as soon as I could fulfill the dream my father had always longed for me, I would return to England.

I nodded decisively at the idea.

Hero agencies resembled security companies established by the heroes themselves to protect society and keep the peace.

According to the images before me, the largest and most prestigious agencies were awash in wealth, with vast land and buildings scattered throughout Japan.

The pattern was repeated with agencies in other countries. The most popular and the most effective heroes had one.

My pupils glowed with excitement at the prospect.

My two objectives prior to reaching my life goal were clear:

1. To enter the best hero academy in Japan, The U.A.

2. To found my own hero agency.

I was determined to achieve this.

.....

The next morning, after I had done enough research, I was awakened by an external force.

Since I had not managed to find an alarm clock similar to mine, I had to rely on someone to rouse me from sleep or if this body would wake up at my will.

In the end, it was the former that happened.

"Nate, Nate, c'mon, wake up!"

I felt repeated pats land on one of my shoulders.

"Huuh, what time is it?"

I asked, as I opened my eyes.

This body was definitely not used to late nights; the heaviness in my eyelids was unbearable.

"It's time for breakfast, get your butt out of bed and hurry up!"

I don't know how or when, but somehow I found myself sitting at the table, with a plastic plate in front of me, containing three strips of bacon and two eggs.

Was that my breakfast? The food glistened due to the disgusting amount of oil they had prepared it with.

"I've already eaten, so hurry up and finish it too. We have to go to the rooftop!"

Was this breakfast suitable for a child of this body's age?

I looked at her and her piercing eyes forced me to finish my breakfast as I wondered why we were going to the rooftop.

Although my taste buds enjoyed the bacon and eggs, I had to hold back tears.

Again the same thing happened; once I took the last bite, my surroundings changed without my realizing it.

In front of us, a gray door with peeling paint appeared.

"As you know, Mommy commonly comes here for yoga, but this time we came for you, Naty."

What did she say?

I was rubbing my eyes with all the concentration I could muster, so I didn't really hear her.

"You go in first, you'll see how good as new you feel!"

She pushed the door with her left arm and, as if the division between two oceans had been formed, the darkness of the corridor and the light of the rooftop were delimited.

My body moved automatically as the sunlight unfolded before my eyes. I crossed that threshold without hesitation.

The Sun hit me directly and I felt an instant revitalization. It was as if I had enjoyed a full night's rest and had not faced any work problems all week.

The heaviness in my eyelids vanished, and the sluggishness in my mind dissipated with it.

I contemplated the sun as its rays bathed me. My eyes felt no discomfort at all; in fact, I felt I could stare at the Sun as long as I wanted.

Was this a consequence of my power?

"Your father also loved the sun, indeed, I think he loved it more than he loved me, hehehehe."

She said with longing in her eyes, but when she realized I was looking at her, she smiled at me as if she herself were the Sun.

"It's strange that you didn't notice when we left the hospital. I thought that would be the first time I would see you with that expression."

She pointed to my face as she spoke.

"Your Daddy wore that same expression when he saw the sun."

My Daddy...? Since the strange journey of souls, I never found any trace of what resembled a "father".

I guess he's dead. Wait... a skin disease?

"He used to tell me that, unlike an ordinary person, the sun didn't cause him any harm, on the contrary, it brought him peace and benefited his skin, hahaha."

That calmed my panic. Such an illness would be no laughing matter if it had been the cause of his departure.

"Theeeeen, let's go there to train your Quirk, because you will surely want to show it off to your friends."
