Shido was all ready to leave for America. Inside his house, Fuyumi and Himiko were standing near the door with Shido for saying goodbyes and all.

Shido wearing casual clothes, had Himiko sitting on his shoulder.

"I took a week-long leave from the school so I can take care of the girls better. I think it will be a good chance to spend time with them." Fuyumi said and caressed Himiko's head. But she was a bit sad and a bit happy. happy because she now can spend time with the girls.

And sad for two reasons. First that Shido will not be with her for a week and Second that the family time that she spent the last week came to an end.

Fuyumi just loved that monotonous life that she lived in the past week. She was like the working mother, Shido was the househusband and Eri and Himiko were the kids. She enjoyed that life where everything was within her reach. The kids, Shido. But all that now came to an end. What can she do when an International Organization is threatening to attack her 'husband.' So this was important and she agreed to Shido's trip to America.

After that Shido didn't say anything about leaving anymore, but he was waiting for someone,

"Where is Eri?" He asked then he heard loud footsteps. He turned around and saw Eri sprinting towards him with full speed. She quickly hugged Shido's legs,

"Please take me with you!!!" She exclaimed loudly. She had an anxious expression on her face.

"What happened Eri? You okay?" Shido asked Eri.

"Everything is okay... But please take me with you."

I passed Himiko over to Fuyumi and crouched down so that my head and Eri's head are at the same level.

"Tell me what happened?"

"...Nothing..."

Shido was a bit confused why Eri was acting like this. But after some thought, he may have understood the reason behind Eri's different behavior. Maybe she wanted to go to Disneyland or she doesn't want to live with Himiko in the same room.

'I need to resolve this distance between Eri and Himiko which is solely made by Eri as Himiko tried several times to communicate with her but Eri just ignores her. I will focus on this after the mission.'

Shido put his hand on Eri's head and then caressed it.

"Didn't I told you I will be on a World Saving Mission? So like James Bond, I will be constantly fighting the bad guys or try to find them and will have no time to spend with you. You will have to constantly stay inside some house in hiding. You won't like it right?"

Eri shook her head,

"Also the Bad Guy takes the Hero's loved ones as a hostage and hurts them. So they will target you and then through you they will target family members and I won't like that.

So here's the deal. Let me finish this mission and then we will go for a vacation. So for this time, I will go alone. But I promise that we will go wherever you want when we are on a vacation. Deal?" Shido said and extended his pinky finger towards Eri.

Eri stretched her hand with the pinky finger raised. Both of them did a pinky promise.

"Deal..." Eri said but she was looking down.

"What about me?" Himiko asked.

"Yeah. You too can add wherever you want to go in the list," Shido said and made a pinky promise with Himiko.

Now was the time to leave.

Shido stood near the main gate. Fuyumi and the kids stood next to him. Himiko was as always smiling but Eri was still sad.

"Now, Smile will ya. Or do you want me to feel guilty to leave you behind, the whole mission?" Shido said to Eri, and a small smile appeared on her face.

Seeing her smile, Shido smiled back and his Night Slash covered him.

Shido was standing in front of La Brava, Danjuro, and Kaina in a very large clearing inside a forest (Lady Nagant's name is now Kaina as the canon MHA gave her a name now. Kaina Tsutsumi. So I have changed her name from Akane to Kaina in the fic too.)

"Everyone's ready?"

All of them nodded, so he waved his hand and a Rancher appeared from the Inventory. The three teammates looked at this scene without any surprise. Their boss has been doing things like this since the first day, they don't care anymore. But aside from surprise, a question appeared in their mind.

So Danjuro took the initiative on behalf of others and asked me,

Once everybody was in, Shido took the driver's seat and put on the seat belt.

"Okay. Now quickly put on your seatbelts. Check that all the windows are closely packed and grab the handles above the door. Quick." Shido gave a set of instructions to the team members.

"But Why?" Kaina who was sitting beside Shido asked.

"Because the take-off will be rough," Shido said and pushed the accelerator with full force.

The car started running...

"What are you talking ab.." Kaina's question got stuck in her mouth as she saw trees in the car's way.

"What are you doing? Turn to a side or stop the car!!!" Kaina shouted.

"I am Gaining Speed..." Shido said but his concentration was on the front of the car. His hands started fusing with the steering wheel but Kaina didn't notice as she was in a panic.

"For what??!!" Kaina asked.

"FOR THIS!!!" Shido shouted in excitement,

The car took off the ground and started ascending in height. In just a couple of minutes, the car has reached the height where the planes usually fly, the lower Stratosphere and the thing was that no one was able to see this car as it was under the 'Presence Conceal' cheat's effect. And the Semi-Infinite Health cheat was used to let the car stay in shape even under harsh conditions like high pressure, etc.

But flying at this altitude was dangerous as Shido has no radar, so he won't know when there will be a plane that may suddenly show up in this dark night sky. So he lowered the altitude to such that it was way higher than any skyscraper but way lower than the usual.

La Brava and Danjuro were watching the scenery outside the car window with an exciting look. The cities, towns, villages were all covered in the darkness of the night but the light coming from the houses, lamposts, neon lights fought the darkness back. Truly a mesmerizing scene.

"What is it, Kaina? Something on your mind?" Shido asked Kaina who instead of looking at the scenery outside the window, was looking at him with an intrigued expression on her face.

"How are you able to do so many things which are completely out of imagination?" Kaina asked Shido to which he only snickered.

"Like?" He asked Kaina, trying to mess with her.

"Like bringing things out of nowhere, breaking into Tartarus without being noticed by a single detection system, making this car fly, having a high-tech Jetpack, having a portable arsenal of weapons, knowing about the dark secrets of HPSC and me. How?"

"Anything else you want to add?" Shido asked Kaina if she wanted to add anything to the list.

"You can do more?" Kaina was surprised.

"Look..." Shido motioned her to look in the front.

Kaina looked at the front and she saw the ocean. The car has already left mainland Japan and now is above the Ocean.

"This car... it's flying at... Mach Speed or above. But how? The highest speed the flying cars have achieved is 0.75-0.8 Mach." Kaina asked in sheer surprise.

"Yeah... Now we have a high-speed transportation vehicle and it can do this..." Shido pushed the steering down, with that the car started descending the altitude way too fast.

The effects also started to show for the passengers. They were pushed back in their seats.

"CHIEF!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!!!" La Brava who was enjoying the outside scenery a moment ago, was now shouting at Shido. But the 'Chief' was not paying attention because,

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Shido was laughing hysterically as the car was descending the altitude at an alarming rate. It seems he was enjoying it.

The car now was just above some tens of meters above the seawater.

The tires turned which made the rim become horizontal from vertical and kept rotating. The Car landed on the sea without sinking instead, it floated like a boat.

'Feels good to do things in real life that I did in the games back then. Hahaha,' Shido thought and then turned back to take some feedback from his teammates.

"So how was it? This car can do road, air and water travel. Convenient isn't it?" But he found his answer soon.

La Brava was busy puking with her head out the window. Danjuro who was okay was stroking her back and Kaina with disheavled hair, was glaring at Shido.

After some time, La Brava was okay. Shido started the engine again and drived the car slowly on the ocean.

"You all okay?"

"Yeah... But please never do that again..." La Brava replied weakly.

Shido who had Barrel Roll and other aerial maneuvers in his mind to do after this, silently drived the car without saying anything. The car then again took off and reached the altitude safe for flying the car.

'It was fun. Next time I will do it alone.'

"Add making this car run on water to the list. Tell me how are you doing this. If you say this is your quirk it doesn't make any sense." Kaina asked Shido impatiently.

"Why do you want to know? Only interest or you are doing some investigation on me..." Shido asked Kaina in a threatening tone, which made her shiver. La Brava and Danjuro only listened to what was happening but didn't participated in it.

"No... Not an investigation. I was just asking as nobody asked you about how you are doing all this."

"Good. Let it stay that way. I won't answer your question and I want you to stop looking for any answer either. Okay?"

"Hmm..." Kaina slowly nodded her head and looked outside the window.

"Okay. Since the things are clear, tell me whenever you guys need to use bathroom, I will land the car on an island. I do have a portable toilet that I can bring out anytime. No need to be shy and hold it in, Because this is going to be a long~ flight."

Nobody asked why he is carrying a portable toilet with him, they just minded their own business. But Danjuro was having something else on his mind.

'Should I tell Chief that Kaina is investigating about some Shido behind our back or not. But Oguro-san said it will create trust issues in the team...'

After thinking about it for some minutes,

'I don't think I should say anything. Oguro-san is right. And she is finding some unknown guy. Why does it even matter to us.'

"Hello."

But no reply came.

"Hello... Old Man" Shido called Knuckleduster again.
