Alex was intrigued by Hydra, the formidable villain organization in the Marvel universe. He learned that its reach was vast, infiltrating the official organizations of many countries, including the Paris Police Department in France, which was led by a pawn that Hydra had groomed since childhood, Laurent.
Alexander Pierce, the former director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and current member of the World Security Council, was the head of the most powerful and well-developed branch of Hydra in the United States. However, it was unknown which branch of Hydra was responsible for France.
"What did Hydra want from you?" asked Alex.
"They offered to help with my next task, but it's unclear how they found out about it," replied Laurent, the head of the Paris Police Department. "It's probably because my position has risen, which benefits their plans."
Alex nodded, understanding the situation. "What do you think?"
"It depends on your commands, Chief Fury," said Laurent, still remembering Alex's previous title. "Your decision will determine my actions."
"Exposing Hydra may be difficult without solid evidence," warned Alex.
"And there's no need to take that risk now. We'll keep the existence of Hydra as our trump card for the future." Alex said in Fury's voice.
With a sly grin, Alex had a sudden idea. "Just before you're about to give a speech, call me using your usual mobile phone. Remember to say,
'Chief Ferry, I'm almost done with everything you told me to do, and now I'm going to execute the last part of the plan.' After that, I will answer by saying 'OK' and hanging up. The rest should be taken care of by you."
Laurent nodded, eager to be a part of the plan his master had created.
The idea of outsmarting Hydra was thrilling to Alex. He envisioned a well-orchestrated event that would bring him great joy and satisfaction while creating massive pain-in-the-ass problems for others.
He can't object to Alex's commands. Even if Alex plans to let him die, he will do it without hesitation. Alex shuddered excitedly at this thought as he considered the horror of modifying someone's attributes and thus changing their personality.
"As long as I want to, he can do anything I want if I have enough crystals," he thought.
"No matter how beautiful a woman is, no matter how smart a person is, they can easily fall under my spell." He thought.
"Dong dong dong!" There was a knock at the door.
"Please come in," Alex called out.
Brian entered the room, furrowing his brow in concern. One last time, he attempted to persuade Alex to reconsider his plan.
"Your plan... isn't the scale a bit too big?"
But Alex shook his head.
"You see, it's easier to access information in the information age, but this information is screened. I am just giving them the raw truth. That's all," Alex explained.
"But how does it affect you," Brian pointed out. Alex got up, walked to the window, and looked outside.
"That's true, but I intend to end it and bring out the truth," Alex said with a shrug.
But what Brian doesn't know is that Alex is not doing it for others but to fish in the muddy water when the chaos breaks loose.
The more chaos there is, the more attention it will draw. More attention will lead to many agents and spies of top caliber flocking to Paris. And Alex had his eyes on these to tier spies. He will convert them into his loyal minions.
Chaos is the key to gathering such elites in a single place. If not, Alex doesn't know how long it will take for him to track them down one by one.
"So, when will you start?" Brian asked, eager to move on. Alex looked out the window at a pigeon flying by and smiled.
"Don't worry," he said, "Let the storm of public opinion brew for a while."

"Inhuman massacre, the devil from hell!" "
"Two policemen died. Police Chief Laurent announced that he must find the real culprit behind the scenes! "
"In just three days, more than 50 people were killed. So far, no suspects have been arrested. France has been nailed to the pillar of shame!" "
"Romance will never change until death, and justice will never cease until death!" "
"The heart of justice is still there, people. Use our strength!"

These are just some of the most apparent headlines seen in a large number of newspapers.
A few days passed, and news reports, newspapers, and radio stations, all the things that happened in the past few days, were flooding the French people. The arrest warrants for Brian and Alex also appeared everywhere. Of course, they were hand-painted portraits, and the similarity is not high, resulting in no good news.
After all, the two had never appeared under any surveillance, and the only people who saw their faces alive were the "customers" at the construction site.
The tiredness they had after the deed and the mood swings from extreme pleasure to extreme fear at the time all affected how they described the culprits to the police later. So there was o consistency in their statements.
And Sam, who knew Brian's identity and had seen Alex's face, was already turned into a loyal subordinate of Alex. So, of course, he couldn't leak any information regarding Alex or Brian to others.
Even if Sam didn't want to conceal Brians's real identity, he couldn't directly disclose it. In that case, the matter would inevitably become an international-level mess involving the C.I.A. and the United States. And as such, it was prohibited by his higher-ups.
Therefore, the police envelopes Brian's identity in a shroud of mystery. No information about him was made public. In the case of Alex, even the police didn't have a clue other than him being a male.
But this lack of evidence aroused the masses' anger, just like the higher-ups planned.
So, after a few days of fermenting the overwhelming information bombardment. Under the leadership and organization of several "leaders," the people who were filled with righteous indignation and the "people" who received cash spontaneously took to the streets.
A grand parade unfolds.
They are demonstrating and marching, demanding that the authorities catch the murderer and give them a peaceful, beautiful, and free death. The masses think that they decided to do all this. Oblivious to how wrong they are.
"Everything is going according to plan." Alex looked at the bustling crowd on the street with a confident and indifferent expression on his face.
"Let the games begin," he said as an evil smile crept to his lips.
