Awakening

"I always wanted to be someone, but in this world, I was lucky because I'm a human with an aura, but I haven't awakened it yet. So my wish to be someone was just a dream, but everything changed on the day of my eighteenth birthday.

Luke's dream: Dark storms over the city, an eye appears in the sky! You who are destined to be mes... Luke wakes up.

"Luke, get up, you're going to be late for school," his mother's voice echoes.

"Ehmmm, what, what's going on?" Luke looks around confusedly.

"Luke, that's enough that you woke up," his sister Charlotte enters the room. "Happy birthday, little bro, you're an adult now. Hope you find a charming wife, but I have to approve her for you."

Luke looks angrily at Charlotte. She knew his age too well.

"Hmm, unlike my stupid brother, I'm popular at our school. While you, average looks, grades, and haven't awakened an aura."

"True, my sister Charlotte is one of the few in the first year who managed to awaken the Divinity aura, the Angelic Aura. Maybe they call her an angel because of her appearance."

Luke, what about Elara? You've been with her since the preparatory courses. I know you have feelings for her," Charlotte says. 

"Elara, my childhood friend. We promised to always protect each other, but she stopped looking at me six months ago when I didn't awaken my aura. She must think I didn't take our promise seriously. It hurt to see her disappointed face, how she looks at me with disappointment, surrounded by her friends, and only hearing the words: 'This is the one who's supposed to protect you? Are you kidding me? He doesn't even have an aura, he can't even protect himself!'

"And THAT'S ENOUGH!"

I'm sorry, Char, I didn't mean it like that, I just don't talk about it well."

"I understand, bro, you always have me to rely on," Charlotte smiles."Mom, that's enough, you two, we need to have breakfast."

"Okay, mom."

"Luke, I'll leave first."

"I'm alone now with my thoughts. I'm more interested in what that dream was about. I've never had anything like that happen before. Oh well, I'm thinking about it too much."

"Hello."

"Yes, can I help you?" a beautiful elf woman appears in front of him.

"Can I ask, I'm new here and I don't know much about this place. But you have the same uniform as me. So I wanted to ask, which way should I go?"

"Luke, haha. What's funny? Come with me, I'll show you the way out."

"Thank you. By the way, my name is Caelina, but you can call me Caeli, hehe."

"My name is Luke, nice to meet you, Caeli."

"Shall we go?"

"Yes, let's go, Caeli," Luke smiles.

"Ehhh, another day here. But no, I see Belza over there. He always made fun of me for not having an aura."

"Belza, aaah, our zero has arrived on the scene," someone says.

"Will it be another day, Luke? More crying in the corner because Elara will protect you? NO! SHE GAVE UP ON YOU, LIKE EVERYONE ELSE! LIKE YOUR FATHER!"

"AND THAT'S ENOUGH!" Luke exclaims.

"What are you? Why insult Luke? He's a kind person," says Caeli.

"And you, who are you? You must be new if you don't know who this person is. He's the only one in our class who hasn't awakened his aura," Belza announces.

Meanwhile, Luke: I hate him. Why am I the only one without an aura? Why, why, why, why?

In his mind, where it's black, a red flying light appears.

"Do you want power?" a voice says.

"Who's speaking?" Luke asks.

"You can finally hear me. Listen, I don't have much time, but now you'll see who you truly are thanks to your power. But you have to awaken it. This power isn't a typical aura. I can't explain why, but someone sealed me inside you to help you awaken it."

"I understand. You have a lot of questions now. If you get further with your power, we can talk longer. The trigger for your power is emotions!"

"Ehm, what kind of emotions, what kind of power? Who are you?"

"Weird, I feel an enormous power from him, more than from everyone else here at the school grounds. How come he hasn't awakened his aura?"

A black substance starts to appear around Luke.

"What's this?" Belza panics.

"I don't know," Caeli says.

The substance envelops Luke.

"Principal Jackson, run away, now!"

"What?"

An area around Luke explodes.

"WHO ARE YOU?" Caeli asks quietly.
