Amelia dashed forward, raised her blade, and slashed down with impeccable precision. Her opponent, a masked woman wielding two daggers, staggered as she deflected with her weapons.
This was an opportunity Amelia did not plan on losing. Bolting toward her opponent, she slammed her knees into the woman's abdomen and delivered the finishing blow with a horizontal slash.
Blood spurted like a geyser, and the woman fell to the ground as her masked head rolled away.
Her blue eyes dilated when the steadily rising sound of an energy rifle slithered into her ears. Amelia did not see the need to turn when she could already speculate that two individuals wielding energy rifles were beside her.
Bang! Bang!
Following the gunshot were the explosions of both guard's heads. "Watch your back." Angel's voice rang from the comm and Amelia's lips curled.
