PART 2. Chapter 1: We're married!

"Welcome home. Madame Alexander." Joseph bowed respectfully. He respectfully opened the front door for Roxanne to step in. As soon as the door opened, two maids rushed out, taking her luggage from her.

"Thank y-." Before Roxanne had finished her words, the maids were already out of sight. It was a busy day.

It has been two weeks since the airport fiasco. And Roxanne finally, after series of pleas and requests from both Andrew and his sister, agreed to move into Ethan's estate. Roxanne had not the slightest idea of what it took to be someone's wife. This was a kind of trial for her. Andrew had promised her that in exchange for playing the role of his wife, Ethan had pledge to commence the procedures towards their marriage dissolution, however they could only get divorced after a year of living together. After that, Ethan would give Roxanne a huge compensation for her year spent.

"Madame follow me." Joseph led Roxanne inside. It was her first time in the mansion, she took in everything with wide eyes. The house was like nothing she had ever seen. The design and decor of the mansion's interior was lush and extravagant; typical of Ethan. "This way." Joseph held unto her hand and took her to the third floor of the house.

This floor was quiet and poorly illuminated. This was how Ethan preferred it. Rows of vase plants lined this floor's hallway. Joseph led Roxanne until they stopped Infront of a wooden double door. He turned the knob, opening the room. "This is were you'll be staying Madame. The boss isn't home. Feel free to make yourself at home until he gets back." Joseph stated before turning to leave.

"Thank you." Roxanne bowed respectfully. The room was a lot to take in. Suddenly it hit her. "Wait. Wait. Please!" She panicked.

"Huh?"

"Um.." Roxanne fidgeted as she slowly approached Joseph. "Does that mean I'll be sharing this room with Sir?" She gulped. She remembered when Annie told her that married couples shared a room together. But she and Ethan weren't technically a couple. They were a trial run! They shouldn't have to stay together. Right?

"Um. Well. Yes madam." Joseph gave an obvious answer.

"Can't i get another room?" She squeaked. This was not part of what she had discussed with Annie. Noone mentioned this!

"You'll have to request that from Sir yourself Miss. If you'll excuse me."Joseph quickly exited before Roxanne could ask him any further questions.

"Request myself?" Roxanne sighed. It would be a while before Ethan returned. According to the maids, he usually came home late at night. That just meant Roxanne would have to make herself comfortable for the time being.

Roxanne decided to take a look around the large room. She couldn't believe Ethan shared this huge space with no one. She dragged her luggage then placed it in the walk-in closet. She spent some time in the closet. Roxanne was rather impressed with Ethan's collection of Italian shoes and suits. Everything was property arranged in order of color tone. From darkest shade to the lightest. It made the closet look like a rainbow of grey's and hues.

After inspecting the room, Roxanne felt rather tired and decided to take a nap on the soft bed. She managed to sleep for an hour before she woke abruptly.

"Sticky." She felt her skin with her fingers. Roxanne looked to the clock, it was eight o'clock. She heaved a sigh of relief. She still had enough time before Ethan got back so she decided to take a bath. She immediately discarded her clothing on the floor and rushed into the bathroom.

In the bathroom, there were collections of sweetly scented shampoos and bathing soaps on the bathroom shelves. Each had its own distinct fragrance; lillies, roses, cherry blossoms. It was like a bouquet. Roxanne remembered when Joseph told her Ethan had ordered them to prepare for her stay at the mansion. This collections were probably part of the arrangements made for her. Why else will Ethan have such a girly collection.

Unable to decide which one to use, Roxanne took a handful of them into the shower with her. She was going to experiment!

This was the first time in a while that Roxanne didn't have to wait for the shower to run. She turned on the shower and enjoyed her warm bath. 'Maybe this marriage thing might not be so bad.' She though as she scrubbed down her exterior.

"Welcome Sir." The maids bowed respectfully as they took Ethan's coat.

"Where is she?" He turned to Joseph. The meetings he had ended early therefore, Ethan decided to come home earlier than usual.

"Upstairs Sir. She had requested for her own room."Joseph informed him.

"I see." Ethan made his way upstairs, on his way, he thought of the first thing to say to Roxanne when he saw her. The last time he saw her was at the hospital, since then, he didn't care to check up on her. He finally arrived at his room's door. He took in a deep breath before stepping in.

"I heard you requested..." Ethan choked on his words. The first thing he saw was two butt cheeks. A naked woman was in his room.
