Lin Xue Looking for Trouble

Lin Ran did not expect Auntie Liu to stand up for her. She said gratefully, "Auntie Liu, thank you!"

"Don't stand on ceremony. If anyone bullies you in the future, just tell me. I will help you reprimand them."

"Okay!" Lin Ran nodded. She felt that although Auntie Liu was gossipy, she was a good person. She decided if anything happened to Auntie Liu in the future, she had to help.

After returning to the village, Lin Ran gave the money to Uncle Wang Gen and went home with the basket. Since she had to pass by the Lin family on her way home, she was unexpectedly seen by Lin Xue as she sunbathed in the courtyard.

Seeing Lin Ran carrying a basket full of things, fury rose in Lin Xue's heart. She chased after Lin Ran from the courtyard and shouted at her, "Lin Ran, stop!"

Lin Ran stopped and turned to look at Lin Xue. She asked coldly, "What's the matter?"

"Did you buy something?" Lin Xue's gaze fell on Lin Ran's basket. She wondered where Lin Ran got the money to buy so many things.

"What does it have to do with you whether I buy anything or not?" Lin Ran's expression turned dark. Lin Xue was too nosy. In the past, when Lin Ran lived in the Lin family, she could not do anything to Lin Xue. Now, she was not going to let Lin Xue get away with this.

"Where did you get the money?"

"It's none of your business." Lin Ran was very unhappy. Her money was none of Lin Xue's business.

When Lin Ran refused to tell Lin Xue, her expression became even uglier. She said, "I know even if you don't say it. My brother and father gave you the money, right?"
