Chapter Sixty-Five

"Who's home?"Samael asked, walking into the living room with Charlotte behind him.

"Were are you guys coming from?"Jason challenged them immediately they shut the door.

"Anywhere"Charlotte replied.

Diverting the question,as she walks straight to her room.

"Dinner is ready guys!"Sharon shouted, walking out of the kitchen with Aiden the both of them in chefs aprons.

"You are back?"Aiden asked, spotting Samael that was still standing on the same spot.

"Hmm."He nods his head.

"What about Charlotte?"Sharon asked, pulling off the apron.

"Am back also."Charlotte responded, stepping out of her room.

"I'm sorry about the dinner,we rushed to check something out. I got no idea that will be very late."

"No cramps. I already made dinner."Sharon replied.

"Barrett and Mitchell?"Samael asked directly.

"They came back few minutes ago."Aiden responded

The dinner was as quite as never before,only the sound of clashing dish and cutleries makes noise and muted sound.

"Nice meal."Mitchell said, breaking the thirty minutes silence.

"Guys,I don't think we should avoid this important topic."Frederic stated.

"Which is?"Samael asked; surprised by his words.

"We haven't been making any progress for the pass one week."Frederic said, feeling fed up by the whole mess.

" What can we do about that?is not like we are not trying our possible best."Charlotte said.

" We need more work force,the eight of us are not enough to cover all the barren land of Devon."Frederic said, backing up his point.

" Enough Frederic!you know that's not possible,I can't call the boss and request for more people. This is an hidden mission that we got to Carry out on our own,if that was a problem for you then you should never volunteer for this."Samael said,there was no smile on his face,his face was cold as ever and they all knew he was getting angry.

" Samael is right;our contract is for a month we still have plenty of time, let's not be discouraged."Aiden supported Samael speech.

" I got something to say also."Sharon said biting her lower lips as she paused her speech.

" Let's hear it "Samael said.
