CHAPTER 35 The Curse
Aurora's POV
We had been on the road for another full day, and along the way, Edsel had been complaining that our group was slowing him down. But there was nothing we could do about it. Even though there were just a few of us, we still had to be careful with the exotic beasts we brought along, which were still infants and couldn't withstand the bumps on the road.
Edsel was more interested in his potions than the beasts. After hearing my explanation, he quickly compromised. However, although he stopped complaining, he still seemed impatient.
It wasn't until the next day that we understood why he was impatient.
It was the night of the full moon. Wolves find it harder to suppress their power and become extremely irritable and uncontrollable.
But after so many years, the wolf tribes had evolved. Now only the full moon gave them the feeling of boiling blood, but they still kept control.
