Tristan's point of view:
It's already a week since she left the pack, and I feel like sh*t.
Among all creatures in the world, she has to be my destined mate. Not only a vampire but the daughter of the one who killed my father.
"She's innocent! Our mate is innocent!" My wolf, Rage, shouted inside of my mind as he'd always done whenever I started thinking about our mate.
"She is, and I know that! But that doesn't change the truth that her father is the one who killed mine!"
"She's not her father, and it's not fair to blame her for what she didn't do!" Rage defended her, but I snapped at him.
"Yes, she didn't, I agree. But would you think for a while that she'll be happy to love us after we kill her father!" I tried to knock some sense inside of his empty head, but it worked for nothing.
"Then let's not! Why shall we kill him, anyway? Not that it would bring back your father!"
