Chapter 12: When will you rejected me, Mate?

       He didn't just say that!

   He didn't just ask his guards to take a man to where I have no idea after telling him that he would never be able to use his eyes again. I know he is my mate but I now see how the rumors of him are through.

    I once heard he took an Omega that once made him the wrong tea and never to be seen again. This happened just a year ago, I know the omega too and by now, his blood should be getting forgotten and this bone probably resting for reincarnation.

        I looked around to see wolves now paying attention like we are the star of this show, even Alpha Brook won't be happy about us clashing his ball

     Moving backward is the only thing that comes to my mind and that is what I began to do. Maybe I can get mixed with the crowds and escape this time for good.  Now I regret ever coming to look for Delta Axon, Jasper won't have gotten into this mess even if I feel like he deserves it in some kind of way.

      Alpha Rex's gaze was fixed on mine and I couldn't tell if he is mad at me or just generally mad. His jaw clenched as I saw his jaw bone move. His claws slowly moved out but soon vanished as I watched him clench his fist.

    His claws dug into his flesh as I perceive his blood.

     'Get back here, Rain' I heard Alpha Rex's voice in my head.

     Not today!

  At least let today be the first day in my life as I am going to disobey someone. I am going to disobey a ruthless Alpha who never gives anyone a second chance.

     He is my mate, right? I know he doesn't want me, does that mean he might kill me?

   From the corner of my eyes, I found a place with fewer people as before I could dash towards there, I felt like being lifted. My empty stomach hit the person's hard shoulder and I groaned in pain.

     "I am sorry," the person said.

   Wait a minute! Is that hawk?

   Since I now have my sense of smell, sniffing the hell off the person till I confirm him to be Hawk wasn't hard at all. In fact, it became one of the easiest and fastest things I have ever done in my life.

     Too bad I am at the point of death and all I could think of is sniffing Hawk's back.

    "Please let me go" I whispered.

  He didn't pay attention as he began to walk towards the entrance. Since my face was facing his waist, the only thing I could notice was the unfair whispers from wolves we pass.

     'She deserves it'

   'Such a shame, she finally got to go with an Alpha that is if she doesn't die on her way'.

    No one spoke about my hard work, no one spoke about how I don't sleep to make sure I get things in order. I can't tell if they are scared but I didn't hear any worried remarks about my safety or how I might have lived a happy life.

    All I heard was normal chatting, people chewing noisily, people flirting, and awful remarks about me.

     Is it that bad to be an omega?

  I never created myself! The moon goddess didn't create me to suffer and die in the hands of my crew mate.

     'You don't think he will kill us' Ashina whines 'She what you have caused! You have pissed out mate'.

    Is she serious?

Is she totally normal because I don't see anything or anyone that would still care about their mate even when he obviously doesn't want them. I haven't heard of anyone that would want to keep their mate.

    It's a do-or-die matter and that made me try to do something I haven't thought about in my life.

    I don't know how I did it before but I want to try it again. Closing my eyes as I tried to shift but nothing happened.

    "You have to do something Ashina" I half yelled "Please do something".

     Groaning in raw frustration as I gnashed my teeth, I clenched my fists and tried again but nothing, in fact, I couldn't feel my wolf at all and it hurts. So if everyone would abandon me, Ashina too would?

    In anger, I growled. That's a start and I will shift even if Ashina does not want it.

     'If I were you, I won't do that' Alpha Rex said in my head 'I won't try to shift'.

    I noticed Hawk stopped walking and before I could get to think of what might happen to me next, He dropped me.

    "I am sure you have your things ready" Alpha Rex walked past me "Because you are leaving now".

    I shivered.

Turning around I noticed we have walked far from the hall. The streets seem dry except for three significant faces. The guards standing behind weren't that much of an issue but these three faces, show nothing like remorse or pity.

     "It's such an honor to have you today, Alpha Rex" Alpha Jaxon soad with a small smile on his face "I hope Rain gives you what you want".

     What does he want? What the hell do they take me for?

    My lips quivered but I refuse to cry, not when my eyes were fixed on Delta Axon. His hands were folded across his chest as stood behind the Alpha and winked his left eye at me.

    He had no sign of remorse! Not even for the fact that he betrayed me, his ex-friend.

      I felt a small touch on my back followed by a slight push. Looking back at Hawk who had done that, I didn't expect to see his hands behind him as he slightly bowed.

     "I am sorry Rain, please move forward" Hawk muttered.

     Is he trying to be nice when I am in hell? This can't be possible!

    Silently following Alpha Rec with Hawk walking behind, I heard extra footsteps. That's odd because I am sure the three guards that came with us are now waiting in front of us with the car door open. So the question is, who the hell are they?

     "I know it's not my position to ask, Alpha Rex, please, can you pardon Rain?".

    I know it's him, his voice.

  Watching how Alpha Rex slowly turns around to glare at him seems more cringy than telling me to shift two months ago. You know I definitely will not do it why still ask.

     "Congratulations on finding your Luna, Alpha Brook," Alpha Rex said instead  "And I hope your levy for this month won't be delayed as the last one same as the next".

    With my mouth open, I stared at Alpha Brook then his father. Alpha Jaxon looks calm d peaceful, the problem is why does Alpha Brook now seem so concerned about me? It's obvious that he is asking my mate to leave me but why is my mate not letting the know that I am his mate.

      Turning back and resuming our walk till I entered the back seat, I sat at the back with Alpha Rex beside me. His face held no emotions, just silent but there was one thing in my mind to say.

       "When will you reject me?" I blurted out.
