The Missing Heroes / Encounter

Daniel was horrified. He went into the other room of the training hall. Daniel could see the place was wrecked. When he entered the room, he saw Igor, Alicia, Catherine, Igor and Myra sitting at the walls. A few of the other students were sitting around the edge. He walked up to the other heroes.

Daniel realised they were crying. "Where are the others..." he asked. But he didn't get a response. Catherine looked up from her misery. "They're gone..." she whispered. Daniel didn't understand. "Where?" Daniel asked. "Daniel, we don't know" Alicia said quietly. "While you were playing with that girl over there, we were trying to survive. And then we fainted because we used too much power at once. And they were gone. They were kidnapped. I know it... ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!" shouted Catherine. Daniel had never seen Catherine so mad before. She was always the one trying to keep the situation under control.

Daniel was offended. Well how am I supposed to know that random guy is going to walk in and take our friends" Daniel retorted, glaring at the students at the training centre. "Stop the fighting" you two" said Igor. He got up and walked away.

"We need to find them" Daniel said confidently. He was worried about the missing heroes. He wondered where Dennis and the others were ok. He hoped they were ok. Daniel thought Dennis will deal with it. But Daniel had an uncertainty that they weren't ok. But Daniel needed to believe in them.

"And how are we supposed to do that?" Catherine said, an angry look in her eyes, she was glaring at him. "We'll find them, nom matter what" Daniel said confidently. He stood up and walked outside. As he did so, a faint aura followed him, but Daniel didn't notice. But someone else did. The man that gave him Sciodes and the one who saved his life throughout the Quest was standing behind a tree, watching Daniel's every move.

'I'm impressed, he is getting stronger' he thought to himself. Daniel didn't see him. Daniel kept on walking, down a path that wasn't there before. It was created by the mysterious man. Daniel was unaware of where he was going, deep in thought, angry at Catherine.

After quite a while, Daniel realised he was lost. He looked around but he didn't see anything that seemed familiar. He saw a faint blue light at the edge of the forest. He walked towards it. The heat increased as he went further and further down the track. The heat was a warming sensation at first, but the heat increased into a heatwave the closer he got. He shielded his eyes and stopped a few feet away from the light.

There, the light formed into the shape of a man. He looked like a ghost. Daniel recognised him immediately. "It's you" Daniel said smiling. He was greatful for all the times he saved him on his Quest. "I never got the chance to thank you..." Daniel continued. The man smiled. "I hope you succeed on your Quest, Daniel" he said, the smile still on his face.

The man handed Daniel a purple Jade like rock. "If you ever need my help, just concentrate on the stone" he said. Daniel didn't know what he meant by that, but he thanked him anyway. "Hey, I never got to know your name" Daniel said. "You shall know soon..." he said. The hologram type ghost of the man started to flicker. "One more thing" he said. "Don't worry about finding you friends. They are safe. You will see them at the tower. Convince the others to follow the shadow path..." he said. "Stay safe Daniel, I will always be with you..." he said and a light started to appear around him. "But how do I..." Daniel started but he couldn't finish the sentence. The blinding light and heat made him faint...
