Volume 4 Episode 3: The Bitter Truth

The big guy was still up in the air for a second. Then, his body froze and went rigid, as it exploded like a balloon, spraying blood all over the bar, as Lin landed gently on the ground, with a certain elegance that almost made people forget that he was the one who took the other man's life right now.

Game over.

The bar went silent. No sound, except ragged breathing. The air was full of dust and the stink of blood and vomit.

Lin let go of his swords and it disappeared without a trace. He then turned towards the bartender, who was startled by his gaze. He walked towards him, and tapped the table as he smiled innocently.

"So, are you going to tell me about the apartment or not?"

"..." The bartender hadn't moved.

Lin looked him in the eye and said, "Oh! And I'll have that beer now!"
