10. The Nexus Hall

Okay...so no one voted for him not getting his memory back..lol

I wanted to make this little trip in 3-4 chapters but decided against it as I want him to start his adventure in the wizarding world as soon as possible so I made all this in a single somewhat lengthy (at least according to me) chapter.

You may find this chapter somewhat boring+unreasonable+many things more but well whatever.

As always if you guys find any mistake please mention them in comment.

While Joanne and the Ancient One were discussing the mysteries of the world and a little kid, that same kid was going through something they would have never expected in their life.

After 'popping' away from the Dursley's house Harry found himself in a dark place. Just when he was about to start panicking he heard a voice and saw some words appeared floating in front of him.

[Skill Upgraded]

[Due to the mutation of the skill and Champion's soul being injured, Past Life memories have been erased]

[Memory skill upgraded to a Grade S Unnamed Skill]

Reading those lines before he could even think about what was going on he felt a great amount of pain in his head.

The pain kept increasing with each passing second while the same voice kept ringing in his head.

[Passive Powers: Eidetic Memory, Perfect Comprehension, High-level Mind Protection, Soul growth.]

With the disappearance of the voice in his head, the pain also disappeared. When Harry finally felt relaxed after all this he found that he was somewhere totally unknown.

Standing in front of a majestic white building touching the clouds he was shocked. The building was so huge that he thought that even some mountains he saw on television might be small in comparison to it. On the to[ pf the building "NEXUS HALL" was written in black. When he checked his surroundings his shock amplified.

He saw many people of different kinds, some short, some huge, some had animal features while some were unexplainable to the young Harry.

"Am I dreaming?" muttered Harry as he kept watching people, some alone and some in a group of two or more walking in and out of the building.

"No, you are not" replied a voice behind him.

Turning around he saw an extremely beautiful girl standing, looking at him confused.

Seeing such a beautiful girl Harry subconsciously said "Big Sister you're so beautiful."

Being praised, the girl was extremely pleased as she smiled and said "We meet again Henry. How did you get here at Nexus Island?"

Turning around and checking his surroundings he found that no one was there. Confused, he asked "Big Sister, who are you talking with? I don't see anyone here."

"Of Course, I'm talking with you. Don't play these stupid games with me Henry. Tell me how did you get here?"

"Big Sister, I think you got something wrong here, my name is Harry, not Henri" Replied Little Harry meekly, taking a step back as he saw the girl getting angry.

"I said don't play with me. If you won't tell me seriously about how you came here I won't allow you to get the Nexus Badge. Humph" said the little girl as she approached Harry with an angry face.

Seeing her coming towards him, Harry panicked as he turned around and ran. Just as he took two steps he found that he lost control over his body and was rising above the ground.

Just as he was about to shout for help in fear he heard a female voice other than the beautiful girl he saw just now "There is a problem with his soul."

Hearing the voice the little girl turned around and was surprised to find her big sister standing behind her frowning. "Big Sister, when did you come here?"

Hearing her little sister's question the beautiful woman smiled and said "My Little Nia just left her training room and left the palace without even seeing me. I was just curious so I followed."

"Hehe. Big Sister I just sensed my divinity and was shocked so I came to check."

"I can see that clearly."

"By the way, big sister, what did you just say about his soul just now?" asked the little girl now identified as Nia or Naomi.

"This is not the place to talk about. I am going to open a practice room in the hall. We'll talk there." Saying so the big woman walked towards the entrance of the big building with our little Harry floating behind her who was frightened yet curious about all the things happening around him.

Entering inside the building what greeted Harry's eyes was a big hall with a circular big counter in the middle. There were many kinds of people wearing some kind of uniform inside the circular counter talking to the people coming inside and doing some work.

Coming in front of one such person, Naomi's big sister took out some kind of red crystal card and passed it to the receptionist.

Seeing the card, the receptionist bowed toward her and respectfully said "Lord Sylvia what may I help you with?

"I need a top-grade practice room for one hour." Replied Sylvia in a cold tone.

"Okay, please wait a moment" saying so the receptionist took out a tablet-like thing and entered a few details. After that, he took Sylvia's card and scanned it with the device in his hand.

After doing all that he gave that card to Sylvia and respectfully said "A top-grade practice room has been opened. Please go through door R01. Thanks for using our service."

Taking the card Sylvia turned back and was surprised to see that her little sister was poking the young boy's cheek whose eyes were filled with tears.

Seeing that she smiled and said "Let's go."

Walking towards a corner of the hall she came in front of a podium, took out her red card once again and said "Door Number R01."

Just as she said that, the wall in front of her shook and a wooden red colored door appeared.

Opening the door she first made her sister and Harry enter then she herself went inside.

The inside of the room was very simple with a bed in a corner and a few mattresses with cushions on the ground. Taking a seat at the bed she directly went to the point "From what I've observed your Champion's soul is injured which resulted in him not being able to remember his past life even with the help of upgraded wish. I don't know what caused this but I have my suspicions about who did this."

Hearing this Naomi's face became pale as she said in a panicked voice "How can this be? Big Sis, won't our contract become invalid if he won't be able to remember about his past life? When I made the contract it was clearly stated that his wish will allow him to remember his past life with some other perks. If the conditions of the wish are not fulfilled he won't be considered my champion and without a champion I won't be able to fight for the Lord Death's inheritance"

Hearing her sister's distressed voice Sylvia gave a chop on her head and said "Why are you panicking about it? Isn't it just a simple matter of soul injury and past life memory. Your sister can handle it easily. And the contracts are only examined after a century after being signed so if he gets his memory back before that he still will be your champion."

"Really sister? Can you help me?"

"Of Course don't you know how powerful your sister is" replied Sylvia smugly but deep down thinking about how many treasures she would have to use on this champion of her sister all because of a certain despicable bastard brother of theirs.

"Then sister, quickly help him. I also want to know how he can appear here this early even though he has yet to even reach Grade 1 Mortal." urged Naomi with eyes full of expectation.

"That I also want to learn little Nia but before that don't you think we should ask this little brother if he wants to get his memory back or not?"

"But is it necessary? What if he doesn't want his past memories back?" Asked Naomi clearly feeling down "If we give him his memory back Henry will definitely appreciate it and won't mind."

"I know that but now in a sense, Henry is dead. Harry is a new individual and we should always respect their choices. Don't worry if it won't work and he refuses, I will definitely find a way to get you a new Champion." said Sylvia as she patted her sister's head trying to cheer her up.

"Okay." Replied Naomi in a low voice clearly not feeling optimistic about it. She doubted that Harry would want his past life memories back but she hoped he would accept it as she knew it would be almost impossible for her to get a chance to find a new Champion. She has already lost so much when she accepted her brother's advice and performed the ritual ahead of time.

Hearing her answer Sylvia made Harry, who was floating beside them all the time and listening to their conversation not just because they were talking about him but also because he had no other choice, stand in front of her and removed the restrictions placed on his body. "You've already heard everything. Now it's up to you to decide whether you want your last life memories or not?"

By the time both sisters have finished their conversation Harry has already calmed down and has already analyzed the situation. He didn't know why but recently after coming to this strange place his mind has been extremely clear and he was able to think about everything clearly. Although he was just seven years old, all his analysis was based on his limited knowledge. He knew one thing clearly.

He wanted those previous life memories of his badly. Not because something inside of him was telling him to take it. No. He wanted them because he thought that those memories would give him a lot of knowledge. But even then he still had some considerations so he asked.

"What will happen if I accept them?"

Hearing his question Sylvia smiled as she determined that Harry wanted his memories.

She said "Nothing major. You'll just feel like you've woken up from a long sleep and had a nice dream that's all. You'll still be the same Harry Potter as you're now but with some extra knowledge as all I can do is impart those knowledge to you. Rest is up to you about how you sort them out and use them. But considering your innate skill I don't think it would be a problem."

"Okay. I want my past life memories."

"Really? That's great." Hearing him Naomi exclaimed in happiness and picked Harry up and kissed his cheeks. "Thank you, Henry."

Being suddenly kissed the young Harry was embarrassed as he tried to struggle free from her grasp. Seeing that he won't be able to get out from the beauty's powerful grasp he stopped his futile struggle and said " I'm Harry. Even after getting those memories I would still be called Harry as this name was given to me by my mother."

"Okay okay. You're Harry. My little champion. Hehe"

"Alright you two stop flirting in front of me. Harry is very weak right now. I can see that he is able to stay here only because the laws have been protecting him, but he doesn't have too much time left. We should hurry up" Saying so she once again made Harry float in front of herself and took out a vial filled with silverish liquid.

"I am going to perform a ritual to collect and record the memories of his previous life then I will impart them to you."

After saying that she poured out the silver liquid and started making runes using her fingers and the liquid.

Seeing the liquid Naomi was shocked as she knew what it was.

"The blood of a God Grade Soul Dragon" exclaimed Naoimi softly.

Seeing her sister taking out such a treasure for her sake she was touched and her determination to become strong and make her sister proud by obtaining that inheritance became stronger.

After drawing runes for a few minutes Sylvia stopped and clasped her hands together as she chanted in some unknown language.

In a few seconds, all those floating runes came together and merged with each other. After merging they were converted into a drop-shaped crystal and went inside Harry's head.

"Done. It will take a few moments for him to integrate those memories."

"Thank you, Big sister. I will work harder and won't let you down." Said Naomi as she embraced Sylvia.

Patting her back Sylvia smiled and said "Anything for my little sister."

"Hehe."

Both sisters were enjoying each other's embrace, clearly forgetting about a little guy who has just integrated his memories from his past life.

"Hey, Little Scammer Goddess. Did you miss me?" The voice of Harry made them remember of his existence as they left each other's embrace and turned to face him, each having a smile that sent chills to his spine.

"Uhm big sisters you guys continue. I didn't see anything." Saying so all he wanted was to run away from here but then he realised that his body was still not under his control.

"Little brother, now that everything is sorted out, why don't you tell us how you arrived here? This big sister is really interested to know about that." asked Sylvia, making him land on his feet and removing his body restrictions.

"I don't know. All I can remember is hearing some voice about my skill getting upgraded and then my consciousness blurred from intense pain. After everything was over I found myself in front of this so-called NEXUS HALL. By the way can anyone tell me how my skill upgraded? What is this place?" answered Harry truthfully.

"Is that so? Maybe your arrival here was the work of the upgrade card I used on you before you reincarnated. That card was obtained by me after clearing all four challenges of Nexus Tower in a single try. Since it was related to this Hall, maybe it had some other functions other than just upgrading something." replied Sylvia while frowning but then suddenly she smiled and said "Well forget about that. It's a good thing you are able to come here this early. We'll get you registered and once you reach Saint Grade you can come here to do missions and get rewards which will help you greatly. Our time is limited so let's get moving already. From the fluctuations of laws on your body I assume that we only have enough time to get you registered here quickly."

Saying so she didn't give any of the younger ones a chance to speak as she made her way towards the door and went outside. Having no other choice Harry and Naomi followed after her and came back to the reception area.

Going towards the same receptionist Sylvia contacted earlier she said "I would like to register this little guy as adventurer."

"Sure Lord Sylvia. Please give me his Guardian?"

"That would be me." Replied Naomi cheerfully.

"Guardian? Why do I need a guardian? And even if I need one, why should it be you?"

"Hmph! Why can't I be your guardian? Listen carefully. Your strength is not even at Grade one Mortal Rank and the rules of Nexus Hall says that those below Saint Rank need a guardian if they wish to register here. And since you're my Champion I will be your Guardian." Said Naomi smugly as she took out a Silver Card and passed it to the receptionist.

Taking the card the receptionist asked them to just wait for a few seconds and he started working on his tablet-like device again. After entering all datas he turned on the scan function of the device and scanned Harry fully.

After doing all this a colourless card similar to Naomi's and Sylvia's appeared in the receptionist's hand as he passed it to Harry.

Taking the card Harry was just about to examine it but he suddenly felt uncomfortable as if something too heavy was pressing on his body as he groaned.

"Lord Sylvia I would advise you to quickly send this guest quickly as the laws protecting him are about to vanish." said the receptionist in a calm yet respectful voice.

"Little brother quickly use that card to return to your world. Your body is too weak to stay here without the Law's protection." Said Sylvia hurriedly.

Feeling the pressure on his body increasing with each passing moment Harry gritted his teeth and said "I don't know how to."

"Stupid just think about it and you'll activate it. Also don't worry that card contains information about many basic things you will need to know. Now hurry up and go." said Naomi in a reproaching tone.

Hearing her he did as she said and thought of returning to his home world and then he felt a suction force pulling him away as he vanished from the hall.

Next goal is to reach chapter 30 by the end of july

Next chapter will be on Dumbles POV and if I get enough time maybe I'll write two chapters tomorrow
