[Hogwarts, Library, November 1st, 1991]

One fine evening, on a bright full moon embraced by the darkness of the night sky, two students are having a serious conversation in the farthest corner of the library. Despite the fact that they were conversing, no sound, noise, or soundwaves were emanating from within 5 meters of their radius, indicating the use of magic.

"I had to steer her away from the investigation; she doesn't need to know anything about it, especially from what I've gathered." The pigtailed girl said with an unemotional expression.

"There's no need to tell me your reasons for doing that to her, Wednesday. You did well. Did you find out what the Hellhound is hiding?" The golden-blonde-haired boy remarked with a question, Wednesday took something from her pocket. A letter, sealed with a carved fancy letter 'F'

"Nicholas Flamel?" said Moses as he read the sender of the letter and found out its contents. It's written on it about how Flamel let Dumbledore borrow the stone and asked to destroy it after Dumbledore finished what he wanted to do with it so that he could finally rest with his wife in peace.

"Yes, a French wizard and famed alchemist. He's a close associate of my family—" Wednesday elaborated as she went on,

"He was also known to the wizarding world as the known maker of the Philosopher's Stone, when actually, one of my family members and him were the ones who were responsible for its creation." She finished,

"Philosopher's Stone... I read it in a book—a legendary substance with astonishing powers. And you're telling me that one member of your family is one of the creators of it? The Stone will transform any metal into pure gold and produce the Elixir of Life, which will make the drinker immort—" said Moses in thought, but before he could finish his sentence, Wednesday interjected by saying,

"Immortality is nonexistent to mortals, his soul is being rejuvenated by the stone, but his mortal coil continues to rot—the Philosopher's Stone is a pathetic attempt at achieving immortality." she rebutted with a straight deadpan face.

"Then why did one of your family members create it?"

"Because she wants to die—and finally embraced Lady Death herself..." said Wednesday with a little melancholy while gazing at the full moon

"What? But that's the complete opposite of the stone, isn't it?" Moses questioned with a confused expression,

"And clearly, she wasn't successful in doing her endeavor, wasn't she?" Wednesday's retort was in a sarcastic tone.

"Geez, there's no need to be so sarcastic~ you're hurting my feelings, Wednesday."

"My pleasure... Now, if there's nothing else, if you'll excuse m—" said Wednesday as she turned around, ready to take her leave, but, before she could do so, a hand grabbed her shoulder from behind.

"Wait—" Moses stopped her from leaving,

"What is it?" Wednesday asked, confused at Moses's action,

"This—Where did you get this?" Moses asked as he probed the noticeable scratch below Wednesday's leg.

"So this is why you're paler than usual." He spoke with a hint of concern in his voice while examining Wednesday's wound.

"I didn't know it was even there to begin with," Wednesday replied while looking down at Moses blankly.

"You didn't feel even a little hurt by it? It seems like the troll from last night injured you" muttered Moses,

"It seems so..."

"Yeah right. Come—" Moses ordered as he pulled Wednesday closer to him to get a better view of the scratch. Wednesday, not expecting Moses's action, was taken away by surprise.

"Sit," Moses said as he took his wand from its holster.

"Wher—" said Wednesday as she looked around, trying to find somewhere she could sit, but before she could finish her sentence, the ground behind her suddenly ascended and then changed its shape until it resembled something similar to a chair.

"...Your transfiguration skill bewilders me considering that you're still a first-year," Wednesday commented as she took her seat. She looked down at Moses again and watched him do his work absorbingly.

"I'm always good at everything that deals with imagination; the doctor said that I've got some sort of spatial intelligence, which is supposed to be impossible considering that I have dyscalculia," Moses replied while examining Wednesday's wounds. He pointed his wand at her wounds and casted,

"Parvum Sanabitur." With his spell, the scratched wound closed itself as if nothing had happened, thereby healing Wednesday's wound.

"Done, hehe," Mose chuckled with a silly smile, proud of his work. Wednesday immediately stood up and turned her back towards Moses, she was hastily trying to leave.

"No thank you?!" yelled Moses, adorning himself with an amused smirk, causing Wednesday to stop in her tracks.

"...I'd rather kill myself." She muttered as she left, leaving the grinning Moses alone with the moonlight.

[Hogwarts, November 3rd, 1991]

Over the past few days, Moses, had become very bored with Hogwarts. He read every interesting book in the library, but it appears that his patience is less than he thought. That's why, he thought,

'Why not practice my powers for old time's sake? I haven't done any research on it the past few months, considering that I need to learn a bunch of new things magical in Hogwarts, but considering that there's nothing interesting anymore other than the 5th year books that I haven't read. Beside its about time that I used it more frequently before I get rusted.'

This was what was on his mind while shitting. So he researched and researched about the biological differences between a wizard's and a normal human's and discovered something that advanced his research and theories about his powers' correlation to his biology. He discovered that all magical beings, beasts, and monsters have something called magical resistance.

Magical resistance is what has kept wizardkind alive in their strange spells and practices. Casting an Engorgio Skullus on your wizard bully? Don't worry, because he has a magical resistance, and with a little counter curse, all will be well. But casting an Engorgio Skullus onto a normal human? Well, all will not be well because you just murdered a muggle.

When he discovered that magical perk, Moses thought,

"What if I could command any part of my body to perform a specific purpose or function indefinitely? If magical resistance is what aids the magical kind in various types of deformities caused by a spell, then theoretically I can command any part of my body to be capable of any specific purpose passively without using any of my three command slots because the magical resistance will regard my deformity or abnormality as a characteristic of my physiology rather than a threat...motherfuc —'

Moses ran as fast as he could normally to the Hogwarts corridors, leaving everyone who saw him perplexed as to why he was running so frantically.

He ran his feet until he reached the empty section of the Great Lake.

{A concealment barrier that will conceal me and everything I'm doing will be covered in a 100-meter radius around me.} He commanded.

With his command, an invisible substance covered Moses over a 100-meter radius. The barrier was spherical in shape and had the capability to conceal any kind of disturbance from inside to outside.

"Testing powers, mic check, mic check." Moses muttered in excitement.

"Just kidding, hehe." He said it with a silly smile.

{My eyes are capable of heat beam on command!} He gave himself a command. With his command, he felt something—a little odd feeling in his eyes. And with a thought,

BZZZZZZ!*

A red laser beam came out of it, causing the lake to produce a thick water vapor.

Moses turned off his heat vision and stared in a daze in front of him.

"Let's test my command, if there are still two left, then my hypothesis is correct; if it's wrong, then....sigh." Moses sighed as he commanded,

{This rock will float.} A rock ascended from his feet.

{This air will solidify into a sword.} A solidified sword made up of compressed air appeared in his clutches.

"Now... I have three commandments completed...If my eyes can still generate heat beam, then — my possibilities will be endless.' Moses thought with a serious expression as he aimed his eyes towards the lake.

And with a thought —

BZZZZZZ!*

—His endless possibilities did indeed come true.

"Success... with these... as long as I commanded any part of my physiology beforehand, then I don't need to waste a command." Moses muttered to himself. A look of realization appeared on his face as he muttered with an expectant expression,

"Do I even need to command when I can do these! — "

(ノ`⌒´)ノ┫

"....Fucking limitations. This doesn't make sense—well, neither do my powers...but still—"

Moses, after testing his powers, decided to categorize them into two types of commandments. Namely, passive commands and active commands.

Passive commands are a type of command that can permanently give its target a certain effect/purpose without reducing Moses's three command slots. This type of command is still being studied because Moses had no idea why it was even possible. They don't work on an equivalent exchange basis considering that Moses didn't need to use any mana to operate them, so he thought,

'Why in hell can I fire a heat beam from my eyes without taking any ounces of my mana? How do they power themselves?'

That's why his research on passive commandments is still in its infancy.

'Well, at least they're easier and more efficient to use than the active commandments, so there's that.' Moses pondered as he shrugged.

While the second is called Active commands. These types of commands decreases the three command slots and can't be activated permanently due to their nature and purpose. While using this type of command, Moses must always have a mana reservoir that he can use because it operates based on equivalent exchange.

The two types of commandments are hard to differentiate in terms of activation, considering that Moses's powers have certain limitations that he can't quite get his head around. But instead of depressing over that realization, Moses chose to get over that fact and started rewarding himself for the huge milestone that he achieved in his research about his powers.

[]A/N: I just want to remind to you that the following chapters after this will not have much of a change, just think of those as the calm before the storm. Is the key. Patience.[]
