Chapter 36 Magneto Daughter

Tony Stark shrugged and looked at Indra, shaking his head. This outcome was clearly somewhat unexpected for him.

"Well, this certainly requires some luck," Tony admitted. "Actually, guessing the Super Lotto numbers isn't anything special."

With that said, Tony casually grabbed two boxes of dice from the bar counter and looked at Indra, saying, "How about we try playing dice? Highest roll wins?"

Indra took one box of dice and shook it. Tony followed suit.

As they rolled the dice, Tony commented, "Mandarin's gang is formidable, all professionally trained."

After opening the dice boxes, Indra won with a higher roll.

Tony looked puzzled. "You need to trust me about Mandarin. He's not easy to deal with, with hardly any weaknesses."

Continuing to shake the dice, Tony said, "So when you face him, your chance of winning is almost twenty percent."

Once again, Indra won with a higher roll.

Tony furrowed his brow slightly. "He can manipulate people's minds, a few or even a dozen people. So your winning odds drop to only ten percent."

Tony shook the dice again. Indra won once more.

"Damn it!" Tony couldn't help but exclaim, looking at the dice. Despite his years of mingling in various entertainment venues, he didn't win a single round?!

Tony shook his head in resignation. "Okay, okay! I get it, you have good luck."

He sighed and looked at Indra seriously. "I found out Mandarin is currently at the border. I suggest you devise a plan first. Don't rush into it. It's best to come back safely."

With that, Tony glanced at Indra's dice box, frowned, and left the bar.

Indra chuckled and signaled the bar to refill his glass of tequila.

At that moment, a girl with green hair sat down next to Indra.

"A tequila," the girl told the bartender, placing a handful of bills on the table.

The girl's attire was unique, and she looked young, around seventeen or eighteen. She turned her face away, making it difficult for Indra to see her clearly. But from her appearance, she didn't seem as mature as other girls. Due to her hair color, Indra couldn't help but give her a second glance.

"I know you," the girl suddenly spoke up, then turned to look at Indra. "I've seen you on TV."

Indra was momentarily stunned. Despite being young, the girl was undeniably attractive. However, he couldn't quite place where he had seen her before.

"That's not surprising," Indra replied casually, unable to recall where he had seen her.

By then, the bartender had already brought the drinks.

The girl picked up her glass and looked at Indra, asking, "Care to join me? My treat?"

Indra raised an eyebrow, smiling, "You're drinking such strong liquor. Aren't you afraid of getting too intoxicated?"

The girl quickly finished half of her tequila and said, "I don't plan on going back. I came out to find you."

Indra coughed lightly. Well, meeting pretty girls could also be considered a stroke of luck.

Smiling at Indra, the girl said, "Remember my name."

Indra chuckled and asked, "Why should I remember your name?"

"I'm Lorna Dane," the girl said.

Indra was taken aback. Lorna Dane? Magneto's daughter? Polaris? What was she doing here?

"Sure you don't want a drink?" Lorna asked when Indra didn't respond.

Shaking his head, Indra said, "Drinking too much can lead to trouble."

With that, Indra left the bar.

It's normal for men to take a second glance at attractive women. However, Lorna Dane was quite young, so it was hard to say whether she was big or not. Although Indra liked to flirt with beautiful girls, he was a principled person.

Not long after Indra left the bar, Lorna Dane suddenly appeared in front of him.

"I have nowhere to go. Take me to your place," Lorna Dane said bluntly.

Her straightforwardness caught Indra off guard.

"I can sleep on the couch; I don't mind sharing the bed," Lorna continued.

Indra chuckled, looking at Lorna Dane, and said, "Going to my place isn't just about sleeping."

Lorna Dane smirked and said, "Then let's go to a hotel."

Indra smiled and asked, "A young girl like you isn't afraid?"

Lorna Dane frowned slightly and answered nonchalantly, "I can manipulate magnetic fields. Don't believe me? Watch."

Lorna Dane extended her right hand and waved it at a passing car, causing the car to sway up and down with her hand movements.

Indra knew Lorna Dane inherited some of Magneto's abilities, which he was aware of.

Looking at Lorna Dane and then at the sky, Indra said, "Alright, come with me."

Lorna Dane followed behind Indra.

However, Indra didn't take her back to his place; he just helped her book a room.

"You can stay here tonight; go back early tomorrow," Indra said, tossing the room key to Lorna Dane.

"I ran away from home," Lorna Dane suddenly said, looking at Indra. "And a big part of the reason I ran away is because of you."

"I wanted to see if you're as handsome in person as you are on TV."

Indra coughed and looked at Lorna Dane, asking, "Do you think I'm handsome?"

"Handsom**er** than on TV," Lorna Dane replied with a smile, tossing her bag onto the bed.

"Rest early," he added.

With that, Indra left the room.
