Weapons and Faith

"Because, Hela, is my chosen heir," Odin declared.

"She possesses the power of the entire Asgard!

"That power cannot be lost in the outside world, even in death," Odin emphasized, "You can only die in the Nine Realms,

"The power of Asgard cannot be lost!"

"This is the basis on which the entire Asgard is maintained in the depths of the universe!" Odin concluded decisively.

Caesar fell into a somewhat thoughtful silence.

He had wanted to ask why Odin said the gods were a bunch of pitiful creatures, but after pondering it, he lost interest again.

As for Earth's secrets, Caesar had no desire to delve into them now.

At least, not until his strength far surpassed that of the gods.

Caesar didn't want to die, especially after gathering six Infinite Gems.

"What's next?" he wondered.

"All I want now is to meet Hela!"

The inability to release Hela didn't mean that communicating with her was impossible.

With Odin's help, Caesar discreetly sent a part of his consciousness to hell.

But as for physically entering, he didn't trust Odin that much yet.

Hell, endless hell.

Caesar imagined that the hell where Hela was held would resemble the one in the video he'd seen, full of lava, demons, and poisonous gas.

But reality surprised him.

The so-called hell where Hela was imprisoned was, in some ways, just an infinite void.

There was boundless darkness and dead silence.

Here, time and space seemed to have lost their meaning.

Caesar shouted loudly, but received no response for a long time.

About to turn around, he suddenly found Hela, with loose hair, standing behind him, staring at him.

Hela reached out and touched Caesar's face, then exclaimed in surprise and indignation, "Is it really you? Caesar!"

"Did Odin really lock you in?" she continued, her voice tinged with anger.

"Why would he do that, why!" Hela growled angrily, causing the entire hell space to tremble.

"You can't keep me, Odin!" she declared, her voice echoing, "One day, I will rule Asgard, I will conquer the whole universe!

"Then, I'll start a glorious revenge!"

Hela roared up to the sky.

The prolonged imprisonment didn't extinguish Hela's fighting spirit; instead, it fueled it further.

Caesar felt a deep sorrow and the urge to confront Odin to free Hela, but ultimately, he resigned himself to the situation. Instead, he offered Hela a warm embrace. Being both gods, Caesar understood the concept of time differently. Though years had passed, in the grand scheme, it was but a moment. He couldn't let his mother and Hela remain enemies forever over such a short span.

During their conversation, Caesar discussed various matters, including his current strength, Odin's remaining lifespan, and his reasons for not immediately confronting Odin or releasing Hela. Hela listened attentively, offering silent support. She then revealed a secret treasure from the Shi'a Empire, capable of converting belief into energy.

Though Caesar had failed to awaken divine power before, Hela believed that strong belief could still empower him. However, their previous attempt had failed due to Hela's insufficient strength to conquer the entire Shi'a Empire. Yet, with Caesar's newfound power, the need for such a gift diminished.

As Caesar's consciousness began to fade, he made plans to meet again soon. When he regained awareness in Odin's bedroom, he exchanged a meaningful glance with Odin before departing Asgard after a brief rest and discussions with Odin and Frigga.

Thor, hoping to return to Earth to reunite with Jane, was met with Caesar's disapproving gaze. Heimdall informed Thor of Jane's current sentiments, prompting Thor to reluctantly set aside his desires for the time being. As Asgard faced turmoil and rebellions erupted across the Nine Realms, Odin refrained from direct intervention, choosing instead to preserve Asgard's strength for the impending conflicts ahead.

It's also his idea to let Thor gain prestige and military accomplishments, especially after Hela returns. More supporters would rally behind Thor, Odin thought helplessly. As for Caesar, after leaving Asgard, he heads straight to the land of the dwarves, Nidavi.

After the battle with Odin, Caesar made a profound discovery: powerful artifacts can significantly boost combat prowess. Soon, the Power Gem and the Reality Gem would appear, and he needed a weapon capable of harnessing multiple gems simultaneously. Even fourth-order Aesir gods or mighty Titans could only control one Infinity Gem with their flesh. Attempting more would result in their powerful bodies collapsing.

Though commonly referred to as dwarves, these beings were giants several meters tall. Their expertise lay in blacksmithing, crafting legendary weapons like Mjolnir, Gungnir, and the future Stormbreaker, along with the Infinity Gauntlet. The dwarf king Aicui acknowledged Caesar without rejecting his idea of forging artifacts, recognizing Caesar's identity and strength.

After discussing with Aicui, Caesar planned to relocate Nidavi, including the star ring neutron star, to a secure location for the dwarves to focus on forging. However, the stubborn dwarf king refused, acknowledging Caesar's victory over Odin but insisting that Nidavi's rule belonged to Asgard.

Caesar nodded without committing to moving Nidavi immediately, knowing he could prepare a significant gift for Thanos if he came. Once preparations were made, Caesar departed for Earth, intending to monopolize the planet's belief, now under his dominion.
