"You can't kill me, because after all, I'm death itself."

Death itself? As in like the grim reaper? What does she mean?

Suddenly, the skeleton woman in front of me reappears behind me, without notice. "Do you know the central aspect of the universe?

There are Eternity and Infinity, Death and Oblivion. Of course, there are more to this, but that is the main four of the universe.

And I, am one of the aspects of the universe itself, I am death."

"So what? Even if you are the personification of death itself, I still see no reason why you are here."

"Isn't it obvious? I am here because of you. You and your power, the power that has the potential to become much more, the power that has the potential to bring the unimaginable amount of death into the universe itself.

As for the reason why I want you and your power, it's because I want to make a deal with you, boy."

The skeleton lady said while she kept appearing and disappearing around me.

"A deal?"

"Yes, a deal. Usually, I will manipulate you into doing my bidding like every other by charming you, but you are no ordinary mortal; you have no interest in anything as long as it doesn't involve you.

All you want is to gain more power so that you can survive for another day, so that is why I will be blunt and make a deal with you.

The deal that I want to make of you is also straightforward." She said before stopping right in front of me.

She sweeps her hand in the air, which causes my entire surrounding to change; now I am standing in what seems to be a stone platform, and in front of me is a pale white stair that appears to be made out of bone and on top of the stair is a throne that seems to be made out of bone.

There are no roofs or walls, and it seems that we are in an open area, or so that is what I thought because in the sky are endless darkness that appears to be covered in light of the stars.

Sitting on the said throne is also none other than the skeleton lady herself.

"The deal that I want to make is straightforward; all I want you to do is to wipe out all life in the universe, very simple, don't you agree?

As for what you get from this deal is that I will give you the power that you always need and want, and with it, you can use it to wipe out all life in the universe."

"You want me to kill all life in the universe?"

"Why yes, you might think that I'm cruel or insane, but I can reassure you that I am perfectly fine. As for why I want to bring death to all life to the universe, the reason is simple.

It is in my nature to seek death for all life in the universe. Just like how every life in the universe have a purpose to survive and change, my sole purpose is to bring death to all life in the universe."

"If you want to do that, then why don't you do it yourself? After all, if you are death itself, why can't you just... I don't know, snapped your finger and killed all life in the universe."

"Of course, I can, technically. But in doing so, I would break the rule of the universe, which even us, aspect beings, cannot break, because doing so, we would receive a hefty punishment from The Living Trinity himself." The skeleton lady said

She then stands up from the throne before slowly walking down the stairs before arriving in front of me.

Standing in front of me, the skeleton lady extends her hand, revealing her pure bone hand, and her empty eyes socket seem to be looking down on me somehow.

"Now then, will you make a deal with me?"

Killing every life in the universe, huh?

Today is a weird day; first, I wake up and take a shower in the castle belonging to Dracula himself, then a doctor asks me to go and gather blood from people in town.

After that, I also find out that my Rasomon has the power of teleportation and the most insane thing out of them all, I accidentally bump into the personification of death itself.

Well, it's probably not an accident. She probably planned it to happen.

After that, the personification asks me to kill all life in the universe, giving me the power to do so.

What a weird day, huh?

Hey, wait a minute...

If she said she wanted to bring all life into the universe, does that mean aliens are out there in space? Damn, now that is probably the biggest surprise I ever heard in my life.

But back to the point, she wants to bring death to all life in the universe?

Now that I think about it, that sound... stupid, for her, that is.

I mean, she said she an aspect of death to all life in the universe, so that isn't that just means, for death to exist, there needs to be life, and without life, there will be no death. What would happen to that skeleton lady if all life in the universe is gone?

Maybe she will disappear from the universe because there is no life, which means no death.

If that is the case, this is nothing more than committing suicide with an extra step. But how would she die when she is death itself?

Is there a being out there in the universe that killed death itself? Like the death of death type of being?

There are so many questions I want to ask. I am learning that the universe itself is more significant than what I know is weird. This day would probably be remembered as the most bizarre day I ever have in my life. There is no way it would be beaten.

Now back to the skeleton lady goal; maybe there is more to it; perhaps she has some grand plan when all life in the universe is gone?

Should I accept her deal, I mean, I would without a doubt get a massive power-up, and all I have to do is kill everything I see; it sounds straightforward.

But do I want to accept it?

Taking a deep breath, I look straight into the skeleton lady's empty eyes socket and slowly extend my hand.

Before my sleeves turn into Rashomon, I cut the skeleton lady hand before eating it right then and there.

"I refuse!!"
