Chapter 7: Why the Thanos love to snap his fingers

The blonde woman stretched out her hands and blocked the large gloved hand of the Thanos, and each side exerted its strength.

　　But under the blonde woman's enormous strength, the exterminator was gradually unable to support himself, and his body was slowly pushed backwards by the blonde woman.

　　The blonde woman, by herself, was able to hold back the exterminator!

　　This is not all, the exterminator gritted his teeth, raised his head and rammed it into the blonde woman, but it bounced back as if it had hit a wall.

　　The blonde woman, however, was not even affected in the slightest and did not even blink.

　　She just looked at the exterminator with incomparable coldness.

　　"Who is this woman? She suppressed the Thanos!"

　　Rhodes said in great surprise.

　　"She's an earthling! Is there anyone else on Earth who is this powerful?"

　　Iron Man's mouth also opened wide in surprise.

　　That alien was the one who had ravaged Iron Man like a dog, simply powerful to the point of perversion.

　　But to think that this woman was able to suppress the exterminator with ease with her power.

　　It was no exaggeration to say that it was almost like a god.

　　"It's her!"

　　Coulson's pupils were however slightly shrunken, and even though many years had passed, he still recognized it at once.

　　Wasn't that Captain Danvers, Captain Marvel?

　　Captain Danvers had been wandering the universe for so many years as if she had forgotten about Earth.

　　But when the Earth was in danger, Danvers had come back immediately.

　　Seeing this, Coulson's heart felt slightly comforted.

　　As several people watched, they saw Captain Marvel have a fierce power, which directly suppressed the exterminator to the ground on one leg!

　　With one hand still holding down the exterminator, Captain Marvel swung her fist with the other and began to punch him hard.

　　Just as Iron Man thought that the Thanos were about to be knocked down by a single punch from Captain Marvel, the Thanos suddenly and violently plucked a jewel off of their gloves.

　　Then with that one jewel, he sent Captain Marvel flying in one fell swoop.

　　"That's cheating!"

　　Iron Man shouted in anger and indignation, if it wasn't for the use of the stone, the Overlord wouldn't have been able to beat the woman.

　　"That's the power of the Infinity Stones!"

　　The duo of Rhodes and Coulson, on the other hand, were secretly amazed at the power of the Infinity Stones.

　　Thanos had been overwhelmed by Captain Marvel, but after using a gem, he immediately turned the tide of battle by an overwhelming margin.

　　And there's more than just one gem of that kind that the Thanos have!

　　Once Captain Marvel is knocked back, the camera switches to Iron Man, only to see that Iron Man has bruises and blood on his face, and his steel battle armour is torn in several places.

　　Iron Man has been through a very violent battle.

　　Iron Man, Rhodes and Coulson all looked solemn, especially Iron Man, whose heart tightened slightly.

　　They were about to witness the death of Iron Man!

　　After Captain Marvel had been beaten back by Thanos for using the stone, there was no one left to help Tony.

　　Iron Man was supposed to come out as the last hope, the grand finale.

　　But instead of stepping up to fight Thanos, as everyone thought he would, this time Iron Man turned his gaze, instead, to a guy in a red cape with a long face.

　　But then he saw the guy, holding out a finger to Iron Man.

　　"What does that mean?"

　　Iron Man was a little confused and turned his head to look at the two Rogues beside him, only to see that the two were just as confused as himself.

　　And after the man held out his finger, a look of sadness and determination appeared on Iron Man's face on the screen.

　　It was as if he had understood something.

　　The next thing he knew, Iron Man was rushing towards the purple alien, who was using his gloved hand to make a gesture of snapping his fingers, only to have Iron Man grab that hand in a tight grip.

　　Iron Man spun around and got into a close fight with the Overlord.

　　The result was obvious, as Iron Man was knocked out of the way in three blows.

　　At this time, Thanos once again extended his right hand, with an endlessly smug and cold look on his face, and said, "I am inevitable."

　　Snap!

　　With that, Thanos snapped his fingers.

　　The few people in front of the screen, Iron Man, had a small question, why would Thanos snap his fingers at a time like this?

　　And it seemed that when he had fought off the woman earlier, it was Iron Man who had stopped him from snapping his fingers.

　　Is snapping his fingers something so important?

　　Why is he so obsessed with this action?

　　And why would the future Iron Man be so desperate to stop this action?

　　With this question in mind, Iron Man continued to stare at the screen in front of him.

　　After snapping his fingers, they saw that the conqueror's face showed a triumphant gesture after completing his conquest as if he was enjoying the joy of victory.

　　But the next moment, a look of consternation appeared on Thanos's face.

　　It was as if something was supposed to happen, but it didn't.

　　He turned his hand over to look at it, only to find that all the gems that had been set on it had disappeared.

　　The man realized what was going on and turned his head towards Iron Man.

　　But he saw Iron Man stretch out his right hand, which was set with the six infinity stones from Thanos's glove.

　　"See, I told you, I snatched them!"

　　The Iron Man in front of the screen once again showed a dejected look and raised an eyebrow at Rhodes and Coulson beside him.

　　And after seeing that Iron Man had snatched all six Infinity Stones, the Overlord became ashen after the shock.

　　"I am ... Iron Man!"

　　Amidst the gaze of the exterminator, Iron Man gritted his teeth and snapped his fingers.

　　A dazzling flash of light burst out.

　　Immediately afterwards, something dumbfounding happened to everyone in front of the screen, only to see all the alien legions on the battlefield turn into flying ashes one after another and dissipate.

　　In the end, even the overlord of the universe, Thanos, likewise turned into flying ashes and dissipated.

　　"So the power of a single snap of the finger is so powerful? No wonder this purple guy always wants to snap his fingers." Rhodes said with his jaw dropped and realization dawning.

　　He said he even snapped his fingers a few times in passing.

　　Who would have thought that such a small, unobtrusive gesture would have that much lethality?

　　It was quite a shattering sight.

　　"So the Infinity Stones are specifically for snapping your fingers!" Iron Man also muttered.

　　After snapping his fingers, however, he saw that Iron Man's entire body lost its strength all of a sudden and just sat on the ground with his back leaning against a boulder.

　　Almost half of his face was burned by the energy of the Infinity Stones, and most of his Iron Man armour was destroyed.

　　Many people gathered around to check on Iron Man's condition, but everyone knew that Iron Man's days were numbered.
