Art is a Chaos.

[NYC]

From the roof of the Empire State Building, a masked man stared down at the bustling city.

The city was thriving with both humans and mutants slowly coming together to open firms and businesses. Supernatural beings roamed on the street without fear with the humans enjoying their company.

He was happy to see this, it has taken a lot of effort— manipulation included to build this. And he was proud of this development.

But every once in a while, such stable communities face a threat that shakes them to the core and leads them to further development. And he was going to be the catalyst for this development.

He stood up and closed his eyes, enjoying the cold air hitting his body. This was the first time he was making a public appearance and it was going to be the most impactful.

He released a deep breath as he opened his eyes and stared down at the residents of the city.

"People of New York City." He said, enhancing his voice that everyone could hear him. "I hope you are doing excellently."

The people, both confused and weirded out by the sudden announcement, looked up towards the source.

"My name is Jester, a fellow inhabitant of this artsy planet."

People stared at the building but him being thousands of feet up made it difficult for them to make out his appearance. And Jester picked up on this.

"Oh, pardon me for not making a proper appearance."

As he said that, a massive hologram of him floated above the sky which made nearly everyone scared— while the rest seemed to be intrigued by the appearance of a sudden being.

"Who is he?" One of the men within the area asked.

"I don't know, he looks like a clown." Another replied.

"He looks… creepy."

Jester laughed as he heard them.

"I consider myself to be a fine connoisseur of art and in the past, this planet has been the definition of art." Jester said which confused the audience. "But now… it's stale."

"What is he talking about?"

"Is he like a crazy person, mommy?"

"*Shuush* Don't worry about him."

Jester shook his head in disappointment. "The peace has ruined the art."

Everyone looked at him in confusion but unknown to them, he was determined.

"But no more will I accept such a dull world. I will bring back the art, I shall repaint the chaos." He smiled behind his mask. "After all… Chaos is an art, fear is the scalpel and blood is the paint."

He laughed, "So, behold my artistic skills!"

*BOOM!*

[[Charles Francis Xavier]]

Henry's eyes stuck glued to the television screen while I went through the names of all the available X-Men.

"This is bad…" Henry mumbled.

"Tell me something that is not so obvious, Henry." My unintentional sneer made him chuckle in worry.

"Who is this guy?" He asked and I would have loved to know the same.

On the screen was the masked man that had blown away the top floor of the Empire State Building.

"Behold the madness of an artist!"

"W-What is that…"

Xavier was just as shell-shocked as Henry when Jester made the concrete pieces fly in the sky and let them rain down the streets— destroying the other housing structures.

The whole place was in chaos, fear of their lives increasing as the debris started to fall near the living beings.

Xavier couldn't wait anymore and looked at Henry.

"That's enough. Call everyone!"

"On it!"

[[Markus "Jester" Hanley]]

Fear…

That's what I wanted to see.

The chaos had exploded and the people were running in fear as I continued to wreck the city.

The Empire State Building was badly damaged and was a single hit away from crumbling down. The streets were inaccessible with all the concrete pieces lying around

However, it was only the start.

"People of New York City, I hope that you are enjoying the show."

The topography of the area changed with spikes sprouting from the ground which damaged the pipelines and caused the streets to flood.

"For this is only the beginning!"

After all, New York was not the only place that was under attack.

[London, UK]

While Jester made his appearance in New York City, Betty and the rest were tasked with dealing with the other places.

"W-Why are you doing this?"

One of the women begged as Betty stood before her in her mask. The entire place was wrecked with the fire burning down half of the city.

"Boss' order." She smiled through her half mask. "I am just following orders, Luv."

She smashed the police car that was rushing towards her.

"Now if you don't want to die, I would advise you to get lost."

The woman didn't need any further warning as she ran as fast as she could.

"Whoever you are, surrender or we will be forced to attack!"

The police announced through their microphones which made Betty chuckle.

"That's cute."

She extended her hand towards the policemen and made a fist towards them which instantly disabled their microphones.

'This ability is pretty cool…'

Markus has given her the X-Gene that he plundered from Magneto and now she possesses the same ability that he did— Magnetism manipulation.

"You will cease your terrorism right this instant!"

She smiled at the roar.

"Oh, I didn't expect that 'The Captain Britain' would make a visit for lil' ol' me." Betty chuckled as the man in front of her frowned.

Brian had to rush in when he heard a superpowered being was causing mass devastation in his area. And he couldn't allow that.

'Bloodstone should be busy in India, Deadpool in Afghanistan, Domino in Australia, Moonknight in Kenya and Sable in France. While the rest are making sure that none of our identities is revealed.' She hummed. "My boss wants me to paint this place in red, and I am willing to do as he wishes." She smiled. "And you will be the first addon to this art, Captain Britain!"

The metallic pipelines sprouted from the ground and flew towards him. Her control over magnetism allowed her to freely move the metallic objects without touching and she knew that with practice, she could even mess with the earth's magnetism.

*Tsk*

Brian managed to dodge the pipelines but had to use his powers to destroy them before they could hit the structures near him. Betty had already destroyed too many important structures and the cost of repair was going to be enormous.

"I will give you another chance to surrender. This does not have to be any more difficult than it already is."

Betty giggled. "That's cute, but I have no intention of listening."

Using her magnetic control, she flew towards him and threw a punch straight at him.

This was awfully surprising to Brian as he didn't expect the woman to pack such a strong punch.

He felt his hands vibrating after stopping her punch.

But he didn't waste any more time and launched an energy beam at Betty.

"I gave you a chance, and you lost it."
