The Location of Your Wife

The other three members of the Boys were extremely shocked when they saw Li Yue attacking their companion. They immediately felt the need to avenge their companion, but they reined their emotions.

There were only three normal people in their group. Even if they had a hundred times more people, they wouldn't be able to even scratch Li Yue. Li Yue was an existence that survived a confrontation against Homelander and might even kill Homelander!

"Heh, it seemed that I was not welcome here. Don't worry; I just put him to sleep. His life isn't in danger.

"And I'm not your enemy! I just need your help with something!"

Li Yue observed the Boys' reaction to him. He ignored their terrified gazes and smiled innocently as he spoke as if the incident with the black man hadn't just happened!

The Boys secretly sighed in relief when they heard that the black man's life wasn't in danger. If Li Yue said that he had no ill will towards them, then it must be true because Li Yue had more than enough strength to completely annihilate them!

"Our help? If you can't do it, how are we going to help?"

Frenchie was the first to speak up. If someone as strong as Li Yue couldn't solve a problem, why would he go to them? How could they help?

Hughie also watched Li Yue curiously, but Billy's eyes were a little different. He didn't know how he should face Li Yue. After all, Li Yue had fulfilled the dream of his revenge.

But Billy couldn't bring himself to thank Li Yue. He also didn't have a good impression of superhumans in general, including Li Yue. Therefore, his mind was filled with conflicting thoughts: he didn't know whether to be thankful or resentful!

"I wonder, did you guys already know about Compound V? I'm not talking about the information I published, but the information you got yourself!"

Li Yue asked curiously. He didn't know if these people already obtained clues about Compound V like they did in the original plot.

Li Yue walked into the room and glanced around. His eyes were caught on the displayed image on the computer screen. It looked like a person's room: they should be monitoring Popclaw's room!

"We only knew a little bit about it. We knew that something called Compound V existed and what it was used for, but not as much as you did. And we had no idea about this 'Baby Plan' that you exposed!"

Frenchie, Hughie, and Billy looked at each other for a while before Billy ultimately nodded to Frenchie. Frenchie was the one who told Li Yue about the extent of their knowledge.

They hid nothing. Well, the only thing they knew that wasn't in Li Yue's release was that injecting Compound V into fully-developed superhumans could provide a temporary ability boost—as well as an abnormal level of excitement!

For example, when A-Train killed Hughie's girlfriend, A-Train was under the influence of Compound V and couldn't control his emotions and speed properly. That was how he ended up killing Hughie's girlfriend!

They also learned from watching Popclaw that A-Train was also just a Compound V courier for someone else, and Popclaw herself didn't know much. If they want to know more or even get a sample of Compound V, they would have to approach A-Train instead.

But how the hell were they supposed to approach A-Train? The last chance they had was the race between A-Train and Shockwave, but that was a public event that was attended by Homelander and even Li Yue. The Boys had no chance to take action!

They still had their agreement with Li Yue to uphold, after all. Li Yue's air of omniscience also made them averse to confronting him!

"I believe that you have seen the information I posted online. I don't need anything difficult from you guys. I just want to get my hand on some Compound V samples!" Li Yue said casually.

"Why don't you go get it yourself? Why should ordinary people like us risk our lives for you?"

Hughie directly confronted Li Yue, despite the others' silence!

"Of course, I have my own reasons, but I can't tell you!"

Li Yue answered Hughie's question with a relaxed attitude.

Li Yue had tried teleporting to "the location where the babies were injected with Compound V" and "the place where the Asian girl was locked up," but he couldn't get a reaction on either of those!

Li Yue had no idea if it was because of the plot or due to other reasons, but the result was clear. If he wanted to get Compound V, he would have to spend a lot of effort.

Handing the task off to Billy and the others would probably be the better choice. He would save himself some trouble and still let the plot and the protagonist's goal progress. Of course, Li Yue would never admit that he was simply lazy.

"We agree!"

Hughie subconsciously tried to reject Li Yue's request, but Billy loudly interrupted behind him!

Billy agreed to Li Yue's request while staring right at Li Yue. There wasn't a hint of fear behind Billy's eyes!

"We agree with your request, but you would have to repay us. You have to help us completely destroy Vought International!"

Billy walked forward until he was less than a foot away in front of Li Yue. His courage was unwavering!

"Hah, it seemed that you misunderstood me. I came here to ask you to help me get what I want, not get it for me on your own. You have no weight to throw at me!"

Li Yue kept his expression calm, even under Billy's gaze. He even casually said those threatening words with a smile! He summoned two balls of silver lightning in his hand, which he played around with.

"I heard you loud and clear. But I also told you about my condition. Either you work with us and find what you need, or fight us to the death!"

Billy and the others already noticed the silver light in Li Yue's hand. Hughie and Frenchie immediately turned pale, but Billy's expression remained. He simply replied to Li Yue with no fear in his voice!

Despite their nervousness, Hughie and Frenchie joined Billy's side. The three confronted Li Yue together, and the temperature seemed to drop.

"Heh, don't be so nervous. I won't agree to your conditions, but if you do what I ask, I can give you information no one else can give you.

"For example, the location of your wife!"
