"Is that right? You know where my wife is? Is she still alive?"

Billy's calm expression suddenly turned manic when he heard what Li Yue said. He couldn't help but rush to ask all those questions at Li Yue.

Other than death, the only thing that would shake Billy's mind would probably be the news about his wife.

"But... that's impossible! There are very few people who know about my wife. How could you know about her? You must be lying! You lied to me to make me do what you want!"

Billy's expression was indescribable. He really wanted to believe that his wife was still alive, but he didn't dare cling to that hope.

Li Yue wasn't in a hurry: he felt that Billy would ultimately agree. After all, Billy's wife was very important to him, so much so that he would abandon all notion of safety and go against Vought International and Homelander!

"Alright, you win. I agree to your conditions!"

Sure enough, Billy finally agreed after a period of silence. He couldn't miss any chance to meet his wife!

Li Yue said with a smile. At some point, the two balls of silver energy had disappeared from his hands!

Frenchie and Hughie silently breathed a sigh of relief. They were really afraid that Li Yue would throw the energy in his hands at them without a second thought.

They had seen how Translucent died with their own eyes, after all. Even now, they can still remember the brutal scene. They didn't want to experience it in person.

However, they still cursed in their heart at Li Yue's words. What the hell did you mean you didn't threaten us? Does "threatening" could only mean pointing a gun at our heads?

Li Yue casually waved his hand as if saying goodbye to his good friends. He then bent his knees and jumped to the sky!

Billy still technically owed him 40 grand, but he had no way of getting that money back. Hughie was a vagrant that no longer had a job, so he didn't have any money either.

And the black man was even worse: he was actually a henpecked husband, and his wife held all the money. He didn't dare to take a single cent!

Therefore, their superhero resistance team was actually paid by Frenchie alone!

Frenchie raised his head and looked at the big hole in the roof, which was still raining down bits and pieces! He couldn't help but feel his heart ache even more!

"Sir, we detected an energy spike in Miss Annie's location. Something seems to have happened. Would you like to check it out?"

"Show me where she is... No, show me the high-definition satellite image of her location!"

"Sir, projecting satellite image."

It took less than ten seconds for Dummy to project a satellite image from Li Yue's wrist. The clarity was superb.

The picture contained a house as well as surrounding buildings and streets.

Li Yue only needed to glance at it before getting a clear thought in his mind and disappearing without a trace!

Li Yue reappeared on the roof of the house. The room inside the house was constantly flashing with dazzling white light; it must be Starlight's superpower!

Li Yue used his X-ray vision to look inside the room. He saw two familiar figures fighting. One of them was Starlight, who was constantly shooting dazzling white light with both hands. The other figure was running around inside the room at an extreme speed, picking at Starlight while avoiding the light beam!

Li Yue also saw a middle-aged woman lying on the ground, her fate unknown!
