The Phoenix Woman said, "Dr. Ye, could you please address Little Rogue's issue first? She has the ability to absorb the powers or even the life force of anyone she touches, which makes her afraid to get too close to others. As a result, her personality seems a bit reclusive, and she is not well-liked by her classmates because they all fear her!"

"Oh?" Ye Hai finally noticed Little Rogue's ability. It was a remarkably powerful capability. Ye Hai looked at Little Rogue and said, "You're a very beautiful girl. It would be such a shame if you couldn't kiss your boyfriend! Oh, do you have a boyfriend, Little Rogue?"

Shyly, Little Rogue shook her head and replied, "Not yet. They all fear me; who would want to be my boyfriend?"

Recalling her own bitter experiences, she felt her nose tingle, nearly on the verge of tears.

"You don't have a boyfriend?" Ye Hai exclaimed, opening his mouth wide as if it was unbelievable that such a beautiful girl had no boyfriend. Then, with a smile, he said, "How about this: I'll be your boyfriend. How does that sound, beautiful girl?"

"Ah?" Little Rogue had never encountered such a direct declaration of affection before. She was taken aback, her little mouth agape, looking adorably astonished.

Even though she knew he was joking, warmth spread through her heart, and she couldn't help but feel a bit proud. To catch the attention of such an important figure satisfied her vanity to a large extent.

The Phoenix Woman smiled gently and playfully chided, "Dr. Ye, she's just a little girl. Is it really appropriate for a grown man like you to joke around like that?"

Ye Hai shrugged, "But I'm not much older than her; I'm only twenty this year. I think we have no problem in terms of age. At least there won't be a generation gap!"
