"What did you say? You say it has no effect? You say it has no effect on vampires? Just a moment ago, you clearly said it could solve the vampire virus!" Jamal Afari shouted loudly, his expression nearly frenzied, filled with disappointment and madness.

Blade's previously stoic demeanor finally showed a hint of change. He looked at the stubborn old man with pity, then turned to Ye Hai and asked solemnly, "Dr. Ye, do you have a way to transform vampires into ordinary humans?"

"Of course, I have a method," Ye Hai replied without hesitation. "This isn't difficult for me, as long as you give me time."

"Really?" Jamal Afari's mood lifted instantly. He looked at Ye Hai with hope and asked, "How long do you need to develop a solution for the vampires?"

The previous potion had already made this stubborn old man believe in Ye Hai's scientific capabilities, so he had shifted all his hopes onto this young man.

Ye Hai thought for a moment and said, "Probably one to two months. I'm quite skilled in genetics, so don't worry. But have you considered the consequences of this action?"

"What consequences?" Karen Jenson asked, puzzled.

Blade and Jamal Afari, however, grew serious. Jamal Afari sneered, "Those nocturnal creatures are a proud bunch. They view humans as their food; how could they willingly become food? Plus, vampires are terrified of death. Becoming an ordinary human would mean losing their long lives."

"Do vampires really live long lives?" Karen Jenson asked in surprise.

"At least they can live for hundreds of years," Jamal Afari said, raising an eyebrow coldly. "What, woman? Are you longing for a long life? Doesn't that make you want to become a vampire?"

He shook the gun in his hand menacingly, causing Karen Jenson to jump back in fright and rush behind Blade. Blade's expression showed helplessness. His hatred for vampires ran so deep that he had gone completely mad.

Ye Hai scoffed and said, "Vampires are long-lived creatures, but unfortunately, they have too many flaws. Besides being unable to survive in sunlight, they have a fatal thirst for blood; they are extremely eager to drink human blood, treating humans as their food."

After a pause, he continued, "Let's set those thoughts aside and get back on track. I want to discuss the matter of the Blood God. I intend to turn Blade into the Blood God. Do you have any objections?"

Blade replied firmly, "I have no objections."

Seeing Jamal Afari remain silent, Ye Hai asked, "Old Man, what about you?"

Jamal Afari stubbornly shook his head. "This child is just fine as he is. What if being turned into a Blood God poses a risk to humanity?"

"You should have confidence in your child," Ye Hai said, somewhat exasperatedly. "Have you considered that if I develop a solution for the vampires, they will go mad? At that point, you will be at odds with all the vampires on earth. In such a dangerous situation, do you really think Blade can handle it alone?"
