Tournament: Third Battle

The battlefield was now in crumbs, marks of explosions were seen all over the landscape with no more green light.

The Saiyan race is very destructive and doesn't seem to care much about the environment, I can only think that in the future we won't have any forests on the planet.

Borgos asks some Saiyans to put huge rocks in some holes and places where some explosions occurred.

With the battlefield, a little restored Borgos asks us to go to him to start the 3rd which will have 8 participants in total.

Getting into battle stance I look at my opponent who seemed to be "normal" he didn't seem to have a distorted personality he was the second youngest in this tournament and looked to be about 10 years old.

"Hi…" I say trying to bring up some topic since so far my opponents have taken the initiative for me to initiate dialogue and I didn't have very good social skills since I didn't have any friends and socialized very little with Saiyan children.

"Ha Ha Ha who would have thought our prodigy is a social illiterate" he mocks me.

"I just haven't had as many opportunities to socialize yet and it's completely understandable" I retort

"Enough boy I'm not interested in your problems mine is bigger than yours right now, even though you're a kid you're stronger than me and that's a problem," he says bluntly.

"A child? you look like you're only 10 years old and you think you're an adult?" I retort

"Didn't your parents teach you to respect your elders? Well it doesn't matter, I just found a way to defeat you" he says with a serious expression.

Before I ask which Borgos starts the battle.

Not noticing any of my opponent's moves, I'm intrigued and don't avoid asking.

"What do you plan to do since you didn't have the necessary strength, are you going to give up?"

"I don't plan on giving up I was just reluctant to use such a method to beat a child because it's too risky and can put many lives at risk" he says seriously.

"And what method would that be that is so powerful?" I ask with sharp eyes tossing an unripe fruit to pick it ripe (the bad guys always tell their plans when the good guys ask so why not try to get information the same way)

"do you see that moon that shines in the sky" he points up and smiles at me and looks at the sky.

At this moment his eyes turn red and he starts to gasp I thought about stopping him by cutting his tail with my sword, but in the end, I couldn't make a move my Saiyan bloodline wants a worthy challenge.

So I enveloped myself in a powerful blue aura that blasted the ground beneath my feet and prepared me for the battle to come.

Borgos POV

Seeing our prodigy get into battle stance and wrap himself in such a powerful aura I decide not to make a move and let things unfold as they are meant to be.

"Aren't you going to act sir?" asks a Saiyan next to me.

"No, this will strengthen our prodigy, even more, if he survives such an ordeal we will have another powerful companion in the coming war" I say seriously

"Understood" says the Saiyan

"So you just want to use my son as your non-war pawn?" asks a Saiyan who was watching the conversation

"Do you not agree with my Kabo methods?" I ask the Saiyan who reveals himself

(Kabo is the father of the MC I changed his old name because he seemed synonymous with Stalker thanks to a reader's suggestion)

"I agree that we need powerful warriors for war but your methods are using my son as cannon fodder and guess what he will not be your pet monkey" says Kabo who attacks me

The Saiyan next to me then blocks his way but after an exchange of punches and kicks, he is launched towards the vegetation colliding with the trees.

"I won't let you use my son Borgos he's not just a weapon" said Kabo seriously.

"You don't understand Kabo with your son we will finally take revenge on the villages that destroyed our homes, killed our friends, our family, and your parents" I said with resentment and hate as I glimpsed these scenes from the past.

Kabo then becomes bitter for a moment, but his expression becomes determined again.

"Borgos my son is small and doesn't deserve to be used to fight our fights where is your pride you don't want to take revenge with your own hands?" said Kabo.

"I still need your son Kabo and you won't stop me from getting my revenge!" I said enveloping myself in a red ki aura and getting into a battle stance.

"I'll stop you Borgos" said Kabo who enveloped himself in a white aura and lunged at me.

We exchanged several punches and kicks in which I had the advantage I didn't become the village elder because I was weak, but because of merit.

After exchanging several punches and kicks we quickly separated and enveloped ourselves into a ki aura we flew to the sky where we started to fight.

Blinking through the clouds exchanging blows until we land a powerful punch in each other's faces that pushes us away.

I keep my consciousness intact and blink behind Kabo and give him a powerful blow to the back of the head that knocks him unconscious.

Taking Kabo in my arms I lead him to my subordinate who had been attacked by Kabo earlier.

"Lord what are we going to do now Kabo interfered with the plans and he won't be silent when he wakes up" says the Saiyan

"Kabo is still my friend and I can't kill him, make sure you keep him under control I'll find a way to keep it a secret until the day of my revenge" I said to the Saiyan seriously as I enveloped myself in an aura of ki and leaves the place flying.

"He's not planning anything crazy is he, he seems to be traveling to the enemy village" muttered the Saiyan
