"Exactly!" Wu Chen replied without hesitation.

"Well then, Mr. Bofeng, you should know about the Nine-Tails' size and abilities?" Nick Fury inquired.

"Yes, I do." Without waiting for Nick Fury to say anything, Wu Chen jumped in: "The Nine-Tails, standing at about forty to fifty meters tall, with a length exceeding a hundred meters (including its tail), radiates intense heat and possesses nearly limitless chakra. It can unleash extremely dangerous ninjutsu, like the Tailed Beast Bomb!"

"That's massive!" Nick Fury's complexion became more grim. "By the way, Mr. Bofeng, what exactly is chakra?"

"Chakra is a unique power exclusive to us ninja. You can think of it as a special energy," Wu Chen explained. "In simple terms, the Nine-Tails never tires because its energy is almost inexhaustible."

Nick Fury's face darkened even more. "So, where is the sealing location?"

Times Square is the heart of New York City. Wu Chen chose this location to increase his leverage.

The impact of a colossal monster appearing there, tens to hundreds of meters in size, would be akin to detonating a massive C4 bomb, if not worse.

In such a scenario, S.H.I.E.L.D. alone would definitely not be able to handle the situation.

That's when it would be Wu Chen's time to shine!

S.H.I.E.L.D. would request assistance, and Wu Chen would agree, accepting compensation in the process. In this way, he gains a foothold in the proceedings, which is simply delightful!

"In such circumstances, it's not unreasonable to seek some compensation!"

"Indeed, it's not unreasonable," Nick Fury seized the point. "You mentioned a series of tasks just now?"

"Tracking down the mastermind behind the scenes, preventing the Nine-Tails from breaking free, and sealing it after it does break free — these three combined tasks constitute this series," Wu Chen explained. "So, is S.H.I.E.L.D. willing to provide compensation and commission me to complete this series of tasks?"
