Telling Emma
(A.N. Hello everyone, I first want to start with sorry about the slow releases of my chapters on this story. I have been stuck doing exams at the moment. I have also decided to start writing an original novel called 'Joy of Freedom' also. So please if you get time to read it that would be awesome. Do not worry about me dropping this novel since I have been liking how it has been going. I now have a direction of where I want to take this story. However, if you have anything you want to bring up please just leave a comment. I do look at the comments and love to interact when I can.)
I have been out for 2 days, it is not as long then what I was thinking about. Well, it is not like I have a lot to do until Tony is back from Afghanistan anyway. Guess I should work on strengthening my body so that it can hold my original power. Also, I need to find a Queen and 2 Royal Consorts. Going by the memories I got from my original life it is not easy to fill these spots. Emma would be just able to fill one of the Royal Consort spots, but not the Queen position since she is not strong enough.
Out of all the women, I have met the only one that comes close to the Queen's position capability would be Morgan. Thankfully the Old Earth clone loved the Marvel Universe and researched random things. Morgan Le Fey is her full name and one of the strongest women villains in the MU, just below the Scarlet Witch.
"Walter you can be excused, I would like to speak with Emma alone," I spoke after a moment to Walter. He just slightly bowed and left the room with the empty dishes that I ate. After He left the room I look at Emma and call out to her.
"Emma I would like to speak with you for a moment, and what we speak about will stay with us," I said to her in a serious tone. She picked up the seriousness in my voice and sat up with seriousness on her face.
"What would you like to speak with me about Jack?" Emma spoke after I did not say anything for a couple of minutes.
"First, the only reason we are talking right now like this is that I trust you," I said and then hesitated for just a moment before continuing. "I know that you are a meta-human. With the powers of turning your skin into diamonds and powerful psychic powers."
She looked at me in surprise for a moment and even stood up out of bed in a hurry. She then took an attitude of coldness saying, "How long have you known about me?"
"I have known since I just woke up," I said which surprised her even though she tried to hide her surprise. "Let's just say I am a meta-human also. However, my powers are connected to people I decide to be my partner, and they decide to be my partner too. I was in a comatose state because my powers awoke. Since I have decided to have you as my partner and I guess you decide to have me as a partner too." After saying that I could tell a red hue started to show on her face which she could not hide at all. Then I saw her face return to being cold, no it was even colder, I knew she pick up the hint I said.
"You said 'people' did you not? Meaning you are planning to have multiple partners?" I could feel the chill run up my back, cold sweat started to show on my face.
Taking a deep breath I just decide to bite the bullet, "I am not going to sugar coat it. Yes, I am going to have multiple partners. I plan to have at least 3 partners in total to fill the positions of my Queen and 2 Royal Consorts. These three positions will be able to unlock my full powers, as long as my body can handle them. However, The partners must have the power to fill these positions or my powers will not recognize them. I would like you to fill one of the Royal Consort positions. I do not want to be apart from you since I have come to love you. So will you give me the honor and be my Royal Consort?"
I felt so uneasy since I wanted her to stay by my side, but I would not force her to stay either. However, I will not give up getting my full powers back and figuring out what happened to my original body. I was in such a bad state that I needed both of my clones just to be stabilized. This means that I need my original powers and more to face what is coming in the future. I looked at Emma while she was lost in her thoughts for several minutes before looking at me.
"I figure that even if I ask you to just give up on your powers and be with you you would say no. Since you are asking me to be your Royal Consort, then being your Queen I guess I do not have the power to be in that position. That is rather vexing that I can not be your Queen, but I accept your offer to be your Royal Consort. However, right now I am not happy with you and I will state right now that I can not touch me for a month." After she said that I saw her turn around and walk right out of my room.
Well, I expected that to go a lot worse than it did. Still sucks that I can not touch her for a month, but that is what I get for being an asshole. Then I got out of bed and got dressed in my workout clothes before heading for the gym.
(Several Hours Later)
Panting I could not help but have a big grin on my face even though my body felt so heavy. I figured out that my body has the power of a pseudo-superhuman. I am not as strong as Captain America, but I am not that far from it. Also, I figured out that I have some psychic powers too, most likely because of Emma. I only figured this out when Walter came in with some water for me. I took a shower and walked to the dining room since it was time for lunch. When pasting my office I remembered that I made a stupid mistake in the past.
I walked into the office and headed for my computer before seating in front of it. Logging into my computer I find the document that outlined events that will happen. Even though if someone got a hold of the document it would not help them, since it was that badly made. I still deleted it and erased it from the computer. Good thing that I remembered about this dumbass mistake before someone got a hold of it. There are people out there that can bypass all my security systems and get it. The safest place for this information is in my mind and that is it. While leaving the office I saw Walter and called him over.
"Walter, can you run a magnet over my computer and completely dispose of it for me? Then order me a better computer." I decide to use this moment to test Walter's loyalty you me with my new power of mind reading. Since I was not sure if I could fully trust Walter when he was hired from Obadiah.
"Yes sir, I will have that done within the hour." That is what I heard him say before I concentrate on his mind thoughts. 'I wonder why the Master wants me to dispose of the computer like that. Oh, well it does not concern me at all. I will just get this done and come back to prepare tea for the Master and Mistress.'
Walter then slightly bowed and headed into the office to do the task. I could not help but smile at his thoughts knowing that he was loyal to me. However, I should monitor the disposal task to make sure he does not think about anything disloyal during the task. With that thought, I kept up my concentration on his mind thoughts during the whole thing, but there were no disloyal thoughts at all. Happy I started to walk to the dining room, but I never knew that Walter was not always loyal to me. It was only when Emma decided to be my partner, and change Walter's thoughts as his true Master and Mistress. It was only later that I found this out making me love her even more for everything she does for me.
