Ancient One once said that Bi Xiao had the genes for combat ingrained in him.
This was indeed the case.
Upon sensing that Lilith and Dormammu seemed to be conspiring against him, Bi Xiao's first reaction was not fear, but excitement.
Excitement was instinctual, but he quickly calmed down.
He began to ponder the scene of facing both Dormammu and Lilith together. Whether it was Dormammu or Lilith, both were beings high above. If it were an ordinary person triggering his foresight ability, he could see through their past and future, from birth to death.
But with Dormammu and Lilith, he could only see such a scene.
Clearly, this was because Bi Xiao was in crisis, and his instincts were triggered.
He didn't understand the cause and effect, but knowing the outcome made the reason unimportant. The important thing was that Lilith and Dormammu were targeting him.
Bi Xiao's original plan to hunt other demon lords was disrupted.
He needed to find Lilith first, and then kill her to break her alliance with Dormammu.
Bi Xiao never liked putting himself in dangerous situations. He always fought battles he was confident in winning. When he discovered a sign of danger, he had to nip it in the bud.
He was not reckless like Thor; caution was the foundation of his survival in this world.
He also did not want his pursuit of supremacy to be cut short due to negligence and overconfidence.
Tracking Lilith was not impossible, but it required a medium that possessed Lilith's own power. There was nothing like that in Lilith's castle; she was evidently very cautious and had taken everything away to prevent tracking.
At this moment, Bi Xiao suddenly thought of something.
An item he had previously encountered that had been in contact with Lilith's medium.
It was Lilith's portrait.
He had seen that portrait in a storage room in Forks Town, in the hands of Asmodeus. Later, he broke into Asmodeus's territory, but the portrait disappeared, obviously taken by Lilith.
"It seems there is a way."
...
Roar!
On a gloomy night, with light rain falling, Forks Town was once again tormented by the rain. The town was particularly quiet at night, especially due to the series of strange deaths that had recently occurred, causing the residents to be cautious and stay indoors at night.
This made the town even more desolate, but a few inhuman roars shattered the silence.
In an old church on the outskirts of town, originally empty, the church was now filled with people. The red and blue stained glass windows were shattered, and seven or eight figures burst in, transforming into giant wolves as they landed and joining the fight with the people inside.
The wolves quickly identified friend and foe and lunged at the group of invading vampires.
This was a small vampire army, numbering at least twenty, and the Cullen family was struggling against their attack. Fortunately, the wolves joined the battle, instantly changing the tide that had been against them.
The individual combat strength of the wolves was displayed in full. Even when faced with two vampires, they held their ground, with the powerful Jacob even taking on three.
Although the Cullen family were also vampires, they had only ever consumed animal blood. Over the years, this left them weaker compared to the roaming vampires who drank human blood.
Vampires had physical strength far superior to ordinary humans, with ghostly speed and immense power, causing severe damage to the church.
Boom!
A figure crashed through the crowd and slammed heavily into the church wall, embedding itself and causing the wall to cave in.
This figure then pulled itself out of the wall as if nothing had happened and rushed back into the fray.
At the center of the battle, Carlisle Cullen and his son Edward were fiercely fighting a blond vampire and a black vampire with long braided hair, their faces twisted with ferocious expressions and bared sharp teeth.
"Ha, I didn't expect you to ally with the wolves, living peacefully in this town as vampires with a bunch of wolves."
The blond vampire caught Carlisle's punch, moving in close, his savage aura on full display.
His gray-blue eyes stared intently at Carlisle, full of mockery.
"Get out of this town. You shouldn't be here."
Carlisle said coldly.
"Let me take one person, and we'll leave." The blond vampire grinned.
"Who?"
"Isabella Swan."
"Bella?" Edward, fighting the black vampire, paused at these words, and the black vampire seized the opening, punching Edward in the chest. As Edward winced in pain, the black vampire grabbed him and slammed him to the ground.
Boom!
The ground cracked under the impact, and Edward's consciousness blurred. Luckily, Jacob roared and leaped over to help Edward, forcing the black vampire to step back indifferently.
This move caused the vampire army to halt, driving back Alice, Rosalie, and the other wolves to retreat behind the blond vampires.
The Cullens and a few werewolves stood on one side, their faces grim as they watched the invaders. The strength of these vampires was astonishing.
The creation of such a small vampire army must have involved the consumption of a lot of human blood. More importantly, both Carlisle and Jacob felt a strange power from the blond and black vampires, not belonging to vampires.
"Why do you want Bella?" Jacob, transforming back to human form, asked.
"We're just following orders. Someone hired us to capture that woman and get our reward." The blond vampire, his red shirt open to reveal his abs, said nonchalantly.
"James, stop wasting time."
