The man couldn't believe what he was hearing and stared at me like he was looking at some kind of ghost before he calmed down and came to me while looking at me intently.
''If what your saying is true then this defies science!'' he said while raising his glass like he was scanning some kind of specimen.
'What? That's the first thing that comes to your mind after hearing this'.
''Look we just need to figure out a way to get out of here''.
Hearing this the man snapped out of his gaze he then said.
''either way we are still going to die because if you're not Tony Stark then that means you don't know how to make the Jericho weapon to negotiate with them for maybe something else like a treatment to elongate your life''?
''Huh? Negotiate with criminals and terrorists, that's beside the point, they'll achieve their aims and you'll be left hanging if not dead, and beside that even though they do happen to let you go after making the Jericho weapon, do you know the consequences of aligning with terrorists to make mass weapons of murder against the country?''
''Either way my life would be lost''.
'Or this new life I got in other terms.
''If you aren't Tony Stark and you aren't from this world, how do you know the consequences of aligning with terrorists, all what you said was exactly what the great Tony Stark would say''.
''His memories, I have his memories, bits and pieces here and there scattered in me head like fragments of reality''.
''That makes it hard to believe you though''.
''Does it matter that much?'' I asked.
After a sigh he then said ''No''
Following that my room mate went back to his bed to take a good rest as he had already resigned his fate to death anytime it comes.
Meanwhile me on the other hand, stuck in thoughts on how I can get out of here alive.
Most reasonable way is to use what they're asking for and what I have access to my utmost benefit.
Looking at the battery in hand and the wire connected to the electromagnet, a thought came into mind.
'The reason I am bound to die in a week is because though the electromagnet would help in slowing the shrapnel from reaching my heart, it doesn't exactly stop the shrapnel and
blood is flowing to the heart acting as a counterforce.'
'But what if I could substitute this battery for something smaller and powerful'.
That was a light bulb idea from all the memories of Tony Stark which knowing his ability was not impossible.
And so, he began thinking about likely substitutes for a greater power source though smaller that he could use to power the electromagnet giving it greater pulling force because the moment his so-called battery weakens, or dies is the day he dies.
With equipment he had like the missiles and its scraps, it would be possible to make it, a miniaturized arc reactor.
