8. First dungeon { true monster}

Slime: That monster looks like the same monster from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Jin-woo: what?.

Slime: it's nothing kid.

It was about to attack Rudra but Slime used an ice attack to turn his attention towards them.

Kraken turns his head and with his hungry eyes, it rushed towards them.

Buuuuuuuu! All eight of the Kraken's tentacles emerged from the lake. They swept the island, and the teeth inside the tentacles suckers threateningly rattled against each other.

'Damn it, it is faster in the lake'. then they started to run but the monster was already too near to catch them.

Then Slime asked the great sage for a suggestion. From the information, slime got from her. He thought of a plan.

Slime: hey kid, I have a plan to kill that monster but I need your help.

Jin: what plan

After he told about the plan he agreed

Jin: ok I got it but are you sure, you can do it?

Slime: yes kid. Believe in me.

Jin: got it.

Crasssh!

The Kraken's large tentacle was about to crush them. But before it can attack them Jin attacked the monster with black lighting. Causing the monster to roar.

Uuahhhu!

Taking this chance Jin stabbed his sword at one of the tentacles and he used another common skill.

Jin-woo brought that skill from the shop.

[ Mana blast]

From his sword, he attacked the monster with a mana blast.

One of the Kraken's tentacles exploded and dropped down. Slime didn't waste time and rushed towards and then absorbed that.

Uuahhhu!

Kraken then attacked with all remaining tentacles on him.

Thud! Thud! Thud! Jin Woo skillfully avoided the falling tentacles and then two tentacles were about to attack him.

Crasssssh! At that moment, two of the Kraken's tentacles exploded and dropped off. The Kraken struggled in pain. Slime's fire attack had directly hit the Kraken. Then he absorbed the fallen tentacles.

Buoaaaaaa! The Kraken cried out and changed its target to slime. However, jin woo didn't give waste time and destroyed another tentacle.

Uoaaaaahh!

Kraken understood that he need to climb the island to attack both of them.

Kraken moved even more aggressively than before. It rushed towards the land without even caring about his tentacles that had fallen off.

Buuuuuu! After staying hidden underneath the surface, the Kraken finally revealed itself. It slammed its tentacles violently against the ground and climbed on top of the land. Then, it rushed towards the place where jin woo is there.

[ Mana Blast Slash] [ Blue Fire blast]

Then Jin used the Mana blast skill as a slash attack and Slime used a powerful fire attack on Kraken. Both attacks are very powerful.

Half of its body flew away while four more of its tentacles were shredded apart.

Kraken understood he is in danger. It started to run away.

The Kraken was still able to move even after taking such powerful attacks, as expected of one of the strongest monsters that existed in the ocean;

But Slime used his predator skill and absorbed it.

Slime: Wow, I got some pretty skills fu fu fu, now I can shapeshift into Kraken.

Jin: it's over, my life getting crazy day by day.

Slime: it's just a beginning kid.

Jin: but I didn't kill it.

Slime: don't worry Jin, the system will give good rewards for your hard work.

Jin: yeah I think Rudra defeated her. Let's go.

Then slime jumped on his shoulders.

Slime: hey Jin, tell me more about your world monsters. I just hope my world monsters won't be like yours.

Rudra pov.

After Kraken left following Jin and Slime. He faced the meat parasite.

??? : Now you will die just like them.

Rudra: Aren't you underestimating my friends? They are not weak.

??? : now it doesn't matter you are alone.

It started to grow her body big enough to look down on Rudra like an ant.

Rudra: I still didn't show my powers to you.

??? : What?

Rudra: You smell like rotten shit! Didn't you wash your body with water?

??? : How dare you! Know your place!

When she shouted, the whole area rumbled and echoed. Mouths from all over the place rang in unison and created a chilling effect. Yet, it only made Rudra clean his ear holes and blow his earwax.

This bitch is getting in my way.

'She is enemy! Kill her! Torture her! Eat her life force!'

Rudra suddenly started to hear multiple voices in his mind.

Then he suddenly started to laugh like an idiot

[Vampire prince title activated]

Rudra: hahaha haha, I want you to ask a few questions before we begin our fight. What is your name?

??? : Nol-Nolle

She felt something is off with him. His whole aura changed

Rudra: Nolle, what a good name! Did you ever face a vampire before?

Nolle: no.

Rudra: I see, then let me show Vampire powers.

He gave an evil smile and his eyes are glowing like a red sun.

The next second a blood rain started to fall on that place.

Nolle: why is raining here? It's red.

Then she saw a rip in space and blood coming from it.

Rudra: now Nolle, see the power of a vampire.

Nolle: ha

Suddenly blood humanoid creatures came from the blood and started to move towards her.

???: Join us! Join us! Join us!

All of them started saying the same words.

Nolle: bastards die

She attacked them with her hands.

But those creatures grabbed her meat hands and ripped them apart.

Nolle: Ahhhhaah

Nolle was unable to properly talk and huffed in fury.

Nolle: You fucking bastaaaaaards!

Rudra: Nolle, they are fallen soldiers and I am the one who killed them. You are going to join them soon.

Nolle: stop them! Stop it.

Those creatures started to eat her alive.

Rudra: Having infinite mana is a cheat don't you think?

Nolle: what are you?

Rudra: come on! Fight back!

He started to move towards her while she is regenerating and those creatures eating her.

After coming near to her and she started to feel fear.

Pierce! 

Rudra's arm pierced into Nollie's lower body, which was made out of meat clumps.

Rudra: As expected, it was here!

Rudra has two cores in her body. One is spirit core and another is nolle core.

Nolle: Noooo…!

An abundant amount of mana that was in Nolle's hand was scattered, and this wasn't the only thing that happened.

Drip! Drip!

Nolle: Ah, n-o! Give m-core

Nolle grabbed onto Rudra's arm, but her resistance was extremely weak. As Rudra's arm was pulled out more, Nolle's appearance became stranger and stranger. She looked as if she was forcibly suppressing an explosion that was about to erupt. Her body swelled up in many areas, and her skin stretched out as if blood veins were about to burst.

Nolle's voice was frantic.

Nolle's voice sounded as if she was almost crying by the end. Rudra realized that Nolle was not lying. She just wanted to live, and if he brought her along, their travels might become easier. However, Rudra's reply was to just put more strength into his hand. Nolle also realized this.

Rudra: I don't care about you and I don't believe you.

Rudra replied without an ounce of hesitation.

Rudra breaks the red object of Nolle.

The response was immediate.

Nolle:Kuiehahahohahiiii!

A strange and indescribable voice burst out of Nolle's mouth. Including her body, all the meat clumps she gathered swelled up simultaneously.

Nolle: Kieahhhh!

All the lips let out different, individual screams, but they didn't last long, as a blue ray of light began to shoot out of all the eyes, nose, lips, and ears. It was mana, an overwhelming one that was impossible to fully wrap one's mind around. The Mana was powerful enough to even make Rudra take a step away

Ahhhhhh! Ah! Ahhhhhh!

He destroyed her core and took her life.

Nolle shrieked desperately. Her cries were distressing enough to make any listeners grimace, including even her opponents.

Crash!

Nolle's body exploded. The rough current of mana shredded her body into pieces. Her main body and all the body parts scattered around the space burst without a single exception.

Nolle's face fell to the ground, and her movements completely stopped. She was dead. Then Blood monsters consumed her.

All the blood disappeared from there.

Slid!

His friends came to that place

Gojo: That must be the original form of the tree.

As Gojo said, the appearance of the tree changed. The water droplets that had hung instead of green leaves were gone, replaced by clear streams of water spewing out from every branch of the tree.

The water streams were filled with mana and flowed past their roots, through the crevices in the ground, and down to the lake. It was a truly mystical sight. The bluish light scattering from the tree appeared a bit brighter than before.
