Particle Accelerator Explosion

" That's some nice skills you got there handsome." The woman he had met when he came out of the washroom, the infamous black widow was now standing in front of him, with a small smile.

" Let me guess we won't be able to settle this peacefully." Duke sighed as he took of his earpiece and glasses.

" We could've. If only you didn't beat the shit out of those agents back there." She smiled and readied herself, before she rushed towards Duke.

" Bang! Bang!" The two of them clashed in a a fierce battle, as they tried to overpower each other with their explosive attacks. Natasha had the experience and a more refined fighting style, as her body gracefully moved and dodged all of Duke's kicks and punches, while occasionally he trying to take him down.

Meanwhile Duke held the advantage in strength, speed and durability, as well as incredible reflexes. His every attack was timed and accurate, as he moved like an experienced parkour artist and taekwondo master, utilizing every part of his body.

" Bang! Bang!" Duke threw out a quick spinning kick combo, as Natasha dodged and tried to take advantage, by cooling herself around his body every time he landed.

" Not bad at all kid." Natasha who had been forcefully separated from Duke flipped back a few meters and landed gracefully as she smiled. Duke didn't respond, he tried to anticipate what move she would try to make after that.

" You know, I normally don't do this, but I want to offer you a deal. Become an agent of shield, or die." She said as she pulled out a gun from God knows where.

" How about neither." Duke chuckled and readied himself. "Bang!!" She didn't even hesitate and fired several bullets at him. Duke frowning at the current predicament immediately moved as well, making calculated steps in a fluid motion. He sidestepped twice, before making an advanced corkscrew flip that would put even the most experienced parkour artist to shame.

Natasha's eyes widened in surprise, as she saw Duke instantly arrive before her. She immediately threw a punch which he deflected with his palm and was about to fire another round with the bullets in her hand when he instantly disarmed her with his right hand, and kicked her backwards.

" What sort of technique was that?" She asked as she stabilized herself in slight surprise. Not even the moves of her own partner and perhaps one of the most experienced figures in her field, Clint could actually surprise her. Yet this kid had executed such a beautiful and planned technique that shocked her to the core.

" Aarrgghhh!!" Duke was about to joke, when they heard a loud scream and turned around. Immediately they saw everyone who had entered the Oscorp facility rush out in fear. " Beep! Beep!" Natasha felt her phone vibrate as she took it out, still keeping her eyes on Duke who seemed distracted.

" Where are you? There's been an accident, get the car, we're leaving immediately." She heard a stern voice which caused her to frown.

" I guess we're going to have to do this someday." She smiled, before pointing her fists at the distracted boy. Suddenly, three sharp needles that were covered in an electric energy shot out and pierced his body, as he staggered and let out a groan.

Seeing that, she smiled and left, as fast as she came.

" Uughhh! Duke groaned, as he forcefully pulled the needles out of his body, accompanied by a small jet of blood. "Samantha get me access to the cameras, what the hell is going on?!" Duke stood up sharply, as he put on his glasses and said while taking deep breaths.

" Um Sir, it might seem that there was a slight miscalculation and the particle accelerator seems to be malfunctioning. All cameras and drones have been shutdown by an electromagnetic pulse." The AI spoke.

" Shit!!" " Old man!!! You guys need to get out of there now!! Old man!!" He immediately put on his earpiece, as he tried to connect to the old man, however her wasn't able to reach him.

Taking off the earpiece and the glasses, he immediately rushed forward, as he planned on rushing into the building to reach the old man in time and bring him out.

" Crack! Crack! Boom!!" In the sky, dark clouds gathered as lightning streaked and thunder boomed.

" Boommm!!" Just as he was a few meters away from the facility, it exploded, as a massive wave of dark energy swept out. Duke who was rushing at full speed was not able to halt in time, when he was sent flying by the wave of dark energy, as well as the force from the overall explosion.

...

" Uughhh." A few minutes later, Duke who was lying unconscious in a small crater opened his eyes as he groaned in pain. Trying his possible best, he stood up staggeringly, as he held his head in pain. His whole body was covered in third degree burns, as some sort of black steam covered his body.

" Old man! Old man!!" Gathering all of his willpower, he looked up and saw the Oscorp facility and the entire area around it looking as if a nuclear warhead had been dropped there. He immediately took a few steps forward, still holding on to a thread of hope that somehow, somehow, the old man may still be alive somewhere.

However nature seemed to have plans for our protagonist. " Crack! Crack! Boom!' The thunder and lightning which boomed in the sky seemed to take his actions as defiance.

Suddenly, a large bolt of lightning, the size of a tree fell from the sky and smashed into his body, sending him flying a couple of meters away, as he seemingly took his last breath, his eyes still fixed on the collapsed facility.
