Jean attacks, Uncovering Truths

The massive fiery bird seemed to draw closer to them with every passing second. At that point, Reed, Stark and Dr. Hank raised their heads a sense of fear gripped their very being.

"Boom." The next second, a portal materialized behind Reed, as two figures walked out slowly. The first figure was a tall man wearing a black suit with an antenna like device on his forehead. The second figure was a woman with long red hair dressed in a green and yellow suit.

The man looked at Reed with a gaze filled with dissatisfaction and disappointment, as he raised his head and glared at the incoming fiery bird with dread.

"Argh!" Several miles away from the main battlefield, several human beings run to shelter, as a sense of fear and weakness gripped their souls, when they saw the huge bird. "Uhh Nat?!" Clint who was needing his wounds suddenly cursed when he saw the fiery bird and called out Nat who came running, however, when she noticed the phenomenon, her eyes widened in shock.

"Boom!!!" The fiery figure landed on the ground, as a large crater formed below her. Instantly, a large wave of fiery energy swept out, disintegrating every molecule of matter it passed by. Dr. Strange who had been knocked out by Duke had arrived on the scene at that moment.

With determination filled eyes, he performed multiple hand seals, as a large shield materialized around every single figure on the battlefield, protecting them from the fiery blast.

However, after the energy blast, he plopped to the ground, as blood spurted out of his mouth.

"Jean!! We don't want to fight you. The earth can't withstand a battle of such immensity. Please.....leave." Reed roared out, as he glared at the figure dressed in a red full body suit with flames burning in her eyes.

"Awww, I missed you too Reed." Jean chuckled, before she waved her hand and instantly, his body began to swell like a balloon.

"No!!! Stop!!! Reed!!!" Sue and the others cried out, as they rushed forward, however, they were sent flying several meters away by a burst of Psionic energy.

"Boom!!" Before any of them could process what had just happened to them, a loud explosion set off, followed by a rain of blood and meat chunks flying everywhere.

The entire battlefield went silent. At that point, everyone was trying to understand what had just happened. The smartest man in earth, who could stretch his body to untold limits, coupled with an infinity stone had been exploded right before their eyes, and none of them could even react, let alone help out.

"Reed!" Sue was the first to react, as she roared out, with tears dripping down her cheeks. In a fit of rage, she rushed towards Jean and trapped her in a shield, however, the shield exploded a few seconds after it was formed. "If you love him so much, then go be with him." Jean smiled and waved her hand.

Instantly, Sue was enveloped in a round ball of Psionic energy. "Shit!!!" Johnny cursed out, as his body erupted in flames and he blasted towards Jean, however, before he could even get closer, his body was seized by a telekinetic hold. Smiling, Jean clenched her fists, and instantly, a wave of Phoenix flames engulfed Johnny who began to scream, at the top of his lungs.

The Psionic construct Sue was trapped in began to shrink, as her body was squeezed with enormous force. "Argh!" She let out a roar, however the next second, her entire body exploded, a gory scene that would forever be etched on the minds of the heroes.

Ironically, Johnny, who was known to be the king of flames was incinerated to death by a higher flame; the flames of the Phoenix, as the ash of his remains were carried away by the wind.

"Black Bolt! We need your help!" Hank shrank himself, and stood on Black Bolt's shoulder as he nodded.

The next second, he took a step forward, and opened his mouth. "Everybody get back!!" Stark roared out, as the remaining heroes immediately run for cover.

"Die" "Boom!!"With a single word, an extremely powerful and massive wave of energy burst out, with a force strong enough to destroy even Gods, followed by a massive explosion which completely eradicated every single object within a 35km radius.

Jean was the target of true energy wave and explosion was blasted flying, as parts of her body disintegrated along with the city.

"Boom!" A figure covered in lightning bolt moving at hypersonic speed immediately came to a stop within a small beautiful jungle, as lightning jolted of his body.

The next second, he placed a figure in his arms gently on a patch of grass before him, as time returned to normal. "Holy shit!!" "This is impossible!! I knew you were fast, but this is outrageous!!!" Shuri who had been carried back by Duke to Wakanda in under four minutes exclaimed in shock.

Duke retracted his helmet, as he began to take deep and steady breaths, however, he recovered within seconds. He had never run that amount of distance with a constant velocity which was near his top speed before.

"No no no! This isn't right. No one should be able to move this fast! Extrapolating from Newton's third law, moving at such speeds is supposed to trigger air molecules and influx them with the same amount of energy you're moving with!! It's virtually impossible! This shatters Newton's laws from every possible angle!" She roared out in her thick African accent as Duke raised an eyebrow.

"Look! We didn't come here to discuss scientific theories okay. Let's get to work!" Duke said as he stretched his back, and she nodded. She then tapped on her arm, as a massive gate opened right in front of him. It was as if an illusion was being cast right before his eyes. She grabbed him, and they entered the huge gate.

Upon entering, Duke saw a futuristic civilization with advanced flying jets and motors, as he clicked his tongue in appreciation. "Enough with the sightseeing! The royal palace is right there. Let's go!"

She pointed to a massive tower, as Duke nodded and carried her, as he blasted towards the massive tower.

"My queen! We have detected two intruders within the kingdom." Within a huge palace, a beautiful middle aged woman sat on a throne. But her brows furrowed when she received a message from a holographic figure before her.

"Assemble the royal guards! Bring them to me!" She instantly waved her hand, as the hologram disappeared, and walked out.

However, the next second, she saw a bolt of lightning appear before her, and the next moment, she saw her daughter running towards her with a smile.

"Mother." Shuri hugger her mother, while multiple guards surrounded Duke who rolled his eyes at them. "It's alright Okoye. He's with me." Shuri waved her hands at the head of the guards, a bald headed woman holding unto a long spear

"I was worried about you, you disobedient child!" The queen cried as she hugged her daughter tightly. "It's alright mother. I'm fine. I came back to build something for my friend here." She said and pointed to Duke.

"Alright! I'll allow it, but we need to talk afterwards. " The queen said, as Shuri smiled and led Duke into the palace.

They then walked into a futuristic lab with multiple holograms, as Shuri walked to the desk in the center, and began to work. "Please take a seat here." She signaled to Duke who sat on a comfortable chair. "I order to build a compatible device, I need to scan your cells first and see what would be compatible." She smiled and took a device which emitted a red infrared light which scanned Duke from top to toe.

"Interesting." Soon, the results were displayed on her screen, as she looked on with interest. "Your cells are in a state of continuous autolysis, regeneration and adaptation to the dark energy being produced within your body." She spoke after a bit of thought. "Meaning, the only compatible device would be tachyons. I'm so happy I kept a vial of liquid tachyons secretly. " She smiled and said.

"What are tachyons?" Duke asked, as he stood up. "Tachyons are subatomic particles that have the potential to travel at the speed of light or even further." She said, as she began to assemble some materials before her.

"Wait, So I'll be able to run at the speed of light if I get it?" He asked in surprise.

"Not necessarily." She said, as sweat trickled down her cheek. "The tachyons are fueled by the amount of energy they can siphon from any form of energy." She added.

"Meaning, they can increase my speed indefinitely so long as I feed them an infinite amount of energy." He sighed and said.

"Good." She nodded. "Do you guys have any snack bar or restaurant or anything? I'm starving." He rubbed his stomach and said.

.....Earth 616, New York....

Within a large abandoned factory, a red haired figure in a black suit was completely unconscious, surrounded by multiple robotic figures who seemed to be putting together a device.

"Uhhh." After a few seconds, her eyelids fluttered open, as she sat up, but the immense pain she felt from her body made her groan. "I thought you were never going to wake up." She saw a mean looking robot sitting a few meters from her, and beside him, was a man in a scary silver robotic suit.

"I'll spare her because of you." The robot spoke to the man in the robotic suit, before it walked away. "Sigh. What a troublesome fellow...." The man in the robotic suit walked forward, as he glared at the redhead, before chuckling.

"What do you want?" She asked him fearlessly, as she stealthily tapped a microphone embedded in her ear....

Avengers Tower....

"Clint where's Nat?!" The Avengers were once more seated, as Clint entered the room with a metallic coffin and in it was a red skinned figure with its eyes deeply shut.

"She's been captured." He said with a sigh. "What?!" Stark and Banner glared at him incredulously. "She was captured by that Saviturd or whatever thing!" Clint roared, as he took a seat.

"Sir. I'm receiving an incoming signal from miss Romanoff's earphone." Suddenly, Stark's AI spoke, as the room turned silent.

"Put it on speaker." He said, as everyone stood up.

"What do I want? I just came here to talk." Within Ultron's lair, lightspeed crouched down in front of Natasha, as the lights within his armor dimmed significantly. The next second, the back of the robotic suit opened up, as a white haired handsome male with long ears walked out and sat on the seat.

Nat squinted her eyes, as she tried to process what was going on exactly.

"You have caught my eye, Natasha Romanoff. And I'm planning on taking you as my wife. Let's take this time to get to know each other properly. " He said with a small smile, as Nat clenched her fist, along with Banner, Clint and Cap who were listening intently.

"I already know who you are. Savitar; God of speed of the dark elves, devourer of planets." She repeated what Thor had told them as the white haired man smiled. "It seems the Asgardian has told you a lot, but he's not totally correct."The moment he said that, every member of the Avengers turned around and looked at each other as Thor clenched his teeth.

"I am a member of the dark elf tribe, but Savitar was my father. He was the God of Speed of our tribe, the previous avatar of the Speed Force. " The white haired male chuckled and said. Tony and Banner couldn't help but frown.

"If you're not an avatar of the Speed Force, then how can you move so fast?" Nat asked, hoping Stark and the rest were listening to the conversation.

"Oh? It seems you know about the Speed Force? I'm guessing you've met the current avatar?" He asked with his hands on his chin.

"I see." He squinted his eyes, before a smile formed on his face. "My Speed is but a mimicry of the actual affects of the Speed Force, an ability I inherited from my father." He smiled and said.

"In other words, my father was the avatar of the Speed Force, and due to his genes being infested with the cosmic energy of the Speed Force, I inherited the power to move at hypersonic Speed, but not the Speed Force itself." He explained after seeing the confusion on her face.

"Nat, if you can hear me, ask him this. If the Speed Force has a new avatar, what happened to his father?!" Thor suddenly spoke out, as everyone else looked at him.

"So if the Speed Force has a new avatar, then what happened to your father?" Nat heard Thor's voice and asked.

"Sadly, He was killed by the mad titan, his biggest fear." He stood up and said.

"Who is the mad titan?!" Nat asked, requested by Stark. "Since you want to know, I'll tell you everything my queen." He smiled and said.
