"This..."
"My God, isn't that a S.H.I.E.L.D. aircraft carrier?"
The staff at Worthington Pharmaceuticals on Demon Island were utterly confused. However, they quickly realized that S.H.I.E.L.D. was a shadow of its former self, with its aircraft carriers now divided between the mutant factions and HYDRA.
"Damn it! We're under attack!"
At that moment, they sensed something was wrong. The massive shadow from the aircraft carrier blotted out the sunlight, plunging everything into darkness.
Click!
Cannons extended from the bottom of the aircraft carrier, their terrifying barrels angled towards all of Demon Island's defensive structures. There were hundreds of visible barrels alone. No one expected the Utopian mutant faction to be so audacious, launching a direct aerial bombardment with their aircraft carrier.
Buzz!
Each cannon began to glow, and amidst the panicked screams below, cosmic energy extracted from the Tesseract was unleashed.
Boom!
Brilliant beams of light began the bombardment. Under the dazzling beams, all defensive structures outside Worthington's headquarters, as well as ships in the surrounding waters, exploded into fiery orange blazes. The island itself was pounded relentlessly, cracking apart under the onslaught.
The first wave of bombing alone dismantled all of Demon Island's defense systems.
"Since they want to claim that mutants are diseased and aim to neutralize our X-gene abilities, let them be erased from history," Emma Frost said coldly.
Demon Island, once a prison for heavy criminals, now housed a pharmaceutical base—a huge insult to mutants. After the rise of the Supreme Mutant, those seeking treatment at Worthington Pharmaceuticals had begun to flee, initially wanting only to escape discrimination and injustice. Now, mutants had risen up, realizing they were never diseased.
However, Worthington Pharmaceuticals forcibly detained them for continued X-gene research. Now, the Utopian faction had come to liberate them.
Whoosh!
Harrier jets launched from the aircraft carrier's deck, transporting waves of mutant troops to the ground.
"We're doomed... we're doomed..."
Worthington Pharmaceuticals' personnel never imagined that the defensive system, once capable of withstanding Magneto, would crumble in an instant.
"Don't even think about it."
A thunderous roar suddenly echoed from the sky. In the terrifying sonic blast, a colossal figure, hundreds of feet tall, emerged, towering over the land. As the giant approached the aircraft carrier, the sight alone terrified those on the deck.
"What is that thing?"
The giant was enormous, his face filling their entire field of vision. Even the breath from his nostrils transformed into a gale, sweeping across the deck and making it hard to stand.
"Sink!"
The giant's roar echoed like thunder, and as his massive arm swept through the air, the sonic boom knocked a Harrier jet out of the sky, exploding on impact with the colossal arm. His giant hand, poised to strike the aircraft carrier, threatened to sink it in an instant.
"This is bad!"
Emma Frost gasped, unleashing a powerful psychic wave to disrupt the giant's mind.
"Don't even think about it!" Wanda also reacted, using her chaos magic in surprise. But the giant only shook his head in pain, becoming more enraged. His attacking hand, despite being momentarily hindered by Wanda's red magical aura, broke through and continued its path.
Juggernaut on the deck roared in frustration, unable to reach the giant, appearing like an ant in comparison.
As the giant's shadowy hand, imbued with immense power, threatened to smash the aircraft carrier, he suddenly felt an invisible force stopping his arm from moving further.
"You!"
Goliath's eyes widened as he saw a figure emerging from spatial ripples in the sky, effortlessly raising his right hand. Su Chen used telekinesis to neutralize the attack.
"Damn it!"
Goliath recognized Su Chen as the most formidable opponent, feeling the overwhelming pressure. He cursed inwardly.
"Bastard!"
Using Pym Particles, Goliath's body and strength were exponentially enhanced. He struggled against the telekinetic force, managing to push forward a few meters. But within a second, the invisible grip tightened, immobilizing his giant hand.
"I don't believe it!"
Goliath couldn't stand being looked down upon. With his other hand, he tried to swat Su Chen away.
Boom!
A powerful telekinetic blast struck Goliath's face, like a slap. The impact unbalanced him, easily deflecting his attack.
"Damn it!"
Goliath cursed, feeling humiliated. Su Chen continued to toy with him, telekinetic waves forming giant invisible hands, slapping his face repeatedly.
"Having a big face is such a hassle; it takes effort to slap it properly."
Su Chen's mocking words made Goliath's shame unbearable.
