Buildings collapsed one after another. The river winding along the city's edge evaporated entirely under a strange heat. No one could imagine that the battlefield between the two was so exaggerated.

The one behind all this chaos was a strange man in a hospital gown, seemingly a monster escaped from a mental asylum!

Seeing everyone's confidence waver, a mutant shouted angrily.

As quickly as that, another explosion rang out in the distance. David launched another attack. His sinister laughter echoed, cold and chilling like a nocturnal bird. In that moment, more personalities and consciousnesses emerged in his mind.

"Oh my god!"

Far away, the White Queen, Emma, could see demonic shadows swirling around the enemy. It was as if ghosts haunted him, with each personality staring menacingly at Su Chen in the heat of battle.

Given such a terrifying sight, just a glance brought a chill down the spine, and one's mind would be overwhelmed with pain. Despite this, Su Chen moved as if nothing was happening, like a dancer on a blade's edge, calm and collected amid hundreds of attacks. His slender, gaunt figure was surrounded by a thin energy wave. So far, none of the attacks had penetrated this thin energy shield; his black hoodie remained spotless despite the intense combat.

David roared, unable to stand his opponent's calm, composed demeanor any longer. He stopped the indiscriminate bombardment, realizing it only fueled Su Chen's energy absorption.

At this moment, he changed tactics, aiming for a single, decisive strike. Multiple Omega-level abilities emerged simultaneously.

Space solidified completely. Air molecules halted. Explosive flames paused in mid-bloom, water droplets hung suspended, and everything froze as if someone had hit the pause button on a movie.

David sneered. Different voices from the personalities in his mind echoed: 'Welcome,' 'What a cute boy,' 'I like him,' 'Bring him to us'.... The chaotic noise was familiar to David, who had long grown accustomed to his family's voices. The more lively, the better—only then did it feel like home.

David's figure instantly moved, appearing right before Su Chen. He didn't waste time; his hand turned intangible, aiming to phase through Su Chen's defenses and crush his heart directly.

David grinned wildly, excitement vibrating through his throat as he anticipated claiming Su Chen's consciousness and soul.

But at that moment...

A sense of warning surged from his instincts.

What was going on?

David hesitated between his instincts and his greed.

"Something's wrong!!"

In less than a moment, various personalities in his mind began screaming. 'Run.' At that moment, Su Chen, frozen in time, moved his eyes to stare at the approaching figure.

Even though molecules around him had stopped, even though time itself was frozen, Su Chen defied this logic, raising a fist and punching towards David.

David, his mind filled with screaming personalities, frowned, turning his body intangible just in time. The punch passed through a layer of air.

David smirked, refusing to retreat. He wanted his prize.

So, his other intangible arm reached out, intending to phase into Su Chen's body and solidify, aiming to crush his organs from within.

But at that critical moment, within arm's reach, Su Chen's other hand moved, trying to grab David's intangible wrist.

This time, it worked.

"Impossible!"

David's heart skipped a beat.

Within less than half a second, the first punch missed, but Su Chen's other hand had grabbed David's intangible arm.

"Molecular phasing, I can do that too..."

Su Chen sneered, creating ripples of distortion like fishing in a river, pulling David out of his intangible state. Then, another punch landed squarely on David's body.
