"Your battle with the Hulk was too intense; everything around you is practically in ruins."

At this moment, a vast and overwhelming mental force descended. The voice was gentle, without a hint of hostility.

"I deeply regret not discovering you sooner, allowing them to commit such atrocities. Believe me, I know you are innocent."

Su Chen frowned. He couldn't pinpoint the source of the voice, which appeared abruptly and clearly in his mind.

For a moment, Su Chen was deep in thought, becoming increasingly vigilant.

"I'm not your enemy."

As these words echoed, Su Chen's surroundings changed. The city ruins were replaced by a grand, classical palace hall. An elderly figure in a wheelchair appeared before him.

"Professor Charles."

Su Chen instantly recognized the man. He had researched General Stryker's exploits and found many references to Professor Charles and Magneto Erik. Charles was a leader of mutants, known as the Master of Minds. It was said that his brain was the most valuable on Earth, capable of linking to the minds of all people on the planet using a cerebral amplifier. Most lives hung on his moral judgment.

Such a fact was terrifying.

But Su Chen faced this being without fear. He knew he was now in a mental world created by the elderly Professor Charles.

The evolving system clearly presented the genetic information. The presence of the Mind Master only enhanced Su Chen's mental energy and resistance.

"You shouldn't have approached me like this," Su Chen said coldly.

"No, if I hadn't been ill recently, I would have stopped you immediately. Everything could have been salvaged, my child," Professor Charles continued, still gentle.

"So, you're here to stop me?" Su Chen chuckled dismissively.

Suddenly, the grand hall trembled as if struck by an earthquake. Professor Charles frowned, knowing this was Su Chen's mental energy resisting. This was a spiritual world, a mental palace he had created. But now, it was crumbling.

The marble floor cracked, dust fell from the ceiling, and stone slabs collapsed.

"How..."

Professor Charles was stunned, unable to believe his eyes. He knew Su Chen had no previous mental abilities. But now, the thirteen-year-old boy's physique was rapidly growing within his mental world, a sign of immense mental energy.

"Why do you think you can stop me?" Su Chen sneered.

In a world where mental energy dictates reality, everything imagined could be achieved. It all depended on one's mental power.

The appearance of the Mind Master spurred Su Chen's evolution further, solidifying his mental barrier and unlocking the use of mental energy. He became a towering giant, like a god, looking down on the figure in the wheelchair.

"Impossible..."

Professor Charles was astounded. How could a mutant who survived a nuclear explosion through energy absorption and release suddenly develop mental abilities? The fight with the Hulk showed no combat training; he simply grew stronger from his opponent's power. Yet his abilities spanned multiple fields.

"Oh my..."

Professor Charles struggled to find words for his shock. He held a principle of not probing memories without consent, so he knew little of Su Chen's other abilities. But he wasn't here to fight. Seeing the giant god-like figure before him, Professor Charles sighed.

"You and your sister are truly astonishing."

At these words, Su Chen's colossal hand paused.

"What did you say?"

Su Chen's emotions surged. The mental world around them crumbled faster, as if it would collapse any second.

Professor Charles calmly raised his hand, stabilizing the surroundings.

"Your sister, Susan, has been at my academy recently. She saw you on TV and immediately prevented the X-Men from intervening. She even stopped others from waking me."

This seemed fitting for his mischievous sister. The little witch had always been troublesome.

"You better not be lying to me," Su Chen warned, unable to stay calm.

He recalled the address of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Without hesitation, his emotional turmoil triggered his reality-warping ability, and he vanished instantly.
