Second

After they caught me up on their very uneventful week, Aunt May took them all outside to presumably tell them what the doctor said. After they said their goodbyes, two more people showed.

Honestly the way we met was strange, I saved the kid, his name is Miles, from a mugging before sending him on his merry way. Then his Father caught me dealing, but didn't arrest me surprisingly. He talked to me, how he appreciated me saving his kid obviously, and how he sympathized with me, talking to me about his and his brothers' own rough past.

He let me off with a warning sure, but that was it, which I'm grateful for till today. Honestly I think it was because of him I started rethinking the whole gang thing, the offer to go to prestigious MidTown and intern at Oscorp was just the push I needed. But all in all I befriended the two after giving up that life.

"Peter!" Miles yelled as he practically dove into me on the bed, though it didn't matter much when comparing a tall High School Junior who clearly works out to a kid who's only starting Eighth grade.

"Woah buddy, I'm still a patient!" I said jokingly, causing him to start awkwardly laughing.

"Hey Peter, May. How are you guys?" Officer Davis asked politely.

"I'm fine, it's more Peter you should worry about." Aunt May said with a laugh from her seat.

Yeah, how you holding up?" Officer Davis asked me, worry in his voice.

"Oh you know, a little knock to the head won't do much to me, I should be discharged tonight actually!" I said in an upbeat tone, but I noticed a look of frustration on his face.

"I'm sorry Peter, we still haven't been able to catch that green basta-"

"Officer." May said sternly, pausing his sentence.

"Let's talk outside quickly." She said, getting up and practically dragging the poor officer, though he wasn't going to be the one to deny her at that moment. As they left, I turned my attention back to Miles, who was staring at me intently.

"So buddy, any news since we last talked?" I asked, and he started telling me about the different things he's broken apart and built back together, along with building his phone and such, impressing me yet again with his intellect. I'm sure my own intelligence was a driving force for his, after all his folks weren't as savvy when it comes to science and tech, but the fact he could do things like that at his age was nonetheless impressive.

"Wow that's amazing. But I'm sure your mom got mad when she wasn't able to watch her Telenovelas, right?" I asked rhetorically, cause I already knew the answer, and he only laughed awkwardly again. Then came in the Officer with Aunt May.

"Well it's been nice to talk to you Peter, despite the circumstances, but we better get going. We'll be sure to stop by your house someday with Rio." Davis said, gaining a sad look from Miles, who slowly detached himself from me and off the hospital bed.

"Well tomorrow is actually my brothers home game, if you can make it." I said, which Miles immediately brightened up at.

"Please dad." Miles immediately started begging his Father.

"Well me and your Mom work tomorrow Miles, I don't think tha-"

"But Peter can pick me up, right?" Miles immediately changed tactics, getting a look from his dad.

"Miles, you can't impose on Peter like that." The Officer said firmly.

"It isn't a problem at all sir. I'd gladly pick him up." I chimed in, getting a sigh out the man.

"Fine. What do you say Miles?" The man asked his son.

"Thank you Peter! See ya!" Miles said before dashing out.

"Goodnight, Peter, May." Officer Davis said with a tip of his cap.

""You too Officer."" We both said at the same time before he left through the door. Then I finally got discharged after they double checked that I was fine and they made me lap around this floor of the hospital.

Walking out with Aunt May, a girl walking past us got my attention, who I only got to admire for a second, but that was enough honestly. I started questioning myself about these beautiful women, this is the second time a girls actually caught my eye.

Sure there were some beauty's in school and on the street, but they've never really caught my attention, when it came to school they all seemed the same, only wanting me as a trophy, to flaunt that they were the ones to "catch me". And on the street they were all older, not that I mind but I'm sure they did.

Maybe these two are different? Nah, that's being prejudice, and Gwen I actually know... whatever, chalk it up to some subconscious desire only these two fit so far. Anyways, world's a big place, with people in almost every corner of it. Just because less than probably 1% in New York don't fit it doesn't mean it applies world wide, or maybe it does?...

Stop deep thoughts, not the place when you can get easily run over, though I trust my instincts to easily guide me, I'm still with Aunt May. So I distract myself with the task of being a good person and making sure my elderly Aunt doesn't get hurt.

Any guesses as to who this second person is? Comment your guess, and if u guess right, you get a cookie when she's revealed, in probably, 2-3 chapters? Not to sure tbh, but yeah u get a cookie if u get it. Anyways, if you see a mistake, point it out, tell me how I can improve, and see u next chapter ig.

P.S- If the tone of chapters seem to vary, it is mostly intentional, but somewhat influenced by the music I'm listening to, depends on the vibe of the song tbh.
