Chapter Ninety-Seven (97)

"Let's just agree to disagree on that" James replied as the separated rivers finally congealed into three different humanoid forms.

All three looked incredibly human… well that is if you ignore their skin color which was bright red. James had merged the souls together to form these three beings. They stood naked and at attention in front of James, they basically had every feature that would make them human except for genitalia since they didn't exactly need it. After making sure that there was no mistake in their creation, clothes started forming on their body.

The clothes looked more like a part of their body and were completely black in color along with some shades of red here and there, their skin color also slowly turned normal making them look even more human. Their eyes however remained red, looking at them, James smiled since his mini army against Evil was complete. More than half of the souls used in their creation belonged to people that suffered at the hands of evil, meaning that the thoughts of these three individuals was all to get vengeance but unfortunately that wasn't what James wanted.

With another wave of his hand, James erased all forms of sentimentality from their minds, they still had their memories of course but James wanted an effective army that would battle organizations like THEM or even the HAND without being compromised due to a small moment of dumbass emotions like most heroes are. They still possessed their memories so they knew about their past lives but he was giving them a new start. With each good they do, a soul raptures amongst them and with each kill, they add a member to their club.

[Wait aren't they like the character Ragman from DC, contribute and use your skills to fight evil so you can get a chance at redemption] Paris suddenly commented and immediately the smile on James's face disappeared as he looked at them again

"....."

"Well damn, I honestly didn't even realize that but that just means that Ragman would be a powerful agent against evil" James commented after realizing just how similar they were.

(A/N: I have to admit too that i too didn't even realize their similarities until my sister pointed it out so i guess me and my MC are on the same page for once and you have any questions about the Spartans and these three ask here)

The Ragman was a DC comics Character by the name of Rory Regan who received a mystical suit that contains the souls of the damned and they are to contribute their skills to him so they can get a chance at redemption. The suit grants him increased strength and the basics but is also able to add new souls to itself, these three on the other hand didn't need a special suit or equipment to do these things since it was part of their very being.

"Okay, Paris upload every form of fighting technique, you can find into their minds, doesn't matter if it doesn't belong to our race" James said after shaking himself out of it

[On it] Paris replied and suddenly the three beings fell to the ground at the same time

"Paris what did you do" James asked since these three aren't supposed to feel any form of pain at all

[I refined your work; I gave them all distinct personalities since they are basically just robots now] Paris explained

"Okay…. that's actually a good idea but that has nothing to do with why they can feel pain"

[They aren't feeling pain, this is simply the outcome of simultaneously granting a being a personality and uploading thousands of years' worth of information into their mind]

"So basically, information overload" James stated then turned back to the three who were now in standard tactical wear and looked incredibly cool in it

Looking at the three who now seemed to have more life in them than earlier, James couldn't help but feel like they were better now. As for their abilities, it could be anything they need it to be depending on the situation. they could shrink, turn intangible, teleport etc to get into places, they couldn't enter. become invulnerable when under fire. In simpler terms, they will automatically adapt or develop any ability that seems to be the best given whatever situation they are in but on basics they each have the physical prowess of a Super soldier who can lift up to 2 tons at their strongest or when pushed to the limit.
