Chapter Forty-Seven(47)

"I never thought that the leaders of the great inhuman Nation of Attilan would one day visit Elysium… well I did but I thought it would be sometime in the future" James said as he stood up to greet them.

"And you are the nation's prince, we asked to meet your leader not a prince" The Woman, Medusa said

"I know that and I will be glad to inform you to that my decisions matter the most in this entire nation" James replied without much care to her tone

"You shall not speak to Queen Medusa in that manner!!" The man with them, the warrior shouted and moved forward as though to attack but Blackagar stopped him with a gesture.

"My king says we shall meet with you" Medusa said speaking for Blackagar as she had done for most of her life

"That's great then… oh and also, you can talk, powers don't work on the island. You can start with a hum if you want" James said as he gestured for them to sit on the bench beside him.

Hearing him, the group immediately became skeptical since they hadn't seen any form of restraint that has really been able to nullify their powers. Looking at their reaction, James smiled since this was somewhat expected after all the only one who managed to nullify Blackagar's voice was Franklin Rochards and the boy is a god but James didn't have to worry, he was just as much a god as Franklin Richards is and maybe even more and besides, he had technology that when used right could be no different from divine work.

"Hmmm" Blackagar suddenly said and the two immediately jumped away from him by instinct since they knew just how powerful even a hum from him was but surprisingly or unsurprisingly nothing happened.

"I can speak?" Blackagar asked in surprise but strangely neither his face nor tone showcased this surprise but it was easy to tell that he was surprised. The man had trained so much that he could maintain his composure even in situations like this but Medusa and Gorgon didn't hide their shock despite also training for this sort of situations but this was completely unexpected for them, they didn't even think it was possible, Inhuman technology was leagues above that of Earth but at the moment, it seemed as though they were no match for Elysium.

"What sorcery is this?" Gorgon asks in complete shock

"Why so surprised, Your legs have been normal since you entered Elysium's airspace, your Queen lost complete control over her hair since she entered our airspace, Elysium is completely power-proof"

"You have impressed me, Young Prince, I appreciate your little gift of allowing me use my voice again after many years" Blackagar said

"Well You're welcome now what exactly brought you to Elysium?" James asked curiously, he knew it probably had something to do with the Inhumans of Elysium but he didn't know exactly what it was, Paris can't exactly look into their minds because these people have trained for decades to shield their minds from telepaths so unless you want to turn them into bumbling idiots, forcing your way into their minds wouldn't be in your best interest.

"Initially, We came to free our fellow inhumans from the hands of you humans but it seems Elysium has found ways to ensure the safety of not only my people but also that of you humans without ostracizing anyone" Blackagar said in interest.

It was clear that he was interested in how Elysium had accomplished such peace. Throughout his time here, he had not seen a single protest or form of segregation between the people; instead it was just people going about their day and doing their own things. Blackagar knew just how impossible this was to achieve especially when there were hundreds of mutants and inhumans in the same city, even in developed nations like Wakanda, Mutants still got ostracized a bit but here, everyone seemed to just accept their existence. Blackagar could think of only two ways in which this was achieved, one of them being that due to the nullifying effect, the people can't really tell the difference between normal people and inhumans and mutants or that the people had truly accepted them or at least was on route to accepting them.

Either way, Blackagar was seriously impressed by this. Even more so, he was impressed by how Elysium put Mutants and inhumans to work, they could use their powers but it would be to benefit the people and your country.

"It's great that you think like that, it means a lot and since we are stating our purposes…. I called you guys here for a simple reason"

"What's that" Medusa asked

"You see, we have many inhumans and mutants who have powers we don't exactly know how to teach them to control soI propose that the nations of Elysium and Attilan allied together and remedy our problems, you help us teach our troublesome inhumans and we would help provide the technology to help combat physical mutations in ways that can help the victims, maintain their powers" James proposed,
