Chapter 19

Just after he finished buying tons of shares of Stark Industries, Jax froze in shock. The Mark that he had placed on MJ had completely disappeared, but that was impossible. The only way for a Mark to be removed is for Jax to do it himself, as even past death, the Mark will remain, and Jada herself has told Jax that even she can't remove his Marks. "What the fuck?!" Jax loudly whispered to himself, but soon felt a smack on the back of his head.

"Watch your mouth. Just because you're rich, doesn't mean you still can't get smacked. Now, tell me why you're cussing all of the sudden." Jada said as she gave Jax a reprimanding look.

Knowing already that hiding anything from his mom with his strength now was useless, Jax resolved to do damage control. So, Jax told Jada everything that transpired earlier, from pinning Natasha as a SHIELD, how he used his powers to bring her to his side, and how he got caught by MJ which led her to run away. But throughout the whole retelling, Jax did his best to make it all seem like a great misunderstanding but Judging from Jada's disappointed expression, he didn't sell it well.

"You're a literal certified genius and still can't help thinking with your damn dick! Stay here and handle the expo. I know how important it is for you and Umbra. I'll go find MJ and try to fix things." Jada said as she gave Jax a reassuring hug and left Umbra Tower with a stormy expression.

Jada has tried to find MJ with her own Mark but was shocked to find that even her Mark was removed. But soon realized that only one person in this world had a hope of removing her Mark, and that was the insufferable Ancient One.

Effortlessly fazing into the darkness of the night, Jada reappeared outside of a particular house in Greenwich, where an annoying bald lady lived. As Jada made it to the foot of the stairs, the red front door swung open to reveal a middle-aged Asian man.

"The Ancient One has been expecting you. Please, come in." the man said as he stood to the side and allowed Jada to walk into the house.

After walking through the house and passing numerous monk-like sorcerers, they finally made it outside of an office. As Jada walked up to the door, the door swung open by itself to reveal the Ancient One sitting behind her desk, pouring a cup of tea. Noticing Jada at the door, the Ancient One gestures for her to sit down, which made Jada raise a brow.

"Since when did you get brave enough to think you can tell me what to do?" Jada asked as she sat down in her seat and kicked on the desk like she owned the place.

"I would never deem to tell you what to do. I was merely offering you a seat as a good host. Now, to what do I owe the honor of your visit?" asked the Ancient One.

"Don't play dumb with me bitch, I truly do not have the time. I know you're the one who has MJ. Give her back to me, and all will be settled." said Jada leveling a gaze at the Ancient One.

"Oh my, you make it sound as though I kidnapped her or something. MJ came with me on her own volition after pleading for me to teach her the art of magic. She's resting in one of our temples at the moment but will start her studies when she awakens. It seems she witnessed something quite heartbreaking under your care. I think it's best if MJ stays with me." the Ancient One said as she sipped her tea.

At this, Jada had to use great effort to calm herself down but was very close to reaching her limit.

"So basically you manipulated her in her time of weakness, as you Supreme Sorcerers always do. MJ was just a regular human whose knowledge of the supernatural world didn't extend past Mutants. Manipulating a poor, sweet girl like that is something I can not forgive. I will not forgive!" Jada growled as a violent aura of darkness escaped from her, making the surroundings darker and bringing a chill to the air.

The Ancient One knew that things would possibly break down to this, but still held out hope for "Jada" to see reason for once. Not long after, the door to the room burst open as Sorcerer's in armor leveled their weapons at Jada threateningly. But, before either of them could utter a single word or take a solitary step, their shadows began squirming before impaling them all before pulling them down into their shadows.

A second later, the sorcerers rose from their shadows with black skin and flesh, their eyes glowing an eerie and lifeless white. Black wisps of darkness radiated from their bodies as they lumbered about. Seeing their comrades corrupted and turned into a dark horde, the sorcerers who weren't corrupted took up are and started attacking the Corrupted, causing a battle to break out.

The Ancient one was now frowning as without moving a single muscle, Jada had already caused complete chaos among her sorcerers. This was already leading towards the path of the worst future that she has seen as a possibility.

"Jada, or is there any point in not calling you by your true name, Nox? End this now, and there will be no further hostilities among us. I have seen what will come to pass, and if you truly wish to start this war, you and your son will find yourselves attacked from all sides. I'm sure the Asgardians and the Olympians will be very interested to find the last child of Nyx alive and well living as a human in New York City. You have grown weak since you became a mother, Nox. You will not win this war!" the Ancient One stated, glaring at Jada.

Listening to the Ancient ones threat, Jada, or Nox, had to fight hard not to burst out laughing. "You forget yourself, little girl. When the Olympians imprisoned my mother and siblings, it took the effort of every Olympian plus the previous Supreme Sorcerer to do so. Many things have skewed from your favor. The fact that the Olympians are not nearly as strong as they used to be, same with those savage Asgardians. Plus, you are not nearly as powerful as that old Supreme Sorcerer, a lesson I have tried to beat into you many times. And lastly, the existence of my son, Jax." Nox said smugly.

"I have grown much since our last battle, as have the gods. But what is it that you think that boy can do? If my memory serves me well, he couldn't even beat that young man in a metal suit!" the Ancient One shot back with venom.

"Though he has much to learn, even without realizing his true identity, he's already awakening his Olympian powers, and with the genes of his father that I've carefully chosen, he will grow to become the most powerful Olympian and finally take the throne from that damn horny bastard, Zeus. But, I'm afraid you have sufficiently angered me, so you will unfortunately not see the day that my son rises to his true greatness." Nox said calmly, but the sneer that she wore on her beautiful face told a different story.

Knowing that any further talking is useless, the Ancient One leaped over the desk to deliver a kick to Nox, who blocked it by forming a shield of darkness. But, Nox didn't see the large portal opening behind her that she was pushed into by the powerful kick.

As she went through the portal, Nox found herself in the middle of the desert with a sandstorm brewing in the background. The desert was like any other, blazing sun, scorching sands, and sparse vegetation littered all around the landscape were all there was to break the monotony of the endless sands.

Not willing to give Nox a chance to breathe, the Ancient One leaped through the portal as well and moved her hands in a seemingly random fashion, but then reality started bending, as the sands began rising kike incarcerated waterfalls, as walls of sand began forming in different directions, turning into a chaotic, constantly churning grinder.

Nox had to admit, she was impressed with the Ancient One's progress, and she didn't seem any less powerful than the previous Supreme Sorcerer. The fact that the Ancient One also teleported her to the worst place for her to fight, due to the lack of darkness, was also highly commendable. But, she was still many years too early to battle a goddess of her level.

As the Ancient One shifted reality to appear closer to Nox, she conjured a pair of Eldritch shields that she turned into war fans and swiped at Nox, only for a construct made of darkness in the form of a tendril blocked the attack, making the Ancient One's arms go numb from the recoil.

'How is she still so strong?!' the Ancient One thought as she flipped backward to reduce the force of the recoil.

As the Ancient One landed, she looked up to see Nox already in front of her, throwing a devastating punch that sent the Ancient One blasting through the walls of sand and crashing through several cactuses and dry bramble before she finally came to a stop.

On the ground, blood began pooling out of the Ancient One's mouth, coughing to endure the red liquid doesn't continue to fill her lungs. Though the Ancient One was extremely powerful, strong enough to battle and kill some gods and devils, she was still human at the end of the day. And against an existence that could make a whole pantheon of gods tremble at her very name, she just stood no chance. Just that one punch was enough to nearly killing her and the Ancient One felt as though this vengeful goddess was still holding back her true strength.

"Helen, Helen, Helen... the previous Supreme Sorcerer, Yao, would be greatly disappointed with your display and the state you are in. Although it was smart to send me to a bright, scorching desert such as this, you still underestimated me. I am not like those little minor gods you have battled in the past. I am the daughter of Nyx and the mother to the future king of the Olympians! No simple desert on earth will ever be enough to stunt the abilities of the Queen Of Darkness." Nox said as she shifted back into her original form as she stood over the Ancient One.

Her skin grew to a light purple and all of her features became even more curvaceous and alluring, which would make any man bricked up just at the sight of her. Her clothes disappeared, revealing her flawless, porcelain skin before darkness wrapped around her, becoming a beautiful, revealing dress with a plunging neckline. The ends of the dress started moving on their own, becoming purple tendrils which she can use to attack or defend at any moment.

As a tendril from her dress wrapped around the Ancient One's neck, Nox lifted her so that they could be face to face.

"Now tell me, Helen. Do you wish you stayed as a poor Slavic girl before Yao found you? Or are you satisfied with the life you lived before I end it? Strongly, I am very curious. I have been acting as a human all of these years, but I have yet to connect with humanity and feel as one." said Nox as she looked at the Ancient One curiously.

"Mock me all you want to, but I know many futures that you would never believe. But, one thing you refuse to see is, your son, Jax, is not you. He wasn't born from the pit of darkness as you were but as a human. I have seen him become the greatest hero the universe has ever seen, but I have also seen him becoming such a monster, that even your mother trembles before him. But, I can no longer hold out hope for him to take the right path, so I must gather help." said the Ancient One as she struggled to get the words out.

Before Nox could process what she meant, the Ancient One opened a portal that cut through the tendril holding her neck and teleported away. Now all alone, Nox burst out into beautiful laughter as she slowly shook her head.

"So, the little bitch decided to run away. Smart choice honestly, I was planning on torturing her in the Dark Dimension for her slight against me. Okay, I'll let you keep MJ for now, as she would've become nothing but a distraction to Jax from what he is about to face. It's time I tell my son the truth of what he is, before our enemies come to surprise him. But first, I think I should visit a few "Friends"." Nox said before she shifted back into "Jada" and opened a portal made from darkness and teleported away.

As all of that was happening, all hell seemed to be breaking loose at the Expo. Johnny Storm showed up with his sexy ass sister, a big, bald guy, and a weak-looking guy, to participate in the competition. The only thing is, as soon as the guy, who turned out to be Reed Richards, saw Victor Von Doom, the two started going at it, arguing loudly and swearing to beat the other in the competition.

Seeing the future Fantastic Four and the Future Doctor Doom show up at the same science competition, Jax immediately felt some red flags going off and knew that shit was about to go down.

But before Jax could move to stop a potentially catastrophic event, someone that he never expected to see blocked his path.

"You?!"
