The night arrived silently.
This place was desolate, devoid of any signs of life.
Swoosh~ Swoosh~
Under the moonlight, Thor's cheerful voice sounded particularly harsh.
Suddenly, a figure dressed in a black suit appeared silently in front of Thor.
Thor looked at Loki in front of him, set his cola down, and was about to speak, but something in his heart prompted him to continue with the lines he had seen in the video. "Loki, why are you here?"
"I wanted to see you," Loki said.
"Is something wrong?" Thor continued according to the "script," "Tell me, is it something to do with Jotunheim? Let me explain it to Father."
"Father is dead," Loki said with a sorrowful expression.
"What?"
"He exiled you. The threat of war was too much for him to bear." Loki's voice became deeper. "Don't blame yourself. I know you loved him. I wanted to tell him, but he wouldn't listen. He knew that you couldn't lift Mjolnir anymore, yet he kept it by your side. It's too cruel."
"Loki! So, you really did it!" Thor's facial muscles twitched uncontrollably as he listened to Loki's words, identical to what he had seen in the video.
Thor had held onto a sliver of hope in his heart, hoping that the future he saw in the contest was wrong. However, Loki's words shattered his illusion.
"The burden of the throne now falls on me." Loki's voice resounded once again.
"Brother, do you really want to be king?" Thor no longer pretended, he stood up and looked at Loki.
"Brother, I have no interest in that position. But now, I have no choice but to shoulder the responsibility," Loki said. "Father has passed away, and you have been exiled. Even though I am reluctant, I must take on this duty."
"Stop!" Thor shouted, "Stop lying, Loki!"
"Lying?" Loki looked confused. "Brother, what are you talking about?"
"Loki, I know Father is not dead, and I know that it was you who insisted on exiling me." Thor's face was filled with anguish. "Loki, if you want the throne, just tell me. I never wanted that position, and you know it!"
"So, you found out?" Loki grinned, looking incredibly mischievous. "I'm curious, how did you find out?"
"I have my ways," Thor didn't mention the contest space.
"Brother, I originally intended to spare your life, but you brought this upon yourself. Don't blame me," Loki said, and his figure disappeared instantly.
"Damn you, Loki!" Thor cursed in anger and then shouted to the sky, "Heimdall! Can you hear me? I need you!"
Heimdall remained silent, but above the sky, dark clouds began to gather, forming a funnel-shaped mass that covered the entire sky. From the bottom of the funnel, it rapidly extended towards the ground.
"The Destroyer!" Thor looked up at the sky, his heart sinking. His beloved brother actually intended to kill him.
The funnel-shaped dark cloud was enormous, visible not only to Thor on the mountain but also to Phil Coulson and Clint Barton in the town.
"The Destroyer has indeed come." Phil Coulson observed through his binoculars.
"The position is far enough from here; it shouldn't reach us," Clint Barton also watched through his binoculars.
"Excuse me, do you see any beautiful ladies up there? You're so engrossed in watching." A figure behind them spoke.
Clang!
Tony Stark, wearing his armor, landed there.
"The Destroyer is coming," Phil Coulson said to Tony Stark. "Stark, don't tell me you plan to get involved in the fight between Thor and the Destroyer."
"Thor can handle it alone. Why should I intervene? Isn't it better to watch the show here?" Tony Stark held a super-sized cup of popcorn. "Want some?"
"..." Phil Coulson was speechless. Tony Stark even brought popcorn, treating Thor's battle with the Destroyer like a movie!
While they were talking, Thor had already engaged the Destroyer in combat.
The spectacle was as terrifying as it appeared in the video. Huge dark clouds enveloped the night sky, as if an unknown monster was devouring the world.
Flashes of lightning ruthlessly tore through the night, mercilessly tearing apart the darkness.
"Mark 7 is still not enough. I need to develop an even more powerful suit!" Tony Stark chewed on the popcorn one by one. Although his face didn't show it, he was truly impressed by Thor's strength.
Yes, he had already seen this scene in the video, but watching a video was like watching a movie. It couldn't compare to the shock of experiencing the real battlefield.
He was far away from the battlefield, but as he looked up at the sky covered by the oppressive dark clouds and the massive lightning that tore through the sky in an instant, he still felt a sense of impending apocalypse.
Thor's power was truly formidable.
Not only was Thor powerful, but he was also filled with anger.
"Loki! You want to kill me! You actually want to kill me!" Thor flew in the sky, amidst the raging winds, with his long hair dancing wildly.
Clang!
He threw his hammer, carrying his anger and questioning, fiercely smashing the Destroyer and knocking it over.
Whoosh!
The Destroyer's body heated up, and a beam of energy shot out from its face, soaring into the sky, aiming directly at Thor.
Thor didn't dodge or avoid. He extended his hand, and his hammer reached his hand before the energy beam. He swung his hammer, directly shattering the energy beam.
Having obtained the hammer and his divine power in advance, Thor defeated the Destroyer much more easily and quickly than in the video.
The apocalyptic scene didn't last long, only about half a minute, and then it vanished.
"Heimdall!" After defeating the Destroyer, Thor shouted again, holding his hammer. "I need you! Where are you?"
In Asgard, Heimdall was completely encased in ice.
He had already heard Thor's call, but he couldn't move, unable to open the Rainbow Bridge for Thor.
However, Heimdall was no ordinary person. The ice could only seal him temporarily; it couldn't freeze him forever.
Crack! Crack!
With Thor's call, cracks appeared in the ice covering Heimdall's body, and with a final burst, it shattered completely.
"Thor!" Heimdall held his sword and quickly opened the Rainbow Bridge. "Asgard needs you. Come back quickly!"
In the night sky, a beam of rainbow light descended from the heavens, enveloping Thor. The next moment, Thor's figure disappeared.
"So, that's the Rainbow Bridge, right?" Phil Coulson and Clint Barton, who were watching from a distance, exchanged a glance, understanding that Thor had probably left Earth and returned to Asgard.
