Chapter 213: T-1000 Robot Doppelganger!

"Peter, is that you?" At this moment, Liz Allan, Peter Parker's crush, suddenly reached out and snatched the phone from Ned's hand.

"Liz, let Ned take the call." Peter Parker was happy that his crush was calling him, but he knew it wasn't the time to talk.

"You disappeared; luckily, we won," Liz Allan put her hand on her hip. "I want to be mad at you, but I'm more worried about you. What happened to you?"

"Liz, I have to talk to Ned. It's really urgent." Peter Parker had already come down from the top of the bus and was running towards the Washington Monument.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine," Peter Parker ran to the base of the Washington Monument, leaped onto it, and started climbing rapidly using his hands and feet.

"A major disaster is expected in 10 minutes," Karen's voice sounded again as he was halfway up.

Peter Parker was getting very anxious. Karen activated the drones in his chest to explore and found a window he could enter. Peter quickly climbed over.

After finally climbing up, Peter Parker felt a bit uncomfortable and restless, his breathing and heartbeat accelerating.

"What's wrong? You've reached the southwest window," Karen asked, "Why are you hesitating?"

"It's nothing." Peter Parker pressed against the wall, saying, "It's just that I've never climbed this high before."

"Also, you haven't reloaded your parachute. If you fall from this height, you might die," Karen warned.

"Oh my god." Peter Parker took a deep breath and began kicking the glass of the southwest window. "Why won't it break?"

Peter Parker hung upside down like that, alternating pulling himself up with his hands, gradually bringing the elevator to the doorway.

People inside the building opened the elevator doors and helped Ned and Mr. Harrington out.

But just as Liz Allan was about to step out, a sudden change occurred. The piece of metal that Peter Parker had used to stop the elevator suddenly broke under the weight, and the elevator dropped again.

Fortunately, Peter Parker reacted quickly. He extended a strand of web, grabbed Liz Allan, and pulled her up.

With the help of security guards and teachers, Liz Allan successfully stood on the ground.

"Is everyone okay?" Peter Parker, still hanging upside down, asked.

It was Captain America, Steve Rogers. He was standing there, flipping through a small booklet in Bucky Barnes' hand, which he couldn't tell was a diary or something else.

But it probably wasn't a diary, after all, who writes diaries these days.

"Captain, be aware, German Special Forces are approaching from the south," Sam Wilson's voice sounded in his earpiece as Steve Rogers was looking at the booklet. Steve Rogers put down the booklet and turned around.

These two old buddies of nearly a hundred years finally met again under clear-headed circumstances.

"Do you know who I am?" Steve Rogers asked Bucky Barnes.

"You're Steve. I learned about you in the museum," Bucky Barnes replied.

"They've set up a perimeter," Steve Rogers heard Sam Wilson's voice again in his earpiece. He casually put the booklet down and said to Bucky Barnes, "I know you're a bit nervous, and you have reasons to be, but you're lying."

"I haven't been to Vienna, I don't do that kind of thing anymore," Bucky Barnes said.

"They're entering the building," Sam Wilson's words made Steve Rogers glance to the south. His speech speed slightly increased, "The people they think are you have arrived, and they're not planning to leave you alive."

"Very clever, good move," Bucky Barnes showed no signs of nervousness.

"They're on the rooftop, I need to retreat," Sam Wilson's voice echoed again. Steve Rogers said to Bucky Barnes, "We don't have to fight, Bucky."

"We always end up fighting," Bucky Barnes replied, removing his left-hand glove to reveal the blood-stained metal hand beneath.

"Why did you save me from the river?" Steve Rogers asked.

"I don't know," Bucky Barnes said.

"No, you know," Steve Rogers looked at Bucky Barnes.

And Bucky Barnes looked at Steve Rogers.

Just as the two were locked in this "intense" stare, a bomb was thrown in through the window. Steve Rogers used his shield to deflect it, but another bomb was thrown in, rolling to Bucky Barnes' feet.

Bucky Barnes glanced at the bomb and without hesitation, kicked it towards Steve Rogers, who immediately used his shield to cover it.

Bang!

A muffled explosion occurred as the bomb detonated directly under the shield, not even killing an ant.

Look at that, these two had such incredible understanding, even more than many couples.

The sound of shattered glass followed as two fully armed police officers barged in, but they were basically walking into a trap set by Bucky Barnes and ended up getting knocked over.

On the other side of the window, another police officer popped up and started shooting. Bucky Barnes picked up Steve Rogers and hurled him at the officer, knocking him down.

After quickly dealing with the other two police officers, Bucky Barnes made his way into the staircase.

The staircase was already filled with waiting police officers, all fully armed. However, the difference between an ordinary person and a super soldier was significant. Bucky Barnes effortlessly took them all down with his bare hands, leaving them no chance.

With Steve Rogers causing a distraction on the side, Bucky Barnes easily broke through the police ambush and jumped from one balcony to another on a different building.

He had surely planned his escape route in advance. The package he threw out of the window earlier in the house was now on this building.

He grabbed the package and ran.

Suddenly, a figure jumped out from behind and tackled him to the ground.

The person was wearing a Black Panther suit, none other than T'Challa, the Black Panther, who had come for vengeance on his father's behalf.

T'Challa was determined to kill the man who had murdered his father, while Bucky Barnes was focused on escaping. So, without any words, the two engaged in combat.

"Sam, head to the southwest rooftop," Steve Rogers, who was on the other building, saw the fight between the two on this building and instructed Sam Wilson.

"Who's the other guy?" Sam Wilson asked.

"You'll find out soon enough," Steve Rogers took a few steps back and ran before leaping down as well.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A helicopter flew in from the side and started shooting at the two on the ground.

At this moment, Bucky Barnes was knocked down by the gunfire, leaving only T'Challa standing. He was getting hit by all the bullets.

T'Challa was wearing the Black Panther suit, he wasn't afraid of bullets at all. He didn't even bother dodging them, letting the bullets hit him.

T'Challa and Steve Rogers followed closely, also jumping down to the ground.

The three of them started running in the midst of the moving cars.

Another police car was chasing after them.

Steve Rogers glanced at the police car behind and suddenly threw himself onto it, a move that could rival a professional stunt.

The police car was taken aback and quickly came to a stop.

Steve Rogers was unharmed. He opened the car door, pulled the police officer out, and got in himself. He started driving and pursued Bucky Barnes.

Steve Rogers managed to secure a car this way. T'Challa, on the other hand, didn't need a car at all. He leaped onto Steve Rogers' car and held on tight.

Seeing this through the rearview mirror, Steve Rogers sharply turned the steering wheel, causing the car to sway from side to side. However, T'Challa remained firmly attached to the car and couldn't be shaken off.

"Sam, I can't shake this guy off," Steve Rogers had to ask for Sam Wilson's help again.

"I'm coming right away," Sam Wilson replied and flew over.

As for what kind of "contest" was happening behind them, Bucky Barnes had no idea. He was just running for his life.
