34 Chapter 32: All according to plan

***Kar-el P.O.V.

"Okay, let's revise the plan once again. You go in, grab the attention of our target. He would likely try to get you in his bedroom according to his track record. Once there, you quickly take control of his mind and implant thoughts that will benefit you into controlling his whole business." I drove the car to the hotel while Serena occupied the whole back seat to herself.

"You will disguise as a young prodigy among genius who is trying to get funds for your research. You are good with science but failed to understand how society works."

I stopped the car and got out of it to open the gate for her.

"I know, you don't have to repeat it to me. In case you forgot, I was born with a perfect memory." She smiled a little while giving a small nod at me.

She took the lead and I respectfully followed her with a distance of one step between us.

"I don't get why do you risk endangering me by giving me to a wolf's clutches? What if something goes wrong?" I passed the key to the guard as we talked silently.

"Come on, we both know that anyone who will judge you just by your looks will be receiving a surprise once they know your inner autonomy." I kept my respectful act as I replied with a sarcastic tone.

"You don't have a single vital inner organ in your body much less sexual organs. It's all screws and wires behind your beautiful face and soft skin."

"They are welcome to fuck a metal puppet if that's their fetish as far as im concerned. It's not like you are trapped in this body or something, you could leave it just by a thought since it's just a shell, not your true body."

"I found him." Serena signaled to look in the left-most corner of the hall.

I followed her eyes to find Harvey drinking by himself.

"It's true that almost everyone is above his stature in this party but I still didn't expect him to be all by himself. Wasn't he usually wander about a female in the party if he has no one to talk to?" I ended up raising an eyebrow at that.

"I think I know the reason behind that." I once again followed her eyes to find someone who I didn't expect to see so soon.

"It's not that he didn't try to get a girl, it's just that he has a bigger competition this time," Serena smirked.

"What the hell is he doing here?" I couldn't help but grumble.

"Tony Stark, heir to stark industries. Well-known Playboy among the upper cast as well as the lower cast. His attending this event is indeed a little weird but not without any possibility." Serena took a wine glass before entering into the crowd while I distanced myself.

We could communicate via a wireless device so there was no need to stay together and I would likely prove to be an obstacle if I remain with her.

"With Tony's presence in the party, it's understandable why no girl paid attention to Harvey. It's true that both likes to whore around but Tony has both the looks and wealth that Harvey lacks." Serena continued while also mingling with its crowd and slowly edging toward Harvey.

"Make sure to not attract his attention. Plans have changed, make sure to get Harvey under control as soon as possible." My eyes couldn't help but twitch.

I designed exceptionally beautiful, thinking that it would make the mission a lot easier but now it proved to be a disadvantage rather than an advantage.

As far as I know Tony's personality, he didn't like to lose and once he got his eyes on something during his earlier years, he would get obsessed with it.

I didn't want Serena getting his attention since it would prove to be problematic if he started pestering her.

"What the fuck? You can't just change plans on the go?" Serena grumbled not realizing the gravity of the situation.

She likely understood that Tony could become an obstacle if he started keeping eyes on us but she likely thought that we could get rid of him if things go that way.

Sadly, Tony was too important in the grand scheme of things and she was unaware of it.

"Likely for you, I thought that a scenario like this could happen and brought this with me" She took out a tiny spray from her wallet as she finally ended up beside Harvey.

"A nerve-numbing pheromone, huh? Make sure no one notices." Tony seemed too busy with girls in both of his arms to notice our arrival thankfully.

He took a glass of orange juice and waited for a few minutes before I got a reply from Serena.

"He's affected, we are going to his room now. It would take some time to implant a thought in our favor without him getting aware of it. Make sure no one enters the room."

I looked at them entering further inside before slowly following them.

We would be performing advanced inception on him to plant the idea that Serena was the rightful successor of his business and he should slowly give her the ownership.

She would be the one deciding what should be done from behind the scenes until everything naturally belonged to her.

It was cruel to outright steal someone else whole economic assets but honestly, I never said that I would be the ideal hero.

Harvey did many bad things from rape to murder but normally law should have been responsible for deciding his punishment but I don't care.

He was an ideal pawn in this game of chess that would be the stepping stone for Serena's business empire.

In a few years, his business empire would be most likely 8 to 10 times what it is today at the least.

Until I get my powers back, money was something that must be obtained without any visible backdoors.

***Few hours later, Outside the hotel.

"How did it go?" I asked her as we entered the car.

"As planned, I will be appointed as the head research scientist on the front while all the decisions related to how the company should progress would be ordered by me behind close doors."

"Good. I would be visiting tania and her family to inform them that I got sponsored by you to study in a prestigious college on the condition that I work in your company after graduation." I like to study star charts and figure out any differences by studying beside Jane foster.

She was the best in her field and no one can deny that. I didn't focus much on the vast space so it would be an educational experience studying beside her.

"What will be your first project?" I asked to pass some time.

"This world is very primitive in tech, while I could introduce revolutionary theories and instruments overnight. It's better that I don't and rather start from a more steady route."

"I'm thinking of introducing tech that would likely appear in a few years even if I don't do anything. Once I earn some capital with that, I would introduce automobiles that run on solar energies."

"Once it becomes popular, I would expand the tech into the electricity-generating industry itself. In a few years, coal and petroleum would be things of the past."

"There would likely be resistance from people in that industry but the change wouldn't be something that they could stop for long."
