Thanos and Maximoff meeting

Thanos drove silently through the dark and empty streets, the rain pattering on the windshield as the headlights illuminated their path. Pietro and Wanda sat in the back of the truck, still reeling from the events they had just experienced. They looked at each other, unsure of what to say or do in the presence of this mysterious and powerful man.

Finally, Wanda broke the silence, asking the question that had been on her mind since they met Thanos. "How did you know about our family, about our parents' death?"

Thanos pondered her question for a moment before responding. "I am someone who simply knows the future," he said, his voice low and commanding. His words left the twins stunned and speechless.

Pietro, never one to remain silent for long, piped up. "How can you see the future?"

Thanos began to tell them a story about a boy, a boy who had an incredible gift. The boy had lived a simple life, but one day, something happened to him that changed everything. The people around him began to treat him like a freak, isolating and persecuting him.

Then, the boy began to hear a voice, a voice that that helped him, assured him, and entertained him. And with the voice's help, the boy became content and happy with his life again. However, one day he fell asleep and when he woke up, his head hurt and he suddenly knew about many things that had happened and would happen. He was scared and overwhelmed by what he learned, but he decided to use his gift to become stronger, so strong that he would not fear anything. And so, the boy and his voice began their adventure to become stronger.

As Thanos spoke, he removed his hoodie with one hand, revealing his purplish complexione. The twins were stunned by his appearance, and the voice in Thanos' head remained silent.

Thanos told them that he knew of an abandoned military base a little far away from Sokovia where they could take refuge. He had also bought equipment, food, and other basic necessities for their journey. Pietro, scrutinizing the titan, suddenly looked behind him and quipped about the abundance of milk in the back of the truck, relieving some of the tension.

Getting used to the previous surprise, Wanda asked why Thanos needed their help if he could see the future. Thanos explained that knowing something would happen in advance did not necessarily mean he could alter it by himself. That's the reason he had proposed the deal to the twins, offering to help them with his knowledge while they helped him achieve his goals.

The car continued to drive through the rain, the trio getting to know each other better as they journeyed towards their new destination.
