29 The Beginning?

When Arthur was dealing with the dogs, Carter had already rushed out.

There were more dogs coming, and of course, the guards behind them. It was quite harmonic. Arthur dealing with the animals and Carter with the guards.

This lady was very adept at dealing with humans. After all experience some for itself. When Arthur dealt the last blow, he looked up ahead and saw Carter manhandling a ... er, a man. And it was then that he saw her kick and felt pain like any other man would have.

-oof-

As one of male species, Arthur coul very well imagine what it felt like.

Carter's method were too brutal. If every agent did the same, no wonder the spies would rather kill themselves before being caught. They might not fear torture but there were pains that no one would want to experience...

This did not take much of their time. But they had no time to waste. The other guards will soon notice the missing men. They had to move fast.

And so both of them disappeared into the horizon.

.

.

.

Snap-

Another sentry fell.

-This should be the last one on this side.-

"Now, where to go?" Arthur asked.

Carter felt the hassle. She thought - Maybe Colonel Phillips did want to use the spy...-

But it was too late to repent. They had already done something that would definately alert the spy.

Si they had to move quick

"So, What next?"

Art sighed again.

- If it was just to snoop around and just look for suspicious activities, it wouldn't attract any attention. After all, they had an official agent at hand.... - Sigh

They had already done so much damage.

Only an idiot would hope that Hydra would ignore the people *sleeping* at random bushes with guard dogs.

Then there was only one thing they could do. After all, it's kinda easy after your first kill...

Arthur hardened himself: "Since we have already begun, might as well complete the job."

"You mean..."

"yep. time to beat the slimy snake."

This was the best they could do before they lose this spy. Who knows what a startled enemy might do.

Human nature had always been unpredictable.

So, even if he was not willing to endanger himself, he had to take in such risks. He certainly had the skills, so, why not? Ultimately it was for his own benefit.

And that's how he persuaded himself. Things in the dark had always been scary.

It was the determination of a virgin. And mind you, it's powerful.

However, just when Arthur had made up his mind, Carter began hesitating: "What of Colonel Phillips..."

- Now you consider him? Damn you square face. I curse you, your boobs will be abismal and your man's booty will be every gay man's dream...-

"We are already involved in this, do you really think we can go back? Now?."

Then Arthur knelt down and messed with the unconscious guard.

Carter was a bit blinded by the scene: "What are you doing?"

"Taking precautions, you don't want us to be in there when this person wakes up and calls everyone else?"

"But why the dog? The dog can't talk!" Carter blinked.

"But it will bark!"

- Come on, lady! Not all of us has a plot to rely on! -

He helplessly added: "It's fair to say, if they were Hydra's people, we could just kill them all. But they are not... There's no point in wasting energy."

"So that's what you were doing back then. You are such a good person." Carter was genuinely sincere.

With all the men and dogs tied up like the Amazon sacrifice. They left.

Carter Was a bit embarrassed. After all, this trouble was all because if her.

She whispered: "Do you have any plans?"

Arthur was dumbfounded: "Shouldn't you have planned something? Before coming here?"

- No wonder shield was infiltrated. This is just children playing Cops. -

" Did you prepare anything at all?"

"Oh, I have a map."

Carter took a map out of her pocket.

Arthur's mouth twitched: "You know, for you to pass as a agent, you must have shown some 'exceptional' potential, right?"

- Yup, totally no sarcasm -

Carter snorted and pointed at one of the buildings and said: "Now, he should be working in his office and won't come out until after four o'clock..."

"But his office would definitely be guarded."

He took the map. It had too many details. She even added when this 'so and so' guard would talk to his mom!

Looking at the general timetable, Arthur was frightened to see so many guards: "Why does he have so many people protecting him? Wasn't it suspicious before you even knew that he was a spy?"

He asked, looking at her for some answers and got the biggest 'do-I-look-like-I-care' look and gave up.

"Let's just make a plan first."

.

.

.

Ten minutes later, Arthur was leaning against a wall, : "What the heck is this plot? I don't even want to think right now..."

He was alone, Carter had her own thing to do.

The virgin wizard made up his resolve and waited.

~tak, thak, tak~

Footsteps sounded. His target had arrived.

He was waiting for the opportune moment-

- Now! -
