6 Chapter 6- First Engage With The Enemy

Bruce will upload the data perfectly 5 minutes before the required time. Before uploading he will ping them from a given device. That is the final plan they made together.

But Bruce had a different plan. First, he will rescue his sister silently by himself. After that, he will send a modified data to the server. The data will not have any of the most important components. But to check that it will take them at least an hour. Even if they realize it faster, his sister will already be safe. They would not have any hostage anymore.

The data will also make the device a portable hotspot, from where it was downloaded, and his AI will track the location of the device and lock it. So that it doesn't matter how much time it takes for the FBI to track them. Even if the FBI loses them, he will have a method that will always let him track their device. As long as they don't destroy the device.

Soon it got dark out there, and the FBI agents left the Wayne Manor. Bruce gets ready to take on his first mission in this world. He does not have any equipment that he normally used as Batman. So he will have to improvise. At the very least Prototype-Bulletproof-Vest is already ready. As for his Utility-Belt, he will have to make do without it.

All he took for this mission is the bulletproof vest, sound-absorbent boots, two batons, a knife, a grapple gun, smoke bombs, spray bomb that is still in the prototype stage (It is still in the prototype stage because it cannot be controlled by remote for now), night vision goggles which also work as a binocular, and some darts filled with a powerful knockout agent.

As night came he left his manor using the modified Black Ascari KZ1-R. He parked his car in a dark alley. He then opened a manhole cover and went down to the sewer channel. He will sneak into the building from there. The roof of the building and all the other entry points are fully sealed. It will not be easy to enter from under the building either, as there is no obvious entry point. He has to make one by himself. He found the weakest link. From the blueprint that he already got, it should be a corner of a storage room. Bruce kicked the wall with all of his strength.

Although he is studying at the university right now, he never stopped his physical workout. And because of his special body, he recovered his previous peak level body strength and speed very quickly. So breaking a damaged wall is not that hard. There is a heavy sound that he had to take into consideration. But the sound of two NYPD Chopper is so high that the sound of wall breaking is muffled. If he had to use the bomb, the sound will be much more. That is why he first tried to break the wall with the option that makes less sound, and it worked.

This building is a secret safe place that is normally used as a storage space. Because of the lockdown protocol, all the windows and doors are sealed.

After entering the building, the first thing he did was reach the attic. From there investigation will be easier. Then he started his search for Katie. He found her in a room. There are two guards outside the room. Her previous appointed bodyguards, now turned traitor, guarding her door so that she can't make any commotion. There are 4 more guards with snipers, who are guarding the gate against SWAT forces. The rest of the guards are in the big hall-room. Everyone is with a gun in his hand. Always vigilant.

Then he noticed everyone there is elite, otherwise, when in a room there are so many people, there will always be some manner of talking. It is not possible for normal terrorists. This is an elite team of 16 people.

Now he has to wait for the perfect moment.

When 20 minutes are remaining for the deal to complete, he knew that he had at most 15 minutes left to rescue Katie. The first thing he then did was that he knocked out the four snipers using the special knockout dart with two flicks of his wrist. No one even noticed that four of their guys were already down. But it was the easy part. The building is only two floors high. And they were in the light, but he is in the dark. So he quickly took care of them.

Next, he has to knock out the two guards outside Katie's prison. This will be the tricky part. Because sound from his fight will alert the men downstairs, and they will be alert. But this is a risk that Bruce must take. All he can do for now is distract the guys on the ground floor.

With the available gadgets, the best way to distract them is by using smoke bombs. Although they will be alert, they will not have any option. All they can do in that situation is either try to run out of the smoke-affected area or search for the enemy in the smoke. After throwing two smoke bombs into the middle of the enemies, the hall-room got covered in smoke within seconds. The two guards that stood guarding Katie's room got alert and stood in a fighting position. What they did not expect was that a man in a black dress will jump down from above and hit them in the back of their head with a baton.

After they fell unconscious, Bruce jumped from the 1st floor to the ground floor, into the smoke. Although he cannot see any enemy right now, his enemy can't see him either. But he has a different advantage against them. Experience. Although they are not making any sound from their mouth, he could find them just from their breathing and stepping sound.

It took less than one minute to defeat 9 enemies. Some had already run out of the affected area. But he defeated them all the same with some perfect throw of his batons. He was surprised. He thought that they were elite. Then how can they not put up any fight? It should not have been this easy. But now the problem was he could not see the last enemy in the hall-room. He slipped out during these 53 seconds.

He used the grappling gun to climb to the attic again. From there he can have a better view. That is when he saw, the last enemy is pushing Katie out of the room. He had a gun pointed at her head from her behind. He is looking around to find the assailant.

Katie- "You can kill me if you want, but the Wayne family will never accept your demand."
